Wir haben einen wunderschönen Urlaub in Gordes verbracht. Der sehr gute Service und die hohe Kundenorientierung haben wir von der Buchung bis hin zum auschecken erlebt.
Der Aufenthalt in der gebuchten Villa war sehr erholsam und wir haben mit unseren zwei Hunden einen rundum gelungenen Urlaub verbracht. Danke auch an Audrey für die sehr nette Betreuung vor Ort.

Our family of 5 adults had a wonderful stay at Maison Zephyr (aka Villa Paradou) The view was stellar and the accommodations were wonderful. Nice rooms and plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen was well equipped although small but we were still able to make some memorable meals. The only drawback was the property remote gate was very temperamental !!

Mas Provence in Cabrieres de l'Avignon could not have been better, such a beautiful home with the most amazing pool in a lovely village, very close to Gordes and other beautiful places.

The villa is perfect for a small group of people (2-4). The garden is very large and the pool is beautiful and heated.We enjoyed the quiet place and the short distance to the village.
Unfortunately the furniture on terrace was not very comfortable and there was no parasol.
The fence around the garden is just good for wild pigs but dogs can escape.

Mas de Ménerbes is a beautiful tastefully restored property. There are excellent facilities including a very practical outdoor kitchen and choice of dining areas. The pool is very relaxing and secure, very important if you travel with small children as we did. There are games to play in the spacious garden. The hosts are wonderful, welcoming and generous. They speak excellent English and we found their advice on restaurants, places to visit invaluable. I cannot recommend this property highly enough and our only regret was that we had to leave.

The home we rented was beautiful and well equiped with everything we needed. However, what made our experience special and memorable was the concierge service. Bravo to Steffie and Anais for making our vacation wonderful. Steffie, thank you for organizing our cooking class, wine tour, bike tour & birthday dinner with the chefs at home as well as our transfers. We ate at wonderful (some Michelin) restaurants almost each evening, but our favorite meal was prepared by Charlene & Coralie. It was a birthday meal that my husband & my family will always remember...delicious food prepared by talented and lovely chefs. Merci Charlene & Coralie! Our cooking class was a highlight of the vacation. Chef Gerald was great! He was patient, gave us detailed instruction and shared wonderful information all while being charming & funny. He welcomed us into his home for a memorable lunch & fantastic cooking experience. Will done Gerald! Our son & his girlfriend very much enjoyed their bike ride with Guillaume. After visiting Fontaine-de-Vaucluse on the ride, they encouraged the rest of the family to visit. We were all happy that we added the area to our agenda. Thank you Guillaume! Celine Viany our wine tour guide & Sommelier was incredibly knowledgeable. She was very interesting & we learned a great deal from her. She was as sweet and fun as she was informative. Carol, our house manager was also extremely helpful. Whenever we had a question or ran into a snag (had trouble with the lights for a short bit), Carol responded to our texts immediately & helped to easily resolve the problem. She also gave great advice about shopping, parking, site seeing, local bakeries, etc. Merci beaucoup Carol. Lastly, thank you Steffie & Anais for arranging our transfers. The Black Roads drivers were all very professional and always timely. When our flight was delayed, Black Road quickly accommodated our changes. I know you would like for me to give you information that would have improved our experience, but I honestly don't have any suggestions. Our week in Provence was truly a perfectly, wonderful experience We are very grateful to everyone at Provence Holidays who helped to make it a memorable vacation. Bravo to all! Nous avons séjourné en famille avec deux bébés dans le Mas de La Source.
Tout était parfait et de très bon goût. Il ne manquait rien et les équipes ont vraiment pris soin de nous.
Je recommande vivement cette propriété.

3 generations of my family and friends have just returned from Escapade en Luberon and while we had many positive experiences there are also significant points to note.
PH market their properties as luxury and prestige which I guess can mean different things to different people. The outside of the house was great, a beautiful pool with wonderful views. However the interior was more challenging:
The kitchen was very small and there were literally no empty cupboards in which to put a supermarket shop for 9 adults. Cooking for my family which is one of my favourite things in Provence was frustrating to say the least.
All the cupboards and surfaces were stuffed with all manner of 'broccantes'.
The downstairs bedroom which I thought would be perfect for my parents was very small with no room for adequate bedside tables or cupboards, there was a built in wardrobe with a very high up shelf and so they lived out of suitcases on the floor. There was a tiny ensuite shower room which regularly overflowed onto the floor because the shower tray was flat.
Upstairs 2 bedrooms shared a minute shower room, not enough room to accommodate 4 adults, little or no space to put toiletries.

PH were efficient and attentive in response to my disappointment, they offered to clear out some of the cupboards and stack it elsewhere, but at that point we were 2 days into our week and we had done it ourselves. Bizarrely it was suggested that I should have asked them if the kitchen was suitable to cook in!?
They arranged a half case of champagne and offered us a 5% discount if we used them again, but ultimately I believe they will continue to market the house as prestige and appropriate for 10 adults.
In spite of these issues taking up time and emotion, we managed to enjoy all being together.

