Excellent Vehicle, Room for Improvement on Charger Installation
Overall, the application process with NHS Fleet Solutions was straightforward and processed quickly. The main delay was waiting for the car to arrive, but it was definitely worth the wait.
Unfortunately, the experience of arranging the home charging unit was much less positive and became quite stressful. We saw a number of different engineers throughout the process, and there were several issues along the way. We were initially told through the portal that we couldn't have a charger fitted in our garage, despite living in a new-build property where several neighbours already have chargers installed. We were later informed that this advice was incorrect, as the property had not actually been assessed.
Further delays occurred when an engineer attended without the correct parts required for the installation. There was then a wait for the parts to be sourced and the work completed, which added unnecessary stress and frustration to the overall process.
That said, I would like to recognise the final engineer who visited. He was excellent—he fitted the remaining part promptly and took the time to help me set up and understand the app, ensuring everything was working correctly before he left. His professionalism, patience and helpful approach made a huge difference and turned what had been a frustrating experience into a much more positive one.
While I'm very happy with the vehicle and found the lease application process efficient, I believe the communication and coordination around the charging unit installation could be improved. Better organisation from the outset would have made the experience far smoother. However, thanks to the excellent support from the final engineer, everything is now working well and I'm delighted with the car.

Good outfit that could be great with better communication and follow up.
Your telephone agents are swamped, getting through is extremely difficult, but the staff are helpful and personable once you get to speak to one, needs investment. You failed to notify OHME and getting that addressed is a work in progress, you acknowledged my email but 4 days later and OHME still say they haven't been contacted? I think your a victim of your own success, you have too much going on for the amount of staff and resources you are operating with, a bit of investment and restructuring would improve customer satisfaction enormously, your doing a good job and have a successful concept, but it could be a great operation with a bit of attention to detail.

There was no communication throughout…
There was no communication throughout my wait for my car. I waited nearly 9 months for my car! My estimated date was 5 months which i was happy to wait, however when it got closer to the date I requested an up to date delivery date, only for it to be changed again to the end of the same month. Upon this date i requested a further date to which the date had changed again! The date changed several times to beginning of February to the end of February to the beginning of May to the end of May, to the beginning of June, then to the end of June, then changed again to mid June. By this time I thought I would never get the car as the date had changed so many times, and only when I requested I was updated.
I have however now received the car and I am very happy with it. Although the communication needs to improve. This really wasn't acceptable.

Very poor experience
Unfortunately, my experience with NHS Fleet Solutions has been extremely disappointing.
After waiting around eight months for a replacement vehicle, the order was cancelled because the manufacturer changed the available colour. Rather than contacting me to discuss alternative options or simply changing the colour on the order, the vehicle was cancelled altogether. Having since spoken with other leasing providers, I understand that exploring alternatives with the customer would generally be expected in this situation.
Communication throughout the process was poor, and customer service deteriorated further towards the end of my lease. To add to the frustration, I submitted a formal complaint but have received no meaningful response.
The lease pricing itself is competitive, but good value means little when the customer experience is this poor. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend NHS Fleet Solutions and would encourage others to consider alternative leasing providers.

It was a stress free purchase , from getting the code to approval. I was kept informed about my order. It arrived on time and I was supper thrilled .

Really easy process of ordering the car with minimal effort. So much better than having to negotiate car sales
I have recently taken ownership of an Omoda E5
I have recently taken ownership of a vehicle and prior to it being available I have not had good communication (Even after requesting dealer updates frequently).
I was originally given a price for a vehicle which I accepted and really wanted this vehicle and was then told that the price was wrong and they would have to take all the vehicles of that make off the list (which they did immediately). I thought once I'd accepted the offer this would be honoured but I was wrong.
I ended up accepting a different vehicle for slightly higher price which really annoyed me as I am now paying more for a car I originally didn't want. I then had to wait 6 months for the vehicle and stopped receiving updates from the dealership when requesting an update.
Following directly emailing a person at the dealership, they informed me after a week or two that the person that was looking after my order no longer worked for the company and no one was looking at my order anymore. Again, this really annoyed me why the order couln't have been handed to someone else to look at and keep me informed.
The information about the day of delivery was poor. I took a day off work thinking the vehicle would be delivered in the morning or at least early afternoon (as I replied instantly to a first come first serve basis) but was contacted at 12:30 by the delivery driver (who was very polite and apologetic) to say he was on his way to collect my car but was an hour away from leaving and then had a 4 and a half hour drive to get to me. This meant I could have gone to work and been home in time and therefore not using a day up which I will need for childcare during holidays etc. I will say it is not the fault of the delivery driver who got 2 jobs that day but the amount of travel he had to do just for mine was an all day job in itself.
I am however, happy with the car now that I have eventually got it but would have prefered my first option that I agreed to but got told that that quotation was wrong (not my fault but also not honoured in this instance).
A frustrated customer to say the least.
