the gps lags like crazy..

the gps lags like crazy... also the touch screen lags... so much so that the range doesnt update in time for you to take your next shot... was using the blue tees speaker before and i have to say that im not impressed with the milseey golf one. ive requested to return the product but they will not give me a way to return it.

I had a great experience on their website and the product is amazing.

I had an excellent experience from start to finish. The website was easy to navigate, and my order arrived within just a few days.

I was in the market for a new speaker and spent considerable time researching and reading reviews before making my decision. I'm very glad I chose this product. The speaker delivers outstanding performance, and the handheld device is a valuable addition, making it easy to step away from the cart while still having quick access to accurate yardage information.

Thank you for your feedback! We're glad you're enjoying your GeneSonic Pro.

To reduce how often the screen goes to sleep, you can adjust the settings:

- Go to Settings > Screen Off
- Turn Screen Saver Off
- Set the screen timeout to the maximum available duration (15 minutes)

The screen timeout can't be disabled completely, as it's designed to help preserve battery life throughout a full 18-hole round. To wake the screen, simply double-tap the same spot on the display or press the power button on the side of the handheld.

The battery does not last

The battery does not last, phone calls wont silence when they come through on the speaker. Honestly would return it if i could.

A little clumsy using gps

Battery life is really poor -- and…

Battery life is really poor -- and needs recharging every 2-3 rounds.
Also, the measurement unit keeps defaulting to Meters instead of Yards. I set it to Yards and then it just switches to Metres on it's own! As a result, I've stopped using the device -- been a waste of money

Regarding battery life: under typical usage, the G1 is designed to last for multiple rounds of golf on a full charge. Runtime can vary depending on usage intensity—factors like screen brightness, GPS activity, and music playback volume can cause the battery to drain faster, similar to a smartphone.

Regarding the unit defaulting to meters, we're aware of this issue, and a fix is scheduled to roll out via a software update this week to ensure your preferred unit setting is saved correctly.

Product is great

Product is great no issues how it works. Compared to other GPS and yards are accurate. Need to send an update not let it go to sleep if don’t use it for couple holes it completely shuts down had have to start all over. Have set to max time and screen saver off. Battery long enough not worry about battery life. Thanks.

The device looks amazing but

The device looks amazing and has one of the best speakers. I have yet to complete a round of golf with it functioning the entire time. Hopefully, software updates will fix the issues.

Mr freeze

Your product froze up again. I’m really tired of it and I will not recommend it to anybody.

A hoax

Product just not made well. Looses the ability to determine what hole you are playing .

GeneSonic Go Golf GPS Handheld

Overall, the GeneSonic Go Golf GPS Handheld is very good. I am not entirely sure it's worth paying nearly £100 more than some similar handheld golf GPS versions (Blue Tees etc as an example), but the Mileseey design, premium case and carry options are a better design feature than just a pocket carrying option. Auto-brightness option has to be turned off as the screen is too dim otherwise. Can be a little bit slow to react.
