Very few times do I visit banks until hell breaks loose. Or the phone breaks and there is no mobile banking. That's why I was at the TSB Broadmead Bristol at 09:45 Saturday 18th. Mercies my way, the door was opened 09:59:59, although my appointment was slotted 11:45.

The good lady D.M. kindly offered to assist me promptly. Resetting the banking details after 2 years was a nightmare because I couldn't remember my secret answers. To which D kindly took me through registering afresh. And did I make a mess! Three times she guided me patiently as I got too muddled by details, bless her kindness.

My lady luck saw me back to mobile banking by 10:30. Crises resolved. And my day was saved to pursue other pending and pressing matters thanks to D who went over and above to help someone with very clumpsy fingers.

Having struggled with a new credit card balance transfer due to an original hacking attempt I had to go into branch in Darlington to resolve the issue. I couldn’t praise the member of staff more for her assistance. Yes it took half an hour but she dealt with the batter very professionally and with clarity and understanding. I cannot give enough praise to Georgina for her resolution of the situation

Recently I was defrauded of £500 for a payment which I was supposedly (but never) made to Fortnum &Mason. The TSB Fraud Department blocked the fraudster and refunded my bank account.

It appears that TSB then red-flagged my Account because, ever since, it has been, without any prior notification, being blocking my debit card and access to my bank account.

Over several days, I have been trying unsuccessfully to (1) unblock my debit card, and (2) unblock access to my bank account. Due to TSB's antiquated and dysfunctional software, both attempts have failed. When TSB send me a six-digit Security Code and I try to use it for verification the TSB software refuses to recognize it. So TSB has left me high-and-dry with first, a blocked card and then a blocked account.

Howevermuch I complain about all this the TSB minions are unable to help because they are managed by a senior personnel that doesn't give a fig for its customers and, instead, just leaves us hanging on the line. As far as I'm concerned the sooner these morons are put put out to pasture the better. Meantime I shall be closing my TSB account and going to another bank. I don't like any of them but what can a wage slave, living in dystopia, do? :)

We have had an appointment today 17 July 2026 with Stella Edmondson in the Bamber Bridge, Preston, Lancashire branch of the TSB. We met Stella last year when she helped us set up new accounts. We went back today for a review, it was lovely to see Stella again. Stella is 100% the professional, whilst also being down to earth, she has unlimited knowledge on all the products available and talked us through everything from start to finish, being very patient with us if there was anything we didn’t understand. We came away from our visit to the branch feeling we had been to see ‘a friend’, that is how Stella makes you feel with her bubbly personality, caring attitude and always finding the answers for you. We would 100% always recommend seeing Stella at the Bamber Bridge office, you will not be disappointed. Hopefully this branch of TSB will be staying and won’t change to Santander then we can see Stella again. See you in 2027 Stella. Be aware of this Bank recently they were acquired by Santander
My account was closed with no notice and I was costumer for more than 8 years with tsb also they kept my money I tried to phone more than 100 times to resolve my issue most of times the costumer fraud team hang out in my face they are based in Mumbai you barely understand what they are saying.
My lawyer file a lawsuit against this institution.

I had an appointment with Darren at the Cameron Toll Branch of TSB on 17th July 2026. He was very friendly, respectful, knowledgeable and helpful. After looking through my banking history he put forward a better way to manage my accounts but in no way pressurised me in to changing anything. He gave me time to think things through before I decided to change anything. He also took me through ways I can manage my account as well through my phone app. We chatted away throughout which made me feel at ease not just a customer he had to advise. He as a young man has certainly got the skills in customer service down to a fine art. It was a pleasure dealing with him.

Had an appointment with Nadine today at TSB in Hanover Street Edinburgh. She was super helpful and helped me make informed decisions about my savings account. Very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Will defy ask for her next time I’m in branch!

Went to visit the TSB Beverley Branch and Christian was very helpful and efficient. Made me feel welcomed. I needed help with understanding different savings options . This has made a big difference to my savings and the interest I am gaining. Recommend visiting this branch. Hope it stays open.

