I waited over 4 months (covid) for delivery of a Stressless Reno Power Base recliner. After sitting in it on weekends only for 1 month I realized the chair was not comfortable and wanted to return it. Come to find out, that is not an option- neither to the store or back to Norway. The chair sits VERY low to the ground and is difficult to get out of even though I am only 5'7". It is not comfortable when sitting up straight, without the footrest being extended. The up, down, forward and back buttons are awkward to access and find the right one. I am now aware they sell rings that would add 1.25" height to the chair but it would require 3 of them to make it fit. Why should I be required to spend another
$645 when I've already spent almost 4k?!! The chair (not the same exact model) I tried in the store must have had rings and that was not brought to my attention. I intentionally bought a Large chair thinking it would fit. Now I'm stuck with a very expensive chair that I regret buying and actually cringe when I sit in it or even look at it. Sad. Beware of what you are buying and of the return policy of the store!

BEWARE the false promise of a lifetime guarantee. There are certain brands that really should know how to behave correctly in a genuine case of grievance. Instead, we get the standard customer service nonsense.

Thank you for contacting us. We are sorry to learn about the issue with leather surface. Please know that leather is vulnerable to exposure to oils from direct contact with human skin (especially of the neck and hands), but this is not a warranty issue. There is a 1-year warranty on the Stressless leather, as any manufacturing Fault will show in the first 12 months.

Certain cosmetics and body care products contain solvents and oils. These products are not beneficial to leather, as they may weaken the leather finish over time, and you should avoid using your leather furniture with wet hair or with freshly applied hair care products or cosmetics.

It is also important to follow the proper maintenance regime, by using the Stressless Cleaner and apply the Protection cream every 6 months. Please know that Ekornes disclaims all liability if you maintain your leather furniture with other products than Stressless® Leather Care.

We would advise you to contact the retailer where the chairs were purchased, as the Contract of sale was made with them. Your Stressless dealer has all your order details needed for any inspection/repair and they need to agree for us to get involved.

Købte for knap 4 år siden en stressles, Paris høj stol. Den kan jeg ikke anbefale idet stellet er før 4års brug brudt sammen. Den er blevet belastet med en vægt på 85-90kg.
Normalt holder mine stole meget længere.

J'ai acheté un fauteuil stressless RENO à 3300€ en 11/2021
Reçu il y a 1 semaine et je suis très déçu
La qualité de la mousse me parait nettement moins épaisse et les finitions moins bonnes (on dirait que le cuir est trop court au niveau de la têtière que je peux relevé et on voit le tissu noir en dessous)
J'ai gardé l'autre fauteuil 11 ans et était bien plus confortable et je suis sur que le nouveau fera 6-7 ans pas plus car la mouse va vite se tassé (obligé de changer car assise cassé)
Le prix lui n'a pas baissé et vu le prix j'aimerais avoir un produit au top

Vandaag bij Gero langsgeweest om informatie te vragen over een losgekomen vijs in een stressless zetel. Dadelijk geholpen en een speciale schroevendraaier meegekregen en alles was opgelost.

De dure stoelen zitten perfect maar het leer is zeer slecht. We hadden ook nog de duurste leersoort genomen. Na 5 jaar is het al helemaal versleten en kapot. De meubelzaak is failliet en we kunnen nergens terecht met onze klacht. Dit had ik niet verwacht van zo'n gerenommeerd merk.

Nous sommas clients Stressless depuis très longtemps et satisfaits jusqu'à maintenant ! Mais ayant renouvelé deux fauteuils identiques en 2015, l'un des deux noirci aux coutures qui finissent par se couper et la coloration disparait à certains endroits , une catastrophe ! Le second n'a pas subi ces désagréments et reste impeccable. Le vendeur prétend que Stressless contacté ne peut ou ne veut rien faire et me propose simplement une légère remise à condition de passer commande avant le 15/02/2021 sur un fauteuil de remplacement. Très déçu par cette marque que l'on pensait sérieuse !

Een jaar geleden heb ik een Stressless Chilli stoel gekocht. Ik ben tevreden met het zitcomfort en het design van de stoel. Echter, het leer van de stoel is van lage kwaliteit. Aan het zitvlak is het leer blauw verkleurd, wellicht van contact met jeans. Blijkbaar is het leer niet voldoende behandeld en kan dus andere kleuren absorberen. Voor een stoel van bijna 600 EUR verwacht ik veel meer duurzaamheid.

Bonjour,il y a 3 mois j'ai acheté d'occasion 2 fauteuils Stressless Mayfair Dinamica Camel dont je suis ravis bien que ceux-ci aient 13 ans d'âge (2007).
Mon seul souci,réside dans l'entretien du tissu afin de retirer la saleté et les tâches inévitables avec l'utilisation quotidienne.
Quels sont vos conseils et recommandations pour l'entretien de ceux-ci afin de conserver leur magnifique couleur?

