I purchased this product on Kickstarter September 2020. No pledge email, no response to inquiries, no products received. If I could give zero stars, I would.

I backed this project in kickstarter 26th of April, 2020. Have not received my product nor refund, no answer. Stay away from this product and buy some proper FFP2 or FFP3 masks instead.

OK. The mask took forever to arrive, but I guess that was to be expected during a pandemic, etc. However, my second order for nose clips ordered (ORDER #921089) NEVER ARRIVED. I received notification about a delivery on March 1st 2021 (DPD tracking number: 05112943719385), BUT NOTHING ARRIVED. I have tried to contact the supplier several times since and I have been ignored. I cannot recommend this company.

Ordered masks on June 15th. Contacted support twice asking for confirmation and estimate of shipping date. Have yet to get a reply. Attempted to use their “Product not received form” and it seems to be a dead link. I’m wondering if they went out of business and haven’t closed down their website.

7/14/2021 - USPS is now awaiting item. Looks like they are still in business, just slow to ship and respond.

Horrible.

Had to wait many months for the mask and filters, and when I received them, I learned that a cap was made to fit over the circular part on the front to make it safe to wear, but the cap would have to be glued on to get it to stay. The mask itself is horrible uncomfortable for me, my family, and my friends. I just kept sanitizing it and passing it to another person, but it didn't fit anyone! I thought the silicone would mold to the face and create a good seal, but there's a plastic piece that is meant to hold the filters in that is too small and hurts our faces. It can't be "bent" or reshaped. It keeps popping out too.

I ordered the mask and 10 filters. The mask arrived but not the filters which can only be gotten through them as the filters are custom to this mask design. It has now been a month since I ordered and Mark Austen is no longer responding to attempts to contact MOD and despite saying they would remedy the situation have never sent the filters thus rending the mask completely useless. I can not find any other contact point and have tried everything I can including reporting it to the BBB to attempt to get either the filters or a full refund at this point. Since they are not responding I suspect they plan to just ignore the situation since they have already taken my money.

Great experience dealing with Mark. Masks are good. Well built. Like anything mass produced, there are some people it will not fit perfectly. I had to play around with it a bit to get a perfect fit, but now, I have perfect seal and am very happy with it. Some sensitivity to temperature ( had more issue getting a seal with a cold mask in winter) but overall, I highly recommend to all who are preoccupied with Variants. This is how to protect yourself and others.

This is a great mask. However, i have a large head and face. It would be best if there was a choice for wider fit as this one is narrow for me. But i would still say this is a pretty good mask. Keep up the good work

They sent me the wrong item. I emailed them twice to return/exchange and they never responded

Ordered 3 masks, none fits to whom are supposed to wear them! Air comes 8n and out from the nosepad, impossible to wear it with glasses,...and the "solution" to fix the nosepad issue is a joke! And no answer to questions, a waste of money! Next time propose a final good product not a prerelease!

Mod PPE is the worst online firm I have ever encountered.

I ordered a £30+ mask. There was nothing visible in the description about beards. But when it arrived the first statement in the instructions was "do not use with a beard". I have had a beard for well over 50 years now.

So I contacted Mod PPE via the only means available - the contact form on their website, asking how I could return the product and get a refund.
After 2 or 3 weeks - no response.

So I sent an email saying the same again. No response and it was 2 or 3 months ago.

The company has no phone number on its website and even contacting Amsterdam phone directory produced no phone number.

The company deliberately hides an fails to answer emails so as to hang on to the money that dissatisfied customers want to be returned.

Abominable behaviour

Ordered and day later told they had been despatched to DPD carriers. In transit for 7 days then tracking told me they had been returned to sender. Still waiting for reason

Took 6 months to get my mask. Were supposed to be shipped in June, July, September, November and eventually received in January. Now received they are a huge disappointment. They don’t fit well, they are uncomfortable and they leak. I don’t feel at all safe in these mask and I highly doubt they can protect you any better than the cheap surgical masks available in Costco. Interesting that Mark replies to reviews on here a lot faster than he replies to customers asking for more info.

“If you don’t receive your mask in 90 days, we will refund”. After 90 days, “sorry can’t refund as your masks have already shipped”. Took almost 3 months after “already shipped” to receive them.

I was glad to have some communication with Sylvia but disappointed with lack of communication with Mark Austen.It was a terrible experience order placed on May 23rd,2020 finally received on January 7th,2021 over 7 months to get WAY too long!! Never again will I Sponcer another Indigo go project!! It SUCKED!!

I ordered this mask as I was tired of buying single use masks that would barely protect me from Covid. Now I am wearing this everywhere I go. The feel is great, it is super comfortable and now I feel much safer wherever I go. I must say that the mask exceeded all my expectations

Finally a mask I can breathe without fogging up my glasses. Superb, high quality material and I love that it is easily washable and I can change the filters. The green is a great color too!

Please don't be put off by the negative reviews. Granted A LOT went wrong with the Kickstarter. It was at the beginning of the pandemic and plans went south when they had to scramble to get manufacturing done elsewhere. Shipping was slow, there were issues with the mask fitting right for most folks. For me, air would escape around the nose and get into my eye.

I had to fit my own nose guard on there to seal up the bridge of the nose to prevent leaks.

After I did that, the mask worked like a champ. It's sturdy material and anybody reporting they broke it, well, I suspect because they were angry about the product and abused it.

Is it the best mask you will ever buy? Maybe not. By this time, there's competition out there, for sure. Shop around and get what's right for you. But this is my go to mask when I go out.

I backed a Mod PPE kicksatarter for a set of masks and separately spare filters. These were never received. I requested and received a tracking number and link. This tracking number still (as of 11/27) shows the items in transit but has absolutely no information that would prove it was sent/directed to myself or my address. As such I can't even confirm the item was sent.

I talked with Mr Austen who heads the company about the delivery and made no progress. Eventually I worked through my credit card company and the charges were reversed. In the process of this the company had the audacity to claim the shipment had been received despite the tracking number ModPPE providing demonstrating otherwise. This turned out to be useful as it demonstrated they were not at all acting in good faith.

It is entirely possible the package was lost. The appropriate response to that is to send new product or a refund and seek redress from a shipper. Its not to tell the customer that it will eventually arrive and the credit card company upon a complain that its been received. I am not, based on the Kickstarter comments, the only individual this has happened to.

The ModPPE response below as of 12/2 seeks to blame the shipper and fails to recognize their own duplicity here I stand by my review that this company is not to be trusted and should be avoided.
