Good Savings Rate

Good Savings Rate. I've been with TSB for a few months now and I'm pleased with the interest rate on my Regular Savings account.
The initial experience trying to activate my account was fairly poor and I feel the online experience in general is a bit creaky and basic at times. However, it is still a good place for savers and hopefully, they will improve the website experience over time.

5 Star service from Pam and Annie

5 Star service from Pam and Annie. They were extremely patient with myself and my husband who are not the best at the tech side of banking. Well done to these lovely ladies at the Atheneum Branch in Sunderland.

Total incompetence

Well, well, well… After checking my past reviews, it seems history is repeating itself!

This bank is an absolute shambles. The way they treat people is disgraceful and the amount of issues with one account is beyond being an administration error. It is sheer and utter incompetence.

Yet again, TSB for the THIRD TIME have recorded an incorrect default date on my credit file and the account was due to be removed from my credit file on the 25 March 2026, but two days before this was meant to drop off, the file was updated and is showing 25 September 2026!!!!!!!! This date is incorrect and you were meant to have fixed this some time ago and had confirmation from you to show this was changed to the correct date in March!!!

I have had enough of the appalling service and lack of responses.

Time to involve a solicitor. Enough is enough!!!!!

The default should be gone from my credit file and was settled and paid as arranged via the debt management programme. GET THE ENTRY OFF MY CREDIT FILE !!!!!!

TSB CAMERON TOLL

After a number of frustrating incidences of blocked cards, we visited TSB at Cameron Toll, Edinburgh. We were assisted by Toni Stevenson who patiently and professionally sorted out our problem with a lengthy phone call to fraud department. Toni took even more time by accompanying us to a nearby shop to ensure that the card was working properly. Five stars to Toni but 3 stars for TSB fraud department who are almost impossible to understand due to pronunciation problems.

I've been customer for tsb for years at harold hill bank , and I can honestly recommend to ask for matt , he is very patient with me and my mum and very helpful when we need any help for anything ...and the staff are also very efficient and very friendly...

Stay away from TSB insurance policies

What ever you do don’t take an insurance policy out through TSB and L&G. They say get a gift card after 6 months and then can’t add up to 6 payments made so refuse.
Also they have not learnt their lesson. Getting commission on the policies as well without informing people first.
Another one the courts need to look into

TSB Doncaster Great Again

TSB Doncaster, excellent again as always.
A bank where they have not forgotten how to be friendly, and listen to your requirements. We had a few accounts to review and change, nothing was too much trouble. Hats off to Max he was fantastic and really interesting to talk to.

More ‘planned maintenance’ it’s insane…

More ‘planned maintenance’ it’s insane how often this happens. Usually in the middle of the night but tonight just as I need to pay bills they decided to do it earlier. Both online and app at the same time. I’ve stuck it out for years but I’ve absolutely had enough. First thing tomo morning I am switching banks. I can’t stand the drama of this nightmare bank any more.

I had too many failed attempts and I…

I had too many failed attempts and I keep getting locked out and it is impossible to get back in as the AI doesnt recognise me, my date of birth and bank card no. I have banked with them for over 40 years... The helpline is challenging as the AI constantly does not recognise my date of birth. We have spoken to three members of the support team today one was very lazy and just said delete it start again. The others tried to help.
I called in my own support who watched me and there were occasions were we know we were right and the AI was wrong.
Arrrh!!! such a frustrating day.
We just when we thought we'd got it and I tried to pay someone. Shut down shut out arhhhh!
End of the day and I am worse off than when I started.
I know that they are trying to keep my money safe but I can't to use it. I'm not even a spendthrift.
Having spoken to family & friends thier banks have safety features that are more accessable for their members.
TSB you need to sort out your softwear accesd.

Yet another feedback I'm having to…

Yet another feedback I'm having to leave fir TSB....constant problems with online banking! Along with one customer service agent who is very obstructive is more interested in informing me I cant use online banking unless I confirm what model if phone I'm using really! Having also confirm my phone number on several occasions! I'm unable to receive a code to reset online banking details...I'm so flattered to think that this bank employ such sad agents... to be deliberately obstructive for a simple request ....this is one unsustainable bank who obviously got to much time on hands maybe being less so they may get more customers..so let's look forward to a battle against. A sad institution..