Folks this is a review of the London high back office chair, not the recliner. I have a 2 magic recliner and enjoy them very much. I presumed the office chair would be just as comfy but it doesn't close. This was a very expensive error. Initial test trial of this at the showroom was comfy. I committed and purchased. After about 2 weeks of use I reverted back to a 600 office chair. There is nothing ergonomic about the London office chair. It is simply a recliner chair (very comfortable) and placed it on wheels with height adjustment. Armrests are way too low and the thigh support just doesn't seem right for an office chair. If you want/need a ergonomic office chair do NOT buy a Stressless office chair. If you want a recliner buy a Stressless. My message to Ekornes is putting wheels on your comfortable recliners does not transform it to a comfortable office chair, and certainly does not warrant the same price point I'll chalk this experience up as an expensive lesson learned. I don't usually write reviews good or bad but this is a little tell taling about a company that really don't know the difference between a good recliner versus a good ergonomic office chair. This is a taling about this company, as they risked their legendary recliner reputation to carry the office chair without incorporating any egonomics. Oh well, the company will survive but their current line of office chairs will not.
Please do NOT make the same mistake, do consider their recliners, but pass on the office chair.

Achat d'un fauteuil + pouf modèle Vegas en 2015 je suis à la recherche d'une adresse d'un Sav pour réparer mon pouf.
Suis satisfait de mon fauteuil mais je ne peux pas en profiter ne pouvant plus me servir de mon pouf.

Les critiques récentes concernant Stressless me surprennent .J ai acheté en 2002 deux fauteuils plus pouf Ekor chelsea et le canapé Ekor westmister relax classic et ces produits sont encore en trés bon état,malgré une utilisation intense. Le confort est parfait.Je ne met pas en doute les avis négatifs et peut etre que la qualité n est plus ce qu elle ete

Acheté un fauteuil modèle Consul avec son repose-pieds (un des modèles les moins chers) il y a environ 3 ou 4 mois. Je m'en sers en soirée pour regarder la télé ou en sieste l'après-midi. Je n'ai rien à lui reprocher: il est confortable, il est à ma taille et soutient le dos, j'ai débloqué les cales du repose-pieds et ne vois pas l'intérêt de le maintenir bloqué (effectivement les cales sont en plastique mais je ne vois pas très bien l'utilité de bloquer le tabouret alors qu'il accompagne très bien les mouvements du fauteuil). Pas encore de marques d'usure, je verrai ça dans quelques années, mais les mousses semblent bien se tenir et il n'y a pas d'usure prématurée pour moi, contrairement aux expériences que j'ai pu lire sur ce site (n'y a-t-il pas plusieurs fois l'avis d'une même personne?).
Bref je reviendrai dire ce qu'il en est dans quelque temps si j'ai à m'en plaindre, sinon j'oublierai ce site ;-)

Déçus par notre achat de 2 fauteuils avec leur pouf, ils ne pivotent pas lorsqu'on est assis dessus, les lombaires ne sont pas bien soutenues lorsqu'on n'est plus en position initiale, rapport qualité prix bof ! Notoriété surfaite !

Wij hadden een jazz recliner. Erg veel geld aan besteed. Was weggegooid geld. Zeer teleurstellende kwaliteit. Na enkele minuten er inzitten last van rug vooral lage rugpijn. Ook bloedcirculatie naar benen wordt verstoord door de hoek tussen zitgedeelte en rugleuning. Vijf jaar stof staan vergaren. Toen het enige juiste ermee gedaan: op laten halen door vuilnisdienst. Advies: spendeer geen geld aan stressless stoelen het is echt rommel

J'ai acheté un canapé, un fauteuil et deux tabourets il y a cinq ans, plus de 7500 € d'investissements.
Le canapé ne nous sert pas, car très inconfortable, l'accoudoir gauche du fauteuil est tout craquelé et déchiré tant le cuir est de mauvaise qualité et les tabourets inclinables ne tiennent pas leur position, car les arrêtoirs sont en plastique. Ma première appréciation à la livraison était excellente, mais j'aurais dû attendre avant de la publier.

Ontzettend dure waardeloze rommel. Bijna 2000 euro besteed aan een stressless jazz recliner. Heeft vijf jaar stof staan vergaren was onmogelijk er langer dan een kwartier in te zitten zonder erge lage rugpijn te krijgen. Heb hem op laten halen door grofvuil durfde hem niet aan tweedehands winkel aan te bieden vanwege slechte kwaliteit. Advies: koop nooit een Ekornes stoel goedkope campingstoel zit stukken beter.
