The worst insurance company in the UAE. They don't approve car repairs immediately; approval takes more than 25 days. A very, very, very bad company.

it is a big time scam, agents will say everything to sell you the policies , but than u will get nothing in return, and by any chance if you want to stop or cancel the policy, they will back out from their commitment and stop answering your calls and emails

Poor service and frustrating experience
I have still not received any response or concrete action regarding my concerns for almost 12 days.
Please be advised that if I do not receive immediate feedback and a clear action plan, I will have no choice but to escalate this matter by submitting a formal complaint to the Police and the concerned Ministry for this matters , due to the continued lack of communication and disregard for my concerns.
At this point, my vehicle has been left unattended, exposed to dust, sun, and rain, with no visible progress on the repairs, despite the claim being approved. This situation is unacceptable and reflects serious negligence.

Any Excuse to Avoid Paying
Sukoon frequently reject medical claims that they later approve, are extremely fussy and inconsistent over claims documents and use these and other bureaucratic barriers to avoid paying. This causes our employees and medical providers a lot of time and stress dealing with Sukoon and their ways of doing business. I'm going to recommend my company uses a different insurer in future.
Worse garage
Sukoon refer us to garage Named Eco Al Arabia based in Al Quoz, which we face a worse experience.
Garage kept the car in their garage for more than 10 days without doing anything.
Sukoon needs to refer clients to garage with commitment.

Sukoon goes above and beyond in their efforts to avoid approving treatments in a timely matter, placing long and difficult obstacles in the way of appropriate treatment approvals. I upgraded my insurance last year after paying for an emergency exam myself, which Sukoon rejected. I now find myself in a similar situation this year, being sent to numerous (pointless) appointments - 8 and counting - in an effort to avoid paying for an MRI.

I don’t recommend at all, 90% of medical treatments are not covered, medication not covered. My son needed urgent MRI scan on his knee because of an injury, 6 times my sukoon rejected and now I have to do it self pay. Horrible service experience

Very good service. I had purchased travel insurance from Sukoon Insurance. I cancelled my travel plans due to medical emergency and they refunded me on time as per the travel insurance guidelines.

7.5 Months of Hell – Sokuun Auto Insurance Tried to Write Off My Car for Profit
I bought Sokuun’s top auto insurance thinking I’d get the “best” coverage. I drive a pristine 2020 Infiniti QX80 V8 — under 10,000 km, only driven by me. In December 2024, I had a minor accident (confirmed as “minor” in the police report) — a gentle bump into the car ahead.
I submitted my claim. That’s when the nightmare began.
Sokuun kept my car for 7.5 months, moving it from garage to garage without explaining why. I had my own trusted supplier inspect it — he confirmed it was a straightforward repair. Months later, out of nowhere, Sokuun emailed me saying my car was a total loss.
Total loss? UAE law requires total loss claims to be declared within 15 days of having complete claim documents — a period that exceeded six months. Their excuse? Alleged “chassis damage.” My supplier checked — it was so minimal you’d have to search for it… or worse, create it. The car would have passed the RTA test without issue, he guaranteed.
Why the sudden total loss decision? Because parting out my car would be worth more to them than repairing it. Example: a second-hand headlight alone sells for 4.5k–5.5k AED.
I refused to accept their scam. I repaired it myself through my supplier, and — surprise — it passed RTA inspection perfectly.
Sokuun, your job is to protect customers, not cheat them. This was deliberate, dishonest, and shameful. The authorities should investigate every person involved.
I’m leaving Sokuun immediately. If you value your car, your money, and your sanity — stay far away from these people.

Terrible stay away from them. Expensive and they will give you nothing. Pre approvals are very long and usually gets rejected.
They didn't pay for our treatment in UK and put us under debt there. They add illnesses and medical conditions purposely to your records to charge you more money.

تجربة سيئة للغاية مع شركة سكون بعيده كل البعد عن اهداف التامين سواء العالمي او المحلي هي بأختصار نصب على العميل حتى أنني تفاجئة جدا مع الكراجات التى تتعامل معهم فهم يصلحون السيارات بقيمة 800درهم لانه الشركة تجبرهم بالعقد على ها السعر هذا اذا عميل سكون هو المتسبب في الحادث ولكن اذا العميل متضرر فهم يوافقون على اي سعر تضعه الكراجات بمعنى انت الضحية سياسة التامين واضحة في دولة الامارات ولكن هذا تلاعب من شركة سكون
انا انصحكم ان لا تقعو في نفس الفخ الذي وقعت فيه وكذلك رفضو تصليح سيارتي بحجة ان سيارتي ان الحادث سببه عطل ميكانيكي حتى يفرو من قيمة التصليح للاسف قدمة تصرف محزن ان الشركة التى امنت سيارتك تتلاعب عليك انصح كل من يقع هذا الفخ يقدم شكوى لدى سندك هي وحدة تسوية المنازعات المصرفية والتامينة في دولة الامارات العربية المتحدة
A very bad experience with Sukoon Insurance. They are far removed from the true objectives of insurance, whether globally or locally. In short, it’s a scam against the customer. I was extremely surprised by the garages they work with; they repair cars for just 800 AED because the company forces them through the contract to stick to this price if the Sukoon client is at fault in the accident. However, if the client is the victim, then they approve any price the garage sets. In other words, you are punished for being the victim.
Insurance policies are clearly defined in the UAE, but this is pure manipulation by Sukoon. I advise you not to fall into the same trap I did. They even refused to repair my car, claiming that the accident was caused by a mechanical fault, just to avoid paying the repair costs. Unfortunately, it’s a sad situation when the company you trusted to insure your car turns against you. I advise anyone who falls into this trap to file a complaint with Sanadak, the Banking and Insurance Disputes Resolution Unit in the UAE.

I’m deeply disappointed with the service I’ve received from Sukoon Insurance regarding a request for physiotherapy approval. Despite multiple follow-ups and clear proof from the medical provider that all requested documents were submitted, Sukoon continues to claim that no response was received. I’ve been stuck in a frustrating back-and-forth, with no resolution in sight.
What’s most frustrating is the lack of accountability — it feels like no one is truly reviewing the submitted documents, and my case is just being passed from one person to another. Even after filing formal complaints, I still haven’t received any clear answers or proper support.
This has been a very stressful experience, and I hope Sukoon takes this feedback seriously to improve their process and customer service.

Health Insurance - This is the worst company. I used GIG AXA previously but decided to change for a cheaper quote with Sukoon, a big mistake! SUKOOON are the worst insurance company, don't use them! Use another company but not SUKOON are the worst people out there. Their support line if you want to discuss a claim don't speak English! You would only hear 'sorry ma'am'. that's all they can say!
They can reject any claim on the basis ' non medically necessary'. They would put any claim under exclusion and will reject treatments. Don't waste your money with Sukoon.
Worst Service
Worst Service. I had purchased a comprehensive car Insurance policy for registering my 2nd hand car and they never linked it to the RTA system since 3 days and when raised a query they just make you to wait and pass the entire day till next day starts.
