My order Order #917589 has not been delivered. I was informed by DHL that the packaged was returned at the request of the seller. I sent an email asking the seller to send it to my Hungarian address but I have not received any reply.

I am extremely disappointed as this is not the first case MoD ignores me as a customer.

If I could make it zero stars I would. SCAM SCAM SCAM!!! Backed through Indiegogo in May - 5 masks & 50 extra filters - Have received nothing. No communication from support going on a month now.

Donated to the campaign 4/30/20 and still have not received my order. I have emailed the owner three times, and never received an answer. Occasional general messages to all who donated about updates stated the shipping was being pushed back farther and farther. I finally reported the lack of communication to the customer service at Indiegogo. Do not order from this company. You will not receive your products.

Shipping charges were ridiculous for parts that should have been included with my original Kickstarter order. The parts weighed less than 2 ounces and the shipping was over $18 -- more than the parts cost. Had to order or the mask was totally useless. So disappointed with this company.

This mask makes me feel much safer than not wearing it. I did modify the straps to only one. And I agree with many that the fit around the nose should be better: when I drive with glasses on, I have to hold the nose-portion of the mask to my face to keep from fogging my glasses.

I ordered some spare parts for my mask. These were supplied swiftly and efficiently. No complaints here!

All the stuff you need for a perfect fit you have to pay extra.
I consider it as a disgrace if, to pay enourmous amount for delivery.
Big cardboard for very small flat item, which fits easily into an envelope.
It's absolutely ridiculous to produce so much waste.
Think about it.

So, overall the long story short. Ordered 2 masks+500 filters. Masks were dispatched immediately, but with no filters. Reached the Support team, in one month time the situation was successfully rectified - I have got the filters and a present from the team.

As for the product itself - I am using the prodcut from the very beginning of the Kickstarer campaign. The mask has four significant benefits and one drawback. Washable, doesn't rub one's ears (soft strap), affordable filters, works well when it's raining (not heavy rain, of course and not in fog). There is also one drawback - hard plastic filter frame sometimes goes out of a silicone mask (usually the top left/right corner) which can rub one's face there. Overall, much better than many competitors

The mask is great. The fits good eat too assemble, spare items available and shipped quickly. You can make your adjustments fast. Cleaning is easy also.

When I can get it to fit right, it's the best mask I own. However, the vendor needs to have FAQs about how to clean it; I heard boiling can impact the form of the silicone. I also own a UV sanitizer and want to know if this can be safely used, or whether Lysol type disinfecting wipes are effective. How about Sodium Hypochlorite, as I have a device that makes it in my home. I still like my Aus Air, but there is an element of comfort using this with 1-time use filters rather than the risk of multi-use filters despite the cost. 4 stars instead of 5 stars due to my concerns on fit (it takes work if you wear eyeglasses) and cleaning.

When l wanted to check out how to clean it (very easily done) l saw that the price dropped already with 10 €, and got a little disappointed having paid too much ordering it too soon.
Product feels very good and comfortable to wear.
There is a strange smell to it, but l hope it will wash away.

I've read the posted reviews and understand the positive and negative responses posted.
My negative: the production and delivery dates were pushed out a few times and the products finally did arrive. I did receive updates via e-mail of production and shipping delays.
The positive: These MoD PPE masks are as described in the Indiegogo campaign.
I am a 68 year old man living in Texas, USA and in the higher risk group. I wanted better protection from Covid-19 than a surgical mask or cloth mask. These silicon masks are the best answer I have seen on the open market.
Upon receipt, I scanned the QR code on the filter package and followed the assembly instructions. All the parts were in the package so I was able to put the masks together without any issues. The valve cover was included (some government agencies require them). The fit is comfortable and it is easy to breath in it. I wear glasses and found no air leaks around my nose or cheeks that allowed warm air to fog my glasses. Also since the straps do not rest on my ears, the mask does not pull against or displace my hearing aids.
The only real negative issue is that the material is denser than paper or cloth and it is harder for other people to hear my speech. But, we're all getting used to speaking slower and enunciating our words now.
I felt so good about this produce that I purchased two additional masks (and filters) for my son and his wife as they both work in Pharmacy and deal with the public everyday.

I backed this via Kickstarter and was supposed to receive this in May. Instead I received this September 30th. I do not feel safe wearing these as they are a terrible product and came without valves.

No instructions for threading the adjustable strings for the mask. No Valve for the FIVE USELESS masks. Air goes through the front of the mask without the valve--I can the air when I hold my hand in front of the face & breathe out. Filters and masks completely useless. I not sure if threaded them right, but there is a small gap between mask & skin around the nose, though I do wear glasses.

Additionally, customer service is bad. Months ago** before the masks were marked as shipped, I had requested 1. One of the nude masks be changed to Green because FYI the nude color is super ugly & did not match the prototype and 2. Since they took so long shipping & already made the valves, if they could include them. I never got a response via email, but asking through Backerkit, got an ok for a green mask instead, but got the nude. However, that does not really matter because I did not receive the FIVE valves, so the masks are useless anyway.

(**I say months ago, because it took months for them to be ready to ship and then once shipped, it took around 80 days for me to receive them when usually even free shipping from China on Ebay only takes 30 days.)

The website does not have an option to even buy the valves, which should have been included.

Saying that the kickstarter did not promise valves is no excuse, because Backers expect the person in charge to be an expert on the product / field they are selling, and it is not like the valves should be a huge expenditure or weight to include. Other campaigns have done the right thing in cases like this.

Additionally, a huge reason why I backed it was to be ahead of the game in May with PPE shortages happening. While waiting for the mask, a promotion for people with the masks was underway, which was in bad taste. There was also a call for people to buy filters for the mask they did not receive yet, and the valves would be included. However, even after receiving the masks, it does not make sense to buy filters to get a valve, because without the valve, I can't tell if they work...and who knows if I'll still have problems after receiving the valve, meaning I would have sunk more money into an un-useable product.

I have backed one other style of mask on kickstarter, and that Campaign handled things a lot better. Better communication and product.
Initially they did not include a valve/valve blocker on the campaign page. However, they gave everyone an update that they needed to send the masks out a little later to include the valve blocker, and it was included for free. I was supposed to get that mask in June, a whole month later than this one, but received it October 7th--late, but only 1 week later than the mask I was supposed to receive a month earlier than it.

It is no longer April and there are tons of other mask options out there. Save yourself the aggravation on dealing with this company. I wasted so much money on an incomplete product by a company that does not put its customers first.

I don't know what I can even do with these masks as is...

I give it one star because i ask them to add the valve caps with my order. I even mail to mark and ask of he saw my order and of he saw the 5 vavle caps i ask for. But when i got my order of 200 filters no valve caps delivered. That is why the 1 star.

As someone who has to wear a mask all the time, even before COVID, this mask is a god send! I was a backer on Kickstarter, and I just love it!

I feel much better protected than the Vogmask and Cambridge mask that I owned. I can breathe. It seals very well to my face. I can run in it, and I can wear it for hours without discomfort!

I recommend this to anyone suffering from an immune deficiency!

Excellent project to pull off during lockdown. I funded via Kickstarter, subsequently delighted with the comfortable effective breathing mask. Super-soft silicone with filtration certificates from SGS labs for the filters, to say they match the filtration level of FFP3/N99. I bought two, black for partner and mine is pink! Can’t fault them.
