NOT A VERY GOOD COMPANY- MIGHT SEEM GOOD VALUE ON CONFUSED.COM BUT THEIR EXPENESES ARE HORRENDOUS! MY WIFE WAS CHARGED £185 FOR 20 DAYS CAR INSURANCE- WHEN SHE CANCELLED SHE WAS CHARGED £60 ADMIN FEE, £55 CANCELLATION- THE COMPANY COULDN'T FIND A SUITABLE INSURER SO WE FOUND AN INSURER FOR JUST £750 ANNUAL FEE OR £70 PCM & NOT £185 FOR 20 DAYS- IF THEY WERE A COMPATIBLE COMPANY THEY ALSO COULD HAVE LOCATED AN INSURER AVOIDING THE ADMIN & CANCELLATION FEE- DISGUSTING!!!

It is helpful to give context to this matter. Having reviewed your experience, we can confirm that the policy was cancelled due to an undisclosed claim.
When the policy was purchased online via the comparison site Confused, you disclosed two claims on the policy. Also, during the subsequent validation call with your husband, who had authorisation to speak on your behalf, it was confirmed that there were no further claims. At this point, your documents were issued and we requested proof of No Claims Bonus (NCB), which you supplied. However, on receipt of your proof of No Claims Bonus, details of an additional claim came to light. As a result, it meant that we had to update your policy with your insurer and they were unable to continue cover. As a result, the policy was cancelled. Had your policy been allowed to continue unaltered, you could have faced serious problems in the event of needing to make a claim.
Your policy was cancelled in line with our Terms of Business. When you bought your policy, you agreed to our Terms of Business and confirmed this by ticking a box. The terms state there is a cancellation fee of £25 if you cancel within 14 days, or £55 if you cancel after 14 days. There is also a £60 arrangement fee. All fees are non-refundable. Any fees we charge are in place to cover costs we incur in setting and administering policies, we keep these as low as possible and only apply them to cover genuine costs. You are also charged for any time that the insurance has been in place.

Your documents are usually emailed to you the next business day after purchase. Please note that we require proof of No Claims Bonus (NCB) to validate your discount, as we don't have access to the Motor Insurers' Bureau's no-claims discount database.

Very competitive renewal quote and excellent staff.
The price for the renewal was very competitive and for once the price was not automatically increased which has been the case with each of the other motor insurer's in the past. It was easy to renew although you have to do it by phone as opposed to online but it was quick and easy and the people were very helpful and polite.
