Good location. Entertainment in the evening good. Staff good.
The hotel could do with a lick or even a couple of licks of paint !
Quite noisy in our rooms in the evening until the entertainment finished, but then people chatting outside until the early hours kept us awake every night ! Rooms small but nicely furnished and comfortable. Breakfast good and efficient pleasant waiting on staff. Drinks in the bar very reasonable.

Room very very small and damp.
Not the cleanest and only stayed the one night.
I was also told there was free parking but this was not the case . Had to walk about a mile with the luggage.

Lovely hotel with brilliant staff
Lovely hotel with brilliant staff. Good rooms with clean modern bathrooms. The carpet was a little warn but overall very happy with room. You can hear people in the corridor when they return from a night out maybe nice to try and drain out the sound somehow.

The hotel was spotless clean BUT!!!
The hotel was spotless clean and the beds were clean and comfortable. I asked for a room large enough for two disabled OAPs to move around but the room was pretty small. The en suite was spotles, we had no complaints. The staff were all very smart and very pleasant, they were on hand to do whatever you asked of them.
If we have a complaint it would be concerning the meals, they were ok but weren't home cooked, very disapointing. It's the only thing that I would say let it down.
We probably will go back but it will only be for bed and breakfast.

Great stay in Royal Carlton Hotel
Stayed in Royal Carlton Hotel and was great. Room was not huge but had lots of storage, and great sea view. Fans in all rooms was a great benefit as it was actually warm in Blackpool! Buffet breakfast was a bonus with a vegetarian and fussy teenagers, but how to get the tea and coffee should be a bit more obvious for newcomers. Entertainment was great even though bingo was cancelled due to everyone enjoying the weather and concerts that weekend. Very reasonable priced bar with Starbucks drinks also. Great central location, reception staff extremely helpful, bar staff very friendly and rooms cleaned daily. Sea view outside windows could do with a clean and outside music a touch too loud. Take the card you payed with. No wifi in rooms. Other than that can't fault our stay. Well done Carlton, you made our holiday.

In reference to the entertainment - it's wonderful you got to see some of the excellent live cabaret on offer at the hotel, bingo is on a night by night basis i'm afraid due to guest demand however it's really great you enjoyed the entertainment and that you found our bar prices to be very reasonable.
Thank you also for the great comments on our staff, the hotel really prides itself on delivering superb customer service so we are happy you were well looked after by the team.
In reference to the window in your room - we do have the hotel windows professionally cleaned on a regular basis however being directly on the seafront we are subjected to the full force of the adverse weather coming in from the Irish Sea.
We thank you for bringing matters to our attention re the music outside, we will; pass this onto hotel management to ensure a comfortable level is maintained at all times.

The hotel staff on arrival were very welcoming and informative entertainment while at the hotel was excellent service excellent room however was on the small side very cramped in places doors not fitted right spaces between fram and door very poorly fitted as was leaving allot of light from corridors and noise levels very high both from alley way and kitchen area in the mornings locality of hotel to center excellent.

Breakfast was very nice
Rooms was ok,but we was on top floor and lift only held 2 people
Room was cleaned,sheets towels changed daily.
Cabaret on first night was good and enjoyed it.but after that different singers but all sang the same songs.
We enjoyed our weekend here and recommend the stay at the royal sandbank hotel

In reference to the lift - this comfortably accommodated 2 persons at a time which is perfectly adequate for the size of hotel and number of guests staying however we do understand that at busy period (prior to breakfast and dinner) there can be a slight wait time.
In regards to cabaret - we do try and provide an entertainment schedule suitable for all with some of the finest live cabaret in Blackpool and we are happy that overall you did enjoy the nightly entertainment however we will pass on your feedback regarding set lists to our entertainment coordinator - thank you for bringing matters to our attention.

I was at Blackpool switch on light show…
I was at Blackpool switch on light show it was great as usual and I cannot fault Blackpool promotions who we travelled with. Nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in the hotel Ruskin very central, and just short walk to most amenities. The food was great hotel clean bar prices very reasonable and I would stay there again.

Lovely room and friendly staff, really handy to the promenade and tower, great breakfast aswell. However, the room was far too hot and on the website it says it has free parking but when we arrived was asked if I had booked a garage, there is nothing on the website so ended up having to pay £10 in a street away from the hotel for 24hrs parking, was disappointed by this but those are the only complaints I have.

The staff were rude the only polite and friendly staff were the cleaners the bed was like sleeping on a plank of wood and the room was tiny and to pay all that money for a room with sea view that was tiny is out of order and i wont recommend this hotel to anyone there is other hotels with friendly staff bigger rooms with sea view and a lot cheaper. Dissapointing stay.

Thank you for your review, we are very sorry to learn that you did not enjoy your stay at the Royal Seabank Hotel.
I am sorry if you found any of the staff members to be rude, it is certainly not the general feedback we receive regarding our staff as you will see from the other reviews. The staff in the hotel work hard to ensure all guests have an enjoyable holiday and it would be out of character for any of them to be deliberately rude, however I am sorry if there has been a misunderstanding.
With regard to the price, I note that you booked with booking.com and chose a double sea-view bedroom. As you will be aware the weekend of your stay is the switch on of the Blackpool Illuminations and is one of the busiest weekends of the year in Blackpool. We do continually update our prices in line with our competitors and feel the price is fair for a double sea-view bedroom on the Central Promenade for the standard of accommodation offered for this weekend.
Unfortunately, there is no notes of any complaints being raised during your stay, we do ask on literature in the bedrooms to raise any issues immediately with our staff to provide us with the opportunity to rectify any issues in order for you to fully enjoy your stay.
It is always disappointing to learn that any of our guests did not have an enjoyable stay, particularly when we have not been provided with the opportunity to rectify any issues.
