Swift response and very competitive prices. Mahfouz was highly professional and a great help. I already have two cars insured with GIG and the other three will follow in due time.

I was previously insured with GIG (through InsuranceMarket), and since my policy has now expired, I decided to obtain a new quotation directly from GIG without involving a broker. The online process was smooth initially I completed all the details and proceeded to payment, where a Tabby option was available.

However, when I selected Tabby, the system displayed a message saying the quotation process was complete and asked me to wait up to one hour for further instructions or to contact them via phone or WhatsApp. Unfortunately, I received no follow-up, even after waiting several hours. I then contacted customer service, only to be told to reach out to my broker which makes no sense, as this was a new quotation and not a renewal.

To make matters worse, my call was transferred between three different departments multiple times, with no one taking ownership of the issue. Each department requested my email and sent me a BAL form to authorize GIG to handle my policy directly and remove the broker. I completed and returned the form to all three, but never received any response.

I also emailed their official address and followed up via WhatsApp, but received no reply. When I called again, another agent assisted me but sent a new quotation that still included the previous broker details and at a higher price.

This entire experience has been frustrating and poorly handled. There appears to be a serious lack of coordination and accountability across departments.

Very disappointed.

Being with gig for 2 years , had s wounderful experience but today when called for renewal no proper assitance or guidance and just a reply go to the broker u took insurance . Now this shows i need to hunt fot the broker who gave insurance and gig cannot do anything on renewal and left member lost , also when there is an option in gig website for payment and when used says get whats up assistance for payment and when prooceeded receives a reply no tabby payment then why they are including in their website and when send a complaint email also no reply . Thinking for changing insurance after this bad unprofessional handeling for gig member

Extremely disappointing experience with GIG Insurance. During a very difficult time—after pregnancy complications and the loss of my prematurely born baby at 5 months—I expected support and professionalism.

Instead, GIG refused to fully settle my medical bills, which meant I could not recover the deposit I had paid at Corniche Hospital. This added financial stress to an already devastating situation.

Insurance is meant to provide support during medical emergencies, not create further hardship. I strongly question the fairness and empathy applied in handling my case.

I urge GIG Insurance to review how such sensitive claims are managed.
