No manners in response to application
I've just completed the online application form to get a quote for my 2 dogs.at the end of which all I got was a "sorry we are unable to insure your dogs". No explanation as to why. How hard can it be to give a reason? Very poor response. My dogs are aged 12 and 13. Two small terriers not banned breed and only one claim each over 13 years. I'm guessing computer saw ages and said NO. But would be nice to know why. All the insurance companies i've used in all those years will have made profit from me - including the company who paid the one claim. I paid out more than received every year.

I have been with Napo for several years now and have always had a smooth experience, but their support during a recent health scare with my cat was truly exceptional.
My cat became quite ill, and I ended up spending nearly £2,500 on various diagnostic tests and treatments. Dealing with a sick pet is stressful enough without having to worry about the financial burden, but Napo made the entire process seamless.
I was honestly shocked by how quickly the claim was approved. After years of being a loyal customer, it is so reassuring to know that they truly have your back when you need them most. I cannot recommend them highly enough for any pet owner looking for reliable, fast, and supportive insurance.
Amazing service
The call was so helpful, and it being available 24/7 is incredible. If you have any worries and your vets are closed, you can get it confirmed if you need to pay for an emergency vet or not and then if you don't need to, it saves having to spend all that money which isn't easy when it's not planned and it just puts your mind at ease. I know if I didn't have this call, I wouldn't have slept well worrying about my little baby but with this call, it took that worry and stress away.

We were so worried about claiming and whether it would be paid. Once the claim was submitted I was advised it may be upto 2 wks. Less than 2 hrs later the claim was approved!

I work closely with insurers on behalf of pet owners at the clinic, so I regularly deal with claims, policies, and the people who support them. Over the years, I’ve had a wide range of experiences but I can confidently say that the service Nikhil provided stands out as the best I have encountered in the industry.

Disaster of a company
Disaster of a company, the increases they impose annually are insane. My cat is 3 years old, they increase by over 24% every single year and now I’m paying over £100 a month just to insure my cat& if I move he won’t be covered for any issues he has in the future for UTIs - absolutely criminal. I asked for a more competitive price & they suggested I should downgrade my cover so I’m not covered for as much but this would only save £10 a month which is another joke

Had a free 10min call with the vet and she was very friendly and helpful, told us how to change our dog's diet. Problem solved.
Peace of mind
We weren't sure if my dog needed to go to the animal clinic out of hours. I was able to speak with a vet via FirstVet within half an hour. It was such a relief to be able to get feedback from a vet which gave me confidence to make a decision. Knowing that I can get help from a vet anytime with no limits really does bring peace of mind. It's great that it's included with the insurance .
