Paid for car hire 9 month ago, paid insurance but no still had to put a 2000.00 deposit for insurance.
Took car back and they said there was a spot of ash on dash and smelt smoke and charged a 250.00 cleaning fee..

Being able to do everything online prior to pick up makes it all so much easier and faster - just present my licence, sign and go.
I've always had friendly staff who know what they're doing - that kinda helps with the experience.

Easy to book online, shuttle was quick to pick us up from the airport to take us to the depot. Our car was ready and waiting for us once we had signed the paperwork. Nice modern, tidy, hybrid hatchback. Drop off was quick and easy with another prompt shuttle to the airport.

Super fast Service , mega friendly staff .

So far that we’ve been on our trip in our Snap rental Prius in New Zealand’s North Island it’s been plain sailing. The car has been very reliable and seems to be very cheap to drive so far as we’ve driven four hours in it.
The staff were all very friendly and very helpful as we set out from Auckland airport.
I’d score higher if the front window screen has been washed but the rest of the whole car was clean.

Easy check in. Rental terms were thoroughly explained.
Had some issues with Apple car play, staff were very helpful.
Bit of a wait for the shuttle, about 30 mins.
Overall a good experience.

Luke at the front desk was a star, he was happy and friendly, and explained everything clearly - nothing was a problem. Great experience all round and the vehicle was fabulous for our large family!

We truly felt being valued as a customer and got all support and service during the pick up of our rental car.

1) Problems when picking up

We arrived after travelling 24 hours from Switzerland feeling exhausted and hoping for a smooth pick up. However my Swiss driving license was not accepted without a translation.

As a result I had to take a taxi to my bnb and contact a professional translation company. All in all this cost me an addition NZD 200 and a considerable amount of unnecessary stress.

During my previous visits zo NZ my Swiss driving license has always been accepted without any problems.

When closing the contract this issue was not expressly brought to my attention.

2) Quality of the car

When contracting a car for 6 weeks I expect to be given a relatively new car.

However the car was from 2017 and had 221,000 km on the clock. Not a new car but what I would call an old banger!

The agency is fantastic with a great welcome service. We ran into some issues while picking up the vehicle, but Sabrina was incredibly helpful.

She was extremely professional and so kind in helping us resolve everything. Such a warm and efficient experience—we highly recommend this place!

From shuttles, check in, an insurance claim and other general communication throughout the entire team was amazing to deal with and incredibly efficient. We will use Snap again.

The team at Snap Queenstown were awesome. I arrived a little early (45 minutes) but they weren’t bothered and offered to see what they could do. They walked me through my insurance options and helped me save some $$, checked what my plans were and then made sure the car I was being given had new tyres due to the conditions I was driving in.
Overall, these guys were fabulous. Awesome customer service. The car itself drove well and was clean and neat inside. A little worse for wear on the outside, but that didn’t fuss me.

Great pick up - they called me at the airport (I’d gotten lost). Quick registration and the vehicle drove like a dream - a quality and well maintained vehicle

We were made welcome from the moment we walked through the door. Polite, efficient and in no time we were off on our holidays. Great little car . Would highly recommend.
