The Seaboard is fantastic. One of the most expressive instruments I’ve ever used.
The Airwave is not. It feels underdeveloped and more like a novelty than a refined tool. Mapping it to instruments and effects is a hassle, and the tower design forces it to sit dead-center in a studio, which creates real ergonomic and screen-visibility problems.
What really killed the experience was the wait. My Airwave was delayed three separate times, and I waited over a year to receive it. Communication during that period was minimal, and getting useful responses from support was difficult.
Product marketing often appears ahead of delivery readiness. As a customer, you end up buying into timelines that don’t hold up, which makes the process feel more like a crowdfunding campaign than a purchase from an established company.
Update: This review was previously flagged as “defamatory” by ROLI when these statements simply reflect my direct experience as a customer. This is reflective of their modus operandi, IMO—
Instead of taking accountability and making changes that would please customers, they seem to ignore complaints and instead prefer to leverage platform mechanics to get negative reviews removed — Which I find to be an illegitimate tactic. Because of this unprofessional experience, I’m changing this review from 2 stars to 1.

I see others complaining about delays in shipping and I always comment it is worth the wait. I have almost every product Roli has made in the last 10 years and I love each and every one!
The Seaboard M is nothing less but a game changer.
It is literally a piece of pure inspiration.
I don't know why, but I find melodies and phrases, which don't come to me with a "normal" keyboard.
And the Synths are awesome - sound great and the controllability is very nice.
So well done.

So, Order returned to sender 1 month ago. Neither received my refund, nor any answer to my ticket request for the refund.

Roli Seaboard M delivered as promised in November. The Airwave was supposed to be delivered in January, but there is a delay. Even though their email about delay was sent after my question the response was fast and relevant. I understand it is not always easy. Especially when the date of delivering was set on two months, there is always a delay in my experience.

Great products, though they took all of the some time to get to me. Gratefully, ROLI provided a significant credit toward my next subscription as a comp.
I don't love that I have to connect my piano to my computer every time to load my preferred brightness settings, so I hope that's fixed in time.
Overall, I'm happy with both the piano (and the airwave, though I haven't had the opportunity to make the most of it yet since I don't have a tablet). The lessons and song selection on the app are also instructive and comprehensive.
I'd 88% recommend the company.
Waiting a year was the worst part and product arrived wet. It still works but wasn’t pleasant of delivery to leave outside.
I’m still waiting on a response for help after a month.

Let me start by saying that I am not one to write reviews. This is now my second for Roli in the span of 2 months, although this one isn’t an attempt to get a response from their support team. This review is a warning to anyone looking to purchase equipment.
I am beyond fed up with this company and highly advise anyone considering buying a product from them to look elsewhere. Empty promise after empty promise, too backed up with replacing faulty products because their quality assurance is apparently non-existent that it will take an additional 4 months to ship a new one when yours inevitably has an issue with the first one.
Even that would almost be forgivable if their support team would actually read what you send them. I expressed several concerns in my support ticket, none of which were ever addressed. I am returning my equipment and requesting a full refund.

Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit der Kaufentscheidung für Piano, Airwave und dem Abo zum Klavier lernen. Wollte ich schon seit Jahren. Es macht Freude, in die Welt einzutauchen. Die App ist sehr gut geeignet, um langsam und spielerisch in die Keyboard Welt einzusteigen. Die Nutzung der Gestik für Effekte ist sehr imposant, aber dazu komme ich später erst. Aktuell lerne ich das Instrument. Auch wenn es recht teuer ist und man lange warten musste: Es ist eine langjährige Beziehung 🙂

That was nearly two months ago. Two months and no one from Roli responds.
I was able to get someone from Roli to respond after leaving a terrible review on Reddit. They DM’d me for the ticket number and said someone would get in touch. Still no help and I cannot use Piano learn with it, which was the whole reason for this purchase.
I cannot suggest a Roli product.

I was a longtime ROLI admirer and first time customer once they launched the new Piano. The device itself is beautiful, sturdy, and high quality. The experience of the software and learning app combined with the device is pure magic.
As a long-since failed piano student and first time creator the included software is easy to use yet amazingly deep, and the learn app is great for both me and my 4 year old daughter. I can’t think of many other things that can accomplish all that and provide excitement for years to come.
ROLI also provided excellent customer service to boot, thanks ROLI!

I ordered a Seaboard on the 8th of December. The estimated arrival date was the 10th of December.
It's now the 6th of February. I have tried to contact the support page multiple times, no answer for weeks., Then I finally got a message on the 9th of Jan saying it will be delivered in one week.
Nothing. No Seaboard, no updates, no contact.

I have had my Roli Seaboard 2 for many months now and I love it! As a piano player, it was a little difficult to adapt to the silicone keys, but with the 5 demensional touch, it is so worth it!
Slide is choppy, surface has hot spots that register unusually high velocity
EDIT: have had multiple tickets about the velocity issue but have yet to hear back. Not sure if it's worth raising the slide thing but it would be good if they do get back to me as promised here!

The product the Roli team has produced is truly one of a kind. The way the technology integrates and gamifies the learning experience is unparalleled. Highly recommend the product to anyone wanting to learn how to play piano and I have recommended it to anyone with young children.
This is the most awful experience I’ve ever had buying online stuff. They literally don’t have customer support. Once they get your money that done.
I can’t return and no one is answering. The airwave I order in December was supposed to arrive in January but they emailed and said they can’t ship until April. I just want my money back and no one is answering.
Also regarding their app and product, I’m not even sure Piano M is available a good think to have. It’s just like other approaches of learning nothing really special

We use the app for a nonverbal child with autism. The child has limited imitation skills. He really likes music and is constantly humming something. Thanks to this app, he has made incredible progress in playing music.
The delivery was perfectly fine, despite it being the pre-Christmas period. At first, I was a little irritated that without a membership, I would hardly have the opportunity to learn to play the piano. I then paid €100 for an annual membership and am now thrilled at how little money it costs to learn to play the piano. The learning programme takes you step by step, everything is well explained and it is varied. Of course, you still have to practise ;)
