Hotel not up to scratch
We have been with National several times before so when we arrived at Folkestone we were very disappointed with the hotel. It was mad; too large, too noisy, impersonal and not very clean.
Everything else was great. The coach and driver were excellent as were the trips out.

The coach driver Kamal was very good
The coach driver Kamal was very good, even though he wasn't our original driver. It was also very funny. Will definitely book another holiday, maybe even go abroad.

The hotel bar closed at 9:30pm there…
The hotel bar closed at 9:30pm there was no lounge to sit and relax The bus journey of 22 hrs from Newcastle was too long would be better with an overnight stay I wasn’t happy about 1 driver our tour rep was lovely but the bus driver was surly The resort was spot on and had no complains I don’t rate the hotel the shower was over a high bath with no hand grips this was dangerous for elderly clientele I felt we were forced to go to bed at 9:30 until we found out after 3 days we could use the back door to the hotel with a spare key we had on our fob Nesta our rep was not informed of this ( as she stood in for another rep at short notice)

Driver Ken was a breath of fresh air, funny but at same time mindful of his passengers and safety of everyone on the coach. Very good time keeper and kept passengers fully updated on information throughout the day. Excursions were good, enjoyed them.
Hotel was nice, clean/comfortable bed and our bathroom had recently been upgraded. Hotel is slowly being refurbished where required. Pleasantly surprised after reading the reviews. Staff at reception nice and accommodating. Meals were buffet, plenty of choice and hot. Have booked another break and would recommend National Holidays.

Good value for money trip to London
Good value for money trip to London. Plenty of time to take in a matinee show and get something to eat before onward travel to hotel. Comfortable and clean room/bed. Lovely breakfast. Included activity on day of return (afternoon tea). Lots of walking but we enjoy that. Will do this trip again.

Well organised trip
Very well organised, everything went according to plan. We saw the Queen’s ‘Life in Style’ exhibition which we really enjoyed. There was a lot of travelling into and out of London and we found that we had too much time on the Saturday before we could board the coach for the hotel, that is why I dropped a star. Otherwise everything was great - clean coach, friendly driver, good hotel.

Lovely Yorkshire eventually
We had a great time but the travelling was so long..picked up at 6.00am arrived at Skipton at just after 1pm....it would have been better just picking up just people in the west midlands and then straight to Skipton but we went Dudley Walsall Stafford one I've forgot Stockport Manchester Bolton Skipton...7hrs we only had a few hours on Skipton before we were picked up to go to our hotel. Also a bit misleading saying river cruise it was the Leeds & Liverpool canal

Bus and journey good
Bus and journey good. Friendly driver who gave lots of refreshment stops and very knowledgeable of the areas we were visiting.
The reason for the low score was because of the hotel in Aberdeen. Although my expectations weren’t that high knowing Britannia are a budget hotel chain, I was extremely shocked at the room we stayed in. The bed looked a mess. First night couldn’t sleep because of the springs in the mattress so second night had to put the duvet from the single bed in top of the mattress. All in all the food was rubbish and the hotel needs demolishing. The hotel in Edinburgh was as I expected from a budget hotel but at least the room and bed were comfortable and the food much improved.
