I'd give it zero stars if I could
I'd give it zero stars if I could. Avoid at all costs. Once they receive the full payment of your pram they delay your delivery date and only offer you a car seat. I'm still chasing a refund and been told by the Leeds store that I can only have a refund after my due date. I'm due to give birth in a few weeks and I have no travel system.
The communication is poor and they never answer the phones.
I was told my travel system is due in by the middle of September but after contacting Ickle Bubba they are out of stock until the middle of October which is way past my due date.
Avoid the stress and order directly from the supplier.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. We are genuinely sorry that the delay to your order has caused you frustration, particularly with your due date approaching. We completely understand how important it is to have your pram ready in good time, and we appreciate that this is an understandably stressful situation.
We would, however, like to clarify a few points for transparency.
At the time your order was placed, you were provided with an estimated collection date of 1st September. We were subsequently informed by the manufacturer of an unexpected delay affecting the availability of the items in your order, with the stock now anticipated to arrive around mid-September. As soon as we were made aware of this revised timescale, we contacted you directly to explain the situation.
We appreciate that this is disappointing and frustrating, but the delay is due to the manufacturer and is outside of our direct control. Based on the information currently provided to us by the manufacturer, we have no reason at this time to expect a further delay beyond mid-September, although, as with any manufacturer delivery date, we cannot guarantee circumstances outside of our control.
We would also like to clarify the comments regarding your refund. During our conversation today, you raised the question of cancelling your order and receiving a refund. We explained that our terms and conditions set out the circumstances in which a refund can be approved, including where a baby has been born and the order has still not been provided. We also explained that a refund request outside of those circumstances can still be made, but would need to be referred to management for review and approval.
Your request for a refund has therefore not been refused. It has been acknowledged and explained to you, and it is now subject to the appropriate management review process.
For clarity, the refund request mentioned in the review was first raised with us during our conversation today, following our notification of the manufacturer's revised delivery timescale. We appreciate that the wording "still fighting for a refund" may reflect how the situation feels from your perspective; however, the request has been acknowledged and the relevant process has been explained to you.
We would also like to address the comment regarding "zero communication". We contacted you as soon as we received confirmation of the manufacturer's delay and have spoken with you directly regarding both the revised delivery timescale and your refund request.
We completely understand that this is not the outcome you were hoping for, and we are genuinely sorry for the additional worry this delay has caused. We remain committed to assisting you and will provide further updates as soon as we receive them from the manufacturer.

Ordered a couple of items and one arrived quickly, the other item took a little longer to arrive as it came from the manufacturer.
A discrepancy about a free item was quickly sorted out and communication with Newbie was excellent.

Causes stress and they lack Communication skills
The first visit to Newbie and me was brilliant, we were in the Crewe store for about 2 hours testing all the different prams. The staff were lovely offering their help and talking us through each pram we were looked at. We chose our pram and paid our deposit the same day 6 months before our baby was due and were told we would be able to pick the pram up the month before said due date. When the date was approaching we contacted the store to see when we would be able to pick up our travel system and were advised it was being delivered and would be here by the date they had given all them months ago. Fast forward to after this date and we had received no communication from the store so again contacted them and were advised that it had not been delivered and they were unsure when it would be. Time was going on and we still were unsure when we would be picking up our travel system and as you can imagine being pregnant and not having the thing you need most to leave the hospital is stressful. We were constantly ringing asking for updates and receiving no new information. We spoke to the team about what would happen if the baby came early and they said that if we had a date they could look to see what they could do, this is not always something that is planned. We rang again 3 weeks before the due date and were told they had a car seat available but it was not the colour we ordered and that the colour we ordered would be delivered soon however again did not know when. We declined their offer to take this as it was not what we ordered. We were told that the pram was to be delivered on a certain day, again we received no contact from them and had to ring ourselves (they are also very hard to get hold of) to be told that the pram was now at the store and we could pick it up but the car seat was still not there but we could have the other colour. We went to pick it up the same day and decided to take the colour we did not want as It was getting far too close to my due date, and thankfully we did as I gave birth the following day, 9 days before I was due. We did notice that a name sticker had been ripped off, this made it look like it was initially for someone else and we had been parred off with it as the team were aware we were very close to the end of pregnancy. At this point we were still missing an isofix base, they said they’d let us know when it had arrived and we could either pick it up or they would send it out, our new address was given and we asked if this could be sent out as we’d travelled to the shop on multiple occasions to pick up parts of our travel system. Again, we had to contact them to find out it had now been delivered to themselves and they again asked if we would like to pick it up or for it to delivered, we again asked for this to be delivered. We were given a time frame as to when this would arrive, after a week of still not receiving the item, we called again where they said the courier had cancelled the collection and they would get it delivered on the next collection. Since we have received a call from the driver saying they are at the address, the incorrect address after we had given the team our new address. Overall, I wouldn’t use again, caused lots of stress while being pregnant, communication from them is so poor and you have to do all the chasing.

