A little background, I bought a new computer strictly for CAD work and documents. It will always be offline except for the initial set up. A copy of office was purchased (order # 24963) and it worked fine, the CAD was purchased and worked OK for a while, also had trouble with a printer, ALSO VERY SLOW. It was decided to remove windows 11 and replace it with windows 10.
Before wiping Win11, I tried at least 4 or 5 times emailing TSC with no response. I wanted to ask how to preserve my recently purchased copy of office, could not find a phone number either. Windows 11 was wiped and I had to buy another copy of office (order 28683).
It is not so much the money but the hype about support, that I did not receive. I did research office options and decided to stick with MS and what I feel is a legit copy.
I am not sure it is working correctly this time because I cannot find the excel or word programs, however, I can open any of over 75 files, and do a save as xxxx to start a new file. No thesaurus and the file extensions changed that kind of scramble the word documents.

I received an emailed from James P. at The Software City. He was sorry for not answering my, 3 not 5, emails and I now believe they were just overlooked. I was told if he received them, I would not have had to purchase a second copy of office. They are refunding me for my second copy, order #28683.
I can install the original copy of office, with phone help from James at no charge if needed.
This experience represents the mostly positive reviews I had read earlier and am changing my rating to 5-stars.

Microsoft Office 2024 home was available at a reasonable price, emails can be a bit confusing but as long as you follow the installation instructions in the second email, it won't be a problem. Once you receive the email with the key, go back to the installation instructions and it is easy to complete. Thank you, I was able to get everything downloaded and operational in only a few minututs.

I was kept informed by the person that would install the program on my computer several times leading up to the actual installation. When the time came to install it I was left in the dark. I didn't know how I would be contacted and shortly after the appointment was supposed to begin I searched around and found it was on a live chat, though the page on the website called it something else. I downloaded the TeamViewer program as instructed & then waited, not understanding that I should open the program. After waiting for more than a half hour with no further contact from the installer I chatted back asking if he was working on the installation or if there was more I needed to do. The reply was that he was working on another unrelated task & that he would be back to me in an hour. I responded that I would not wait another hour & ended the contact. During the half hour there was no communication from the tech to find out if I was having a problem or didn't understand what I needed to do to complete the installation. At this point I am not satisfied with how this is going at all.

I had some procedural questions which were answered promptly. However, I do not plan to do the actual installation for several weeks because I am fighting like hell to save our democracy and will continue to use the Office 2021 version I have.

Support accessed my computer remotely and ran thru the installation as promised
It was enjoyable to watch "somebody else" do it for a change and I was confident that they were experienced and did not miss anything
Good bye to Microsoft office and great to have Publisher back on board

This is my 2nd purchase from The Software City. James was super helpful. He installed Office for me. I send an email to The Software City (James) asking to set up an appointment to install Office. He had the time to do it immediately. Super guy, Super Company. I will purchase more from them when needed. I am very impressed.

A genuine software supplier (unlike the myriads of scams) that has good prices and easy to install.
I installed MS Office 2024 Pro + for $200 with no annual renewals yet MS updates included.

1- Very easy to order the product
2- Clear and concise emails giving all of the order information and then detailed installation instructions. They even provided a link to an installation video!
3 - The software installed without a problem, it was the easiest install I have ever experienced!

The install was very efficient and saved me a great deal of time not trying to do it myself. Excellent service.

The whole process was extremely easy, and the software download was extremely easy. I received my licence key almost instantly. The only think i would like improved is that the prices were not advertised in Australian dollar, at least it was not clear that the actual price was in US dollar which means it actually cost more. I only found out after the purchase.

Very good installation, moved fast with ease. The Technician knew exactly what needed to be completed and installed the program as promised.

I had an appointment with James for Tuesday but he went out of his way to contact me on Sunday and within minutes i was up and running. excellent support.