I tried to get a loan from the TSB and was refused. I wanted to appeal and was contacted by a lovely woman named Lorraine from Fraserburgh. Lorraine was fantastic and kept me updated on my appeal. She went above and beyond for me and I WOULD like to say THANK YOU VERY MUCH LORRAINE. You deserve a 12 out of 10. You were fantastic and i would just like to say THANK YOU VERY MUCH AGAIN.

I have a simple mortgage with TSB, which runs fine. I have just needed to change the direct debit details. The advice was to do this via their mobile banking app. Which has taken me nearly 45 minutes... 🙄

When was the last time that they checked their customer experience? I regularly move ISAs around and crypto etc... Which comparatively takes minutes. I had a similar experience with Halifax a few years ago. These old school banks just don't evolve at all. TSB, please review your customer experience and update your tech! Yours, frustrated Dave... 😖

Had a review of my accounts today in handover street edinburgh branch with nadine , she went over all the accounts i could get to to get best interest rates & will be over be £1157 better of .
This is why you need the on street branches i wouldn't be able to have done this myself online great customer service

I am a regular TSB customer and always see Khalid at New Street Branch who sort my finances out every time I see him. I received the offer via digital banking that I can borrow up to £45000 loan which is guaranteed. Every time I tried to do it come up with insulting message that I am not eligible. Eventually I have to find time and see Khalid again without appointment and he did not disappoint me by seeing me straight after the customer he was with. He refinanced the whole lot with the additional money I needed and reduced the interest on everything I have had which made me feel extremely valued. All thanks to Khalid again. Cannot appreciate enough. Adrian

A company tried to take money from my account. Tsb send me a confirmation and ibreplied'no'. Debit card got stopped. I have tried since yesterday to get my card activated . Spend 3 hours yesterday, over 2 hours today, visited tsb bank and was told to wait for manager to deal with issue. I havea life and things to do. Called tsb again and samecwsiting person and then told to ring back tomorrow. If zeros stars was available , you deserve it.

It seems that every time I need to use my credit card, it gets blocked.

The way they protect you from fraud is by blocking your card when you need to use it, and making you wait for one hour on the phone in order to unblock it. Even if you area already on the phone with them, there is no way for you to announce to them that you are about to make another payment in order to prevent blocking, because it's all automated. So that each time you use the card, it will be blocked. Therefore, you're better off using a different provider of credit cards.

I had several problems that I didn't know how to resolve, at 2pm on a Friday I had an urgent payment to make and also to set up a standing order. All of which was made worse as I couldn't gain access to online banking. That's when I met Nikki, a member of staff, I explained the issues that I had and this young lady went into business mode with an air of calmness, there wasn't anything that was too much of a problem to Nikki. I felt assured that everything would be resolved, and it was, I was up and running with online banking,the one off payment had been made and the standing order was set up.It's rare to find someone as thoughtful and willing to go the extra mile, to ensure that everything runs smoothly with ease and without fuss. Nikki's kindness took a huge weight off my shoulders , I can't thank Nikki enough for everything that Nikki did for me. I have dealt with several members of staff in the Motherwell Branch of the TSB and on each occasion I've received first class, excellent customer service. Top marks to the TSB in Motherwell.

Great experience with TSB this week . I do not bank with them but i had to deal with them on behalf of a close relative . First Ben at the bank hub whitchurch shropshire so patience and really helpful despite the volune of people. Second Charlotre Bramall who is an amazing person who has a job that requires so much patience and understanding. Charlotte is by far one of the best people i have ever met in banking with one extremely hard job that requires so much time and patience. There should be a Charlotte in every branch. Thank you Charlotte you made what seemed the impossible possible with your great explaining and so so so much patience . Thank you .

I was subject to a scam on my credit card a week ago. It took the fraud department 30 minutes to answer my call to report the scam.They put a block on my current account and my credit card. After 14 calls to get a refund on the fraud, in which most of the agents didn't have a clue what to do, I got a agreement to have the funds paid back into my account. And then had to chase TSB to get my accounts unblocked. My credit card payment was due by direct debit the payment was refused due to the blocked accounts. As soon as my current account was reopened I made the payment. TSB are now trying to charge me interest for late credit card payment. This bank as no idea when it comes to customers.