We sincerely apologise for the delays and the lack of communication. Unfortunately, our supplier has been faced with multiple shipment delays, which impacted the availability of your travel system and caused further complications with the delivery of the remaining items.
We’re also sorry that the wrong delivery address was used for the isofix base and for the additional inconvenience this caused. This is certainly not the level of service we aim to provide; we have discussed this internally with the team involved to ensure this does not happen again.
We’re pleased that you were ultimately able to take the car seat home before your baby arrived, but we appreciate that this should not have involved the stress and uncertainty you experienced. We have shared your feedback with the store team so we can review what happened and improve both our communication and handling of supplier delays.

Very impressed with the service, staff members were very helpful and answered all questions we had, didn’t rush us to buy anything and demonstrated multiple pushchairs happily. We did end up buying a full bundle as very reasonably priced and was very satisfied with the customer service, would highly recommend

Car seat ordered via website not dispatched on time
I ordered a car seat via the website. 2 weeks passed and no progress. Only after several emails and phone calls to the store (online phone number never picks up calls) did my order eventually get shipped to me. Item showed up seemingly in good condition and with all the bits.
I shouldn't have to work this hard for my order to be fulfilled.

I ordered a Silver Cross Family Bundle in January for a mid-May delivery. What followed was three months of stress, broken promises, and incomplete items, culminating in the store completely ghosting me.The Key Issues:Failed Deliveries: The travel system arrived just two days before my due date after weeks of desperate chasing.Missing Items: When it finally arrived, staff failed to hand over the car seat, and the carrycot stand was missing entirely. I was left without essential safety gear for my newborn.Disgraceful Management: When I requested a refund while heavily pregnant so I could buy a car seat elsewhere, the store manager (Scott) refused. He claimed refunds are only valid for 14 days after purchase, completely ignoring consumer rights regarding undelivered goods. He showed zero compassion for the situation.Terrible Service: The store eventually sent the missing items, but they were lost by DPD. Instead of fixing their mistake, the store made me chase the courier.Zero Communication: My baby is now outgrowing the need for the carrycot stand. I requested a refund for the items I never received, and the store has now completely stopped responding to my emails and calls.They have taken my money and left me without a car seat and a carrycot stand. Save yourself the extreme stress, especially if you are expecting a baby. Avoid this store at all costs—they will take your money and abandon you when things go wrong.

The car seat referred to in your review is the next-stage car seat. Your Silver Cross Glide car seat, which is suitable from birth, was supplied previously.
The carrycot stand was dispatched but unfortunately became lost within the DPD network. While we appreciate how frustrating this has been, this was outside of Newbie & Me's direct control. Nevertheless, the store manager, personally worked to resolve the matter and the refund for the carrycot stand has now been completed following DPD's investigation.
We have also reviewed the emails and correspondence relating to your order and cannot find any record of a refusal to provide a refund as stated in your review. We also have no record of advising that refunds are limited to 14 days; this does not reflect our store policy.
We can therefore confirm that both issues raised in your review have now been resolved — the carrycot stand has been refunded and the final next-stage car seat has been collected by your family member.
We are sorry for the frustration caused and hope this clarification provides a more accurate reflection of the situation and the steps taken by our team to resolve it.
Fantastic experince with Olivia at Crewe branch
We very lucky to have Olivia help us today at the Crewe store. Olivia was fantastic at understanding the pram features we would need to suit our lifestyle. Olivia showed us a great range of prams and was extremely knowledgeable about all the features of every pram. She also provided excellent demonstrations and gave us lots of time to practise assembling the various prams and understand the features.
A nice feature of the Crewe store is they have a cobbled path that you can push the pram over to see how it would cope on uneven terrain. This was really helpful as gave us a real idea on how the pram will move and feel when out and about.
I am very glad I took the time to find a pram that will suit us, feels comfortable and has features that are important to us. I also feel we have managed to invest in a pram that will last longer and suit our needs long term. If we had just ordered a pram online I doubt we would have made such a good choice.
Finally, Olivia explained that they are happy to set the pram up for you in store and that if any problems occur we can easily get in touch for support. Again, we wouldn't have had this if we had ordered online.
