Can’t get help without appointment don’t notify you when payment go in and out your account so your account could be emptied and your wouldn’t even know without logging in? AVOID
I switched to this bank from another bank as customer service was no existent at previous bank however this one is worst nobody will help without an appointment and app is useless? So I go to the Motherwell branch as can’t cancel a direct debit on the app wouldn’t work so went into branch so waited 20 minutes to get help then asked someone to help change the pin on two savings cards as both pin came at the same time so didn’t know which one was for which account told to busy so have to leave and wait to my wean had finished school I’m disabled so needed help so if your disabled need help with the app don’t use this bank not interested in helping customers? Another thing with this bank I don’t understand they don’t send you notifications what’s coming in and out your account direct debit money paid in etc so someone could empty your account and you would know nothing about it till you logged in to notice money is missing ? Ever other bank I know has this feature telling you when money paid in out your account M&S Virgin money I have account with them and if I spend anything get told what’s went in and out TSB seem to be outdated and in the dark ages unlike other banks and never known a bank that won’t help you without an appointment a waste of time

Today, I had the pleasure of meeting with Nadine at the Hanover Street branch.
Her service was absolutely spot-on. She helped me more than I ever expected, and she did it all with a friendly, human touch.
Honestly, it was the first time I actually enjoyed spending time in a bank.

Nadine gave me the best possible Financial advice I could have asked for.
She was most knowledgeable about the products involved.
Also at the start of Covid I had to immediately cease my Academic teaching as I was over the 74 threshold age and this meant a considerable reduction in Salary.
Post Covid I was unable to continue earning at any more than 30% of my capabilities ( First two Vaccinations badly affected my health)
Since then I have struggled financially.
Nadine was able to go through my Outgoings and way of life to optimise my current situation.
Now this could only have been achieved by a Face to Face meeting .
So a massive thanks to TSB Hanover St Edinburgh for allowing this to take place and to Nadine personally
A truly awful customer service unless…
A truly awful customer service unless you go in branch. I've lost count of all the mistakes they've made and I've only been a customer for three weeks. Abysmal. Don't sign up.

Today, i saw Raksha Sodha at the Luton Pod as i had a block on my account. RAKSHA showed professionalism and patience in calling the departmment and was very patient and helped me out putting my mind at ease. She was extremely helpful.

Excellent service in High Wycombe
I took my very elderly mum for an appointment with Katherine Jarvis in High Wycombe. Katherine engaged with mum from the moment we walked in the door & explained everything we discussed really well to her so she understood it. Katherine answered all our queries, we couldn't have asked for a better meeting. She is a great asset to the team in High Wycombe and we look forward to seeing her again.
Rang the help line after they froze my…
Rang the help line after they froze my internet/app when I tried to transfer money to a bank they do not approve of. Which has a good reputation.
Then spent 45 mins to get through to be told I need to talk to the fraud team , who had all gone home. Ring back tomorrow only option.
I then need to talk to the credit card fraud team as my card appeared to be blocked another long wait overall 1hr 55min on phone. 1 hour 40 of it waiting to be answered
Horrible bank
Horrible bank! I regret moving to it! Get used to delayed payments and useless staff members form South Asia.
Used 2 different banks accounts with the same vendor never had issue before till I decide to bank with this useless bank! They don't have a concept of faster payment.
This bank should be shut down and the CEO should be imprisoned

Came to Hanover Street branch to ask to see Nadine who helped me previously with my last loan. I wanted to borrow extra funds and I went to branch to ask if this was possible.
I had asked to wait for Nadine, as I wanted to stick the same person as I liked her service last time I saw her. I didn't have an apt, but was on my day off and Nadine cam eout of her room to tell me she could see me later if I was happy to wait for her, which I did.
I am delighted she successfully helped me with doing it online, so it was quick and easy and I saved 1% on my old loan, making it more affordable for my extra funds needed. Loan was completed straight away and I am delighted.

First rate bank great staff at branch.
Changed to this bank as the one i was with was diabolical. My local branch was more than helpful sorted out all my switch overs and all working beautifully. Great customer service in branch do not know about when calling as i havent used that . Would highly recommend this bank very helpful staff where i live.
Claim fraud when there is none
Cancelled my Debit Card because they didn't like where I was spending my money, which was a legitimate company, not a scam website as TSB claim.

Had to go into the Bootle Strand Branch as we were unable to action something on line. Something that was incredibly difficult and time consuming on line was made so much easier by a young lady called Abbey. She was super efficient, knowledgeable and a really lovely person. She managed to make our experience enjoyable and stress free