Das Haus ist sehr hochwertig und komplett ausgestattet. Die Bäder sind modern, sehr sauber und teilweise auch groß. Das Poolhaus wurde von uns die gesamte Urlaubszeit als wunderschöner, gemütlicher Aufenthaltsraum und perfekte Küche genutzt. Trotzdem gibt es noch eine zweite hochwertige Küche im Wohnhaus.
Das Grundstück ist sehr groß und gepflegt.
Fazit: Ein wunderschönes Anwesen mit hochwertiger und geschmackvoller Ausstattung.
Wir waren schon zweimal dort.

Provence Holidays was very good to work with. The villa we rented from them was outstanding. They were helpful in all respects, and we would work with them again.

The house was beautiful - pretty as a postcard - with a gorgeous pool and extremely well-equipped pool house, and an enormous lawn which made us feel like we were far from the city center when in fact we were across the street from a fantastic supermarket and a 10 minute walk from pretty much every restaurant in Saint Remy. The location is incredible.
Inside, the house is beautiful - comfortable beds, beautiful bedding, a great kitchen with everything we could ask for and a lot more than that. Lots of space, a comfortable living room, everything air conditioned. It was pretty close to heaven and none of us wanted to leave. The owner was incredibly helpful - answered lots of questions for us and even printed a visa one of us needed to travel! We can’t recommend this Mas highly enough and hope one day we can return.

Das Anwesen, die Ausstattung und der Service waren sehr gut und haben unseren Erwartungen entsprochen.

Allerdings wurde unser Urlaub massiv durch einen Eichelhäher gestört, der auf dem Grundstück lebt und uns massiv angegriffen hat. Der Vogel war permanent jeden Tag auf dem Grundstück und hat sowohl uns Erwachsene als auch unsere Kinder angegriffen. Zweimal sogar mit blutiger Kopfverletzung. Zu unserem Ärgernis wurde uns berichtet, dass der Vogel vor Jahren angefüttert wurde und seitdem dieses Gehabe an den Tag legt. Als Gast finden wir dies absolut inakzeptabel. Vor allem, wenn man sich im Urlaub überwiegend auf dem Anwesen aufhält und den Pool nutzen möchte, ist ein Terror-Vogel dieser Art (menschengemacht) unmöglich.

Unser Urlaub wurde durch dieses Vogel definitiv in Mitleidenschaft gezogen, auch wenn das Anwesen für sich 5 Sterne wären, aber der Vogel geht gar nicht!

Great experience from start to finish. Company answered any questions I had ahead of booking and booking process was easy (would have ideally been able to pay with a credit card!). Communication throughout was easy and the house was fabulous.

The Villa was beautiful, perfect for a family trip away. It was perfectly positioned to walk into the local village and exploring other villages and vineyards all within 30/40mins. We have fallen in love with Provence and would definitely use Provence Villas again, the service and support were exceptional.

The Villa Secrete is outstanding. The gardens around it are beautiful and La Garde Freinet close by is a lovely French small town. Our family gathered for an 80th birthday celebration and the Villa and grounds had activities to keep everyone from 15 to 80 happy! The kitchen is very well equipped and the varied outdoor areas provide numerous sun, shade and eating options. The bedroom air conditioning is good. The owners were very helpful prior to our arrival and the staff they employ to maintain the property were easy to contact and prompt to respond while we were there. Highly recommended.

Both the house and the grounds are great. When we arrived we were very kindly welcomed by Valérie Pailloux, the concierge for the house. The house was meticulously cleaned, which was highly appreciated by my wife ;-).

The swimming pool with the beds is well located in the garden, with privacy but also partly in view, which is good when travelling with children. The swimming pool is not heated and I would recommend that heating would be included standard. We travelled mid May and the water temperature was only for the brave.

We know the Luberon region quite well and whenever we go there we enjoy the well-known, but we also always manage to find something new. Nothing spectacular but always interesting.

A special mention for the fact that there is a five star hotel with two restaurants (one with 1 Michelin star) quite nearby, without any noise or anything else to bother you. Only an easy 3 minute walk so we enjoyed an easy but good lunch there twice. For us this was definitely a bonus.

To indicate how much we appreciated our stay I can tell you that we have booked another week next year right away.

Finally, we are very appreciative of the good service from Provence Holidays and our concierge Valérie Pailloux. Clear, timely and concise communication. One tip for PH: refrain from sending regular reminders for the final payment after the initial payment when that is only due after several months. I found that a little annoying. Other than that we are very happy with the service and the fact that the painted picture of the residence and the garden in the descriptions was spot on.

We had a wonderful holiday in the south of France staying in a beautiful villa provided by Provence Holidays. Their staff especially Anais, Aurore and Severine are all very professional and helpful and also Cyril from the transfer company, his drivers were again very helpful and efficient and nothing was too much trouble.
