A very helpful experience to be able to…

A very helpful experience to be able to get a problem charge point back online for my long journey home. Very polite and also waited to ensure the charge point was fully operational and charging. Nice to be able to speak to a real person, not AI generated or message prompting, so added a nice touch to worries where I could get a charge. Charge Card worked flawlessly when the point was up and running, so overall a great experience.

I can confirm that the current tariffs for Uber drivers are as follows:

7kW charging: from £0.37 per kWh
50kW charging: from £0.59 per kWh
150kW charging: from £0.59 per kWh

Well from start to finish was a easy journey, clear concise screen to navigate, clean stand alones, clean jack sockets and good parking spaces.
Payments flawless straight payment from default bank, and subscription on time.
Very competitively priced, order your pulse card to stop the bigger upfront payments.
Yep go for it, it's a good package.
and it's BP.

Generally good but the last time I used…

Generally good but the last time I used my local fast charger it disconnected twice which meant BP had the deposit twice (£120) which took a couple of days to recover and I only got about £30 of charge, why such a large deposit?

Once you finish charging, we’ll tell your bank to release any unused funds, so you only pay for what you use. Most banks process this within a few days. Disappointed

I don't know what's wrong with most of you or whether you work for BP bit I have had a nightmare with the company trying to charge as most of there chargers are either not working or faulty in a other way. Today with the new pricing regime they took a £60 deposit and to learn the charger wasn't working I know I'll get it back but I am disabled and money is not freely available. I have the monthly subscription which I will be cancelling. Tbh the whole BP has been a nightmare.

We requested further information from you regarding your recent experience at our public charge units. Unfortunately, we didn't hear anything back from yourself. Please accept my apologises that you found our service to be below your desired level of customer care. Should you have any issues or concerns, our customer care helpline is open 24/7 and will be happy to assist.

Regarding the £60.00 deposit, this is a preauthorization fee that we instruct your bank to release as soon as the charge session has finished. However, it may take a few days to release the funds back into your account. The preauthorization fee is only held and not withdrawn and will display as 'pending' on your bank statement until it is released.

Great Customer Support

I had to call BP Pulse to report my lost card and order a new one. The staff on the phone were very helpful in terms of guiding me step by step. Really appreciate their help and support.

Used a charger in Boston

Used a charger in Boston, yes it worked, but at 89pKWH so it should. I have just attempted to get a VAT receipt but I need to wait 48 hours, then set a reminder in my diary to do it, having remembered to make a note of the charger number, the exact amout I allowed them to drain from my bank account and which card I used. Life is too short to bother, but I know to avoid in future.

Great service!

I had issue with using my BP pulse member card a public charging location. I called customer service, who offered a courteous and clear guidance that helped resolve the problem within minutes. Great service!

I have dealt with friendly

I have dealt with friendly, helpful and courteous BP staffs as my Mercedes ev charge card did not seem to work for unknown reasons. BP staffs remotely activated the charger for me.

Slow charges High prices

Slow charges High prices. Local charger is slow (7kw) and the price has jumped from 44p to 52p. Very poor BP. You need to be competitive.

Old chargers + good customer service

I signed up for an account, the app and the card to be able to use the EV charging stations at work. Unfortunately, the AC chargers are very old (my workplace adopted EV charging very early on) and don’t seem to have been upgraded. I had a lot of problems getting connected and disconnected at different times.

What stops me giving this a one star is the customer service. The helpline agents have been very helpful each time.

Maybe time to review some of your first generation chargers, bp.

Updating my review from its original three stars. Got a check in call from customer service explaining that the chargers were no longer owned by them and that it was up to my work place to manage them.

While my issue wasn’t solved, I do appreciate the courtesy call.
