The campervan is very spacious and extremely comfortable. After our first trip away we rebooked to go away on a second trip. The price is very reasonable and the hosts are great. A very nice little parcel was left in the van for us

We were looking for a long wheelbase VW camper to hire for some adventures with our 2 dogs. Short wheelbase campers don't offer any floor space when the rock & roll bed is in place so when we found Hamish and Dycersdubs Campervanhire we couldn’t believe our luck!
Audrey and Douglas were so helpful and the booking process was smooth and easy on their website.
Everything you could ever need is thoughtfully provided, camping chairs, table, soft furnishings, kitchen equipment and even a gas bbq grill.
We all had an epic time with Hamish, staying warm and dry in the rainy days while setting up camp.
100% recommend and would use again.

We had a very good experience renting Hamish from Audrey and Douglas.
The handover was well organised, and everything was explained clearly before we started our trip. Hamish was easy to drive and suitable for all the roads we encountered during our journey through Scotland, including narrow single-track roads.
The campervan was well equipped with everything we needed for cooking, barbecuing and sleeping. Its size was ideal for us: spacious enough to be comfortable, while still being easy to handle.
Audrey and Douglas were friendly and helpful throughout. They also kindly drove us to the airport after we returned the campervan.
We would recommend Hamish to anyone planning a campervan trip through Scotland.

5 star and then some. Hamish took us through the stunning Highlands of Scotland on a beautiful sunny 4 day trip. He was a dream to drive and sleep in at the end of an adventurous day. Fully equipped with everything needed to survive the wilderness. Audrey and Douglas were very helpful when I first picked up Hamish. The van was very clean and had some items already stocked. I has a very enjoyable four days in Ballater with snow on the last 2 days. Hamish coped with this easily and I would thoroughly recommend Hamish to any family looking for an adventurous holiday.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience hiring a campervan for our long weekend on the NC500! From the moment we got in touch, Audrey was incredibly helpful and friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for our trip.

The van itself was spotless, well-equipped, and had absolutely everything we needed for an stress-free getaway. Plus it’s dog friendly, so Teddy our chihuahua had the time of his life!

Me and my friend were going on a trip around the Scottish Highlands, and I'm glad we decided to rent the campervan from Douglas and Audrey. We got a quick response about the days we wanted to rent, and they picked us up at the Airport which made our trip a lot easier and stress free. Douglas and Audrey are a lovely couple, we booked their van for a trip in Scotland and the experience regarding the booking was above all expectations. The van was in immaculate conditions and they were very friendly, even providing recommendations. On top of that, they even picked us up from the airport. In conclusion, I could not recommend more !

We took the kids away for a couple of days upto Loch Ness. A great wee van with everything you need in it. Very nice to drive! Owners were very helpful and friendly. We would definitely book again

My partner and I had a great long weekend away to the west coast of Scotland in Hamish. The van is very spacious and has everything you need plus more, the diesel heater especially was brilliant after a cold long walk in the hills! We had a lovely weekend away. Great to drive, the bed was very comfortable, lots of storage and it had everything we needed.
The table and chairs were perfect for a campsite breakfast.
The owners were very helpful.
