I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by your company. The salesperson assured me that refunds would be available, but when I requested one, I was informed that it wasn't possible. This misleading information was incredibly frustrating and led to a lack of trust.
Additionally, I encountered rude and unhelpful customer service throughout my experience. When I had issues, no one seemed willing to offer assistance. The trainer, who was supposed to be involved in the process, was nonexistent—my only communication came via email, which was far from adequate.
To make matters worse, I explicitly mentioned that I am from NSW, and yet, I received workbooks for VIC, which is completely unacceptable. How is it possible to learn effectively when the materials are entirely irrelevant to my location? This is a major oversight and has made my learning experience even more difficult.
I sincerely hope that you take these issues seriously, as this type of service and lack of support reflects poorly on your company.

Monarch trainers have been so supportive and approachable. The modules and assessments are very well thought of and organised!

Most part was good, there was a few errors and course never matched learning material in areas.
Some markings were not correctly marked especially on last assessment.

I have recently completed the Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management, and overall, it was a valuable experience. The portal provides valuable and downloadable material, and I believe the course to be well structured. The interactive elements, including the quizzes and case studies are engaging and help with "real life situations".
The instructors are knowledgeable and provide helpful insights on the materials.
One downside was the lack of personalised feedbacks, the course relied on "automated grading" which not always captured the nuances of more complex responses.
Overall, it was a great experience and I will be recommending Monarch Institute to friends and colleagues.

I would like to share my positive study experience with the Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping. The course offers great flexibility, which has been invaluable, and the online learning materials are well-structured and easy to follow. I enjoyed mostly learning about the loan process and the requirements involved with a successful loan application. It's quite detailed in terms of all the information with complying with different laws and regulations and the responsibilities of a mortgage broker to many parties. A lot of the content provided was really interesting.
From my experience I felt Monarch was really professional in making the learning easier to understand, if you had any questions. My dealings were great, I often asked questions via email or sometimes spoke over the phone. They were very generous with their time to allow me to understand the course. When I submitted an assignment, it was mostly marked and emailed within 24 hours or a lot quicker sometimes. If you provide an incorrect answer, they will help with a clue or point you in the right direction to fix up for a re-submission.
Let me start by saying to begin this course I was very inexperienced on computers. There were a lot of practical videos that were involved to complete. I had very little experience on uploading lengthy videos. If I had a 10-minute video I would do in 2 parts as my computer would not upload lengthy videos.
My method:
1. After using your camera from Apple phone to record video, the video should be in your iCloud on your computer (provided you have iCloud, I got it during the course).
2. On your computer use a video converter (i.e. Freemake Video Converter) to compress your video to MP4 format.
- Click - Freemake Video Converter
- Click - video (choose your video)
- Click - Open
- Click - To MP4
- Click - Convert
3. Right click on your video ... - Compress to... > ZIP File
By doing this it will help compress the video to upload for submission, this is very handy to know.
- Being a novice to begin on doing this, I feel Monarch should do a video to help people unfamiliar with computers or video converting to make the process easier to understand and a lot less frustrating when learning what to do.
In saying that, they had very helpful videos for other important modules on the course, that were very useful.
Overall, Monarch Institute was 5 stars as I felt the content and insightful knowledge of people working behind the scenes provided this experience. They were always friendly and more than happy to have a chat and help you learn and succeed.

The trainers are amazing and very helpful. I can not express how helpful and engaging they are. The course itself is available at your own speed. The expectation of 100% for assignments and tests is far reached but in saying this you do get more than one attempt. The role plays got easier with time, but it is difficult to find a person to aid you in these, that fits in with your schedule. The resources are outdated but in this financial industry the regulations change constantly and there are allowances within the course for this. The Facebook group is of no help, personally I just got hassled by others in different stages and felt it was a waste of time. The trainers are so wonderful to answer questions and review text, so I learned to ask them for assistance. No need to purchase the books, I completed the entire course with the digital version and am an old school textbook person. Once the course was completed, I was saddened to discover you receive a digital certificate only. The sales and marketing team have only asked me for a review, my expectation was that they would have offered further education with Monach, or a "try this course next" very disappointing. So now I am looking elsewhere for further education.

Fantastic Diploma of Project Management course. This is the full course, it is very well written, very well presented and has fantastic support from the course creator and trainers. It is extremely thorough with a lot of content and in depth assignments, I feel well prepared and happy I chose this course.

I had a great experience at Monarch Institute. The course was flexible, easy to follow, and the trainers were very supportive.

I am currently studying Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking. I have found the content and course structure very good and the online support fantastic.

I enrolled in Cert IV of Accounting and Bookkeeping to qualify myself for skills I already had. I compared online courses and face to face isn’t available in my area. I went with Monarch as they promoted monthly student reviews and appeared to be a well run course.

I am a Techy and have been a Teacher. I have been working reception/ admin and providing accounts support and wanted to change jobs or start up my own business as a bookkeeper.

I have completed a Software Development Degree online and do a fair bit of free online learning when I have a need.

I smashed out most of the course within 12 months pushing through the inconsistancies and badly structured assessments but life changed and my goals changed so the stress of pushing through to get the qualification no longer became worth it.

While the study materials are pretty good the assessments were shockingly constructed. They jumped around concepts. Some looked like slapped together from different assessments thrown together.

Email support was particularly bad where often they couldn’t understand the question or shown no understanding of the subject or the assessment. Very much felt like they were running from script rather than knowledge.

I communicated errors, badly worded questions, inconsistencies and my frustrations many times.

I personally find it horrific that a course in a field that requires consistency and logic is not actually run with either of these qualities.

I applied for a diploma in HR Management and was declined due to not having enough experience to enter the Diploma.

I emailed and followed up with a phone call a week later, kindly asking to be re-reviewed. I was met by a very sassy woman, telling me how much of an inconvenience it is and to allow another 5 business days for a response. I think it is a fair question to ask? Especially as I am currently onboarding and managing a roster of 300 people, reporting to management for efficient workforce planning, payroll, letters of offer, employment contracts and also have been responsible for rumination rewards, performance reviews, performance development, and providing strategic workforce & policy planning within my Ministers my office.

The trainer, re-reviewed my resume and said that my previous jobs are all admin based and the diploma is a level up from admin. That makes absolutely no sense.. You have school leavers who are able to enroll in university DEGREES straight out of high school, but myself, an adult learner, who has 6 years of relevant experience was declined to enroll in a Diploma..? Not to mention I have a friend currently enrolled in the course who does the same job as me and was accepted? It seems like they have no criteria of who is accepted or who is not, and depends on the mood of the staff of the day.

I have since applied with the College for Adult Learning and have had a polar opposite positive experience. I had a Learning Consultant phone and discuss my current role and experience, she guided me to enroll in an Advanced Diploma in Human Resources Management, which is a level up from the Diploma I applied for with Monarch.

Both companies are AHRI-Accredited so if you are unsure with who to enroll with, definitely go with the College for Adult Learning.

I didn't even bother replying to the email trying to justify my experience... I will take my money elsewhere.

My experience with Monarch Institute was excellent. The course perfectly suited my need to study at my own pace and convenience. Trainers and staff were really responsive and helpful.

Once I focused on the studies, it seemed to just flow.
