STAY AWAY - Product is extremely cheap and the customer service is embarrassingly poor. Paid nearly £1000 for 6 lights for exterior of house.... the remote control and app will only work when standing next to each light... have two at front of house and standing by front door to turn on/off both lights wont turn on or off together... offered to buy better drivers from them but want to charge me £240 and wont provide details. Regret buying and would say to anyone looking to definitely do not buy from them. Left a review on their website saying how bad it is and they removed from their site.

Very disappointed in my experience with this company. I don’t recommend them at any cost.
Often with online shopping the item is unsuitable and you have to return. With this company you not only have to pay postage for returns but you also lose 10% restocking. This experience has cost me over £15 just to return the unsuitable light.
I won’t be shopping with them again.

I wish I could rate below 1 star. I ordered a pendant light to check if I was happy with it - I wanted to return it and I’m told the following: “ For non-quality-related returns, customers have to pay the postage to return the item and a 10% restocking fee, we could offer you a 10% refund and still keep the item for use.
Does this work for you?”

I have never, ever ever heard of such a policy - 10% REFUND?!

If you order and end up getting a product you don’t like - they will not give you a full refund

Also consider the fact the actual product is very different to the image online.

Ein deutscher Shop wird vorgegaukelt, stattdessen kommt billige Ware aus China. Hat wenig bis gar nichts mit der Beschreibung auf der Webseite zu tun. Rücksendungen werden nur zäh entgegengenommen. Auf Anfragen werden immer wieder neue standardisierte Mails verschickt mit neuen Rabattangeboten.

Mesdames et messieurs qui me liront écoutez moi attentivement si vous tenez à votre argent. Avant d’acheter sur ce site j’ai lu tout les avis négatifs et j’ai tenté l’aventure pour voir et finalement j’ai reçu un produit totalement non conforme aux photos sans parler de la qualité des finitions médiocres pour la modeste somme de 110 euros ahahahahah. FUYEZ FUYEZ FUYEZ pour vos vies !!!!!

Customer Service non existent! Their Return Policy states that you must email them prior to return and then ignore emails and chats so you can’t send them back! The lights I ordered don’t have a back on, so would leave wires exposed on the lap panelling! Also they are shipped from Shanghai when business address is Manchester … therefore, I cannot be sure if they conform to British standards for lighting! Left with lights to the total of £305 that cannot be used due to concern with safety! Raised a query with PayPal and they took Lightzey side 🤷🏻‍♀️.

I have had the same experience as many other review writers and wish I had seen these reviews before I dealt with Lightzey. I ordered a light and it soon became clear that I was effectively ordering from a supplier in China with significant elapsed time before delivery. The light was poor quality (the top section didn’t fit the bottom section). To return the item, I was given a residential address in Sheffield. The first proposal from Lightzey was that I keep the light with a 20% refund. When I declined that they offered a 50% discount if I would keep the light. Finally, Lightzey angrred to have it back but then insisted that the quality was not a problem and responded robotically to my emails, having deducted a 10% “restocking fee” from the refund and refusing to refund my postage costs. At the end of the day it cost me £15 and a lot of irritation so, not the end of the world but I won’t be dealing with these charlatans again

Don’t buy from this company. While it states that the company is based in the UK, their products ship straight from China and their return address is a residential home in Sheffield. Bought expensive light and came with defects. Their return policy states that if the product is damaged they will refund you the return postage. Even had an email from them stating they would refund me for the return postage before I sent it back. Once returned they have refused to refund me for the return postage which cost a lot! Now I’m out of pocket for an issue not caused by me. Don’t do business with this company - very underhand and deceptive!

Terrible experience and we highly recommend you shop with a reputable retailer instead if you want to have a) the product you ordered or b) a refund when you don't get it. Ordered a light at a cost of £255.00 in November and after weeks of waiting and chasing for it, were told for some reason the item couldn't be delivered to us and was returned to the retailer in China. We suspect no attempt at a shipment was made as the tracking info just didn't move. We requested an immediate refund, which still hasn't arrived three months later. They keep saying the money has been paid back, but this is totally untrue and we've asked continually for a remittance advice, which is studiously ignored each and every time. We're now making a case with Trading Standards as we won't let this matter drop. Based on the reviews here, we are not alone in experiencing these issues so please take our advice and those of the many others leaving one star reviews here and don't put yourself through the ordeal, it simply isn't worth it when there are so many reputable retailers who will honour the order or refund.

I placed a £342 order on 21st March. Today I chased it up and was sent a tracking link showing it was due to leave China. As I needed the lights quickly this was not good news! Then I read the reviews and started worrying about the lights conformance to UK standards. I have asked twice now and have not yet received the Certificate of Conformance and am extremely worried about this.

Do not buy from this company. I received faulty goods and the item was also not as described. You also have to wire it yourself !

Customer service is appalling- no phone number to call and emails takes ages to respond to with no actual progress. Still waiting for my refund after 2 months.

No delivery dates given either - my purchase just turned up with no notice and left outside my door.

Further update - they also charge you for returning their own faulty goods, and charge a 10% restocking fee! That’s obviously a breach of our consumer rights for faulty / unsatisfactory goods ….

I wish I could give zero stars.
The company website looks for all appearances to be a UK company, but the lights come from different places. I ordered 3 lights, two turned up ok and came from one place, the other 1 light came from elsewhere and was shipped separately. This one light never turned up, despite the courier saying it had been delivered.
Several emails later and Lightzey admitted that the courier had lost the parcel (only because I insisted on seeing proof of delivery).
I asked for refund at the end of December and we are still no closer to it in mid February, simply because it takes them 2 weeks to respond to an email, then they say that refund has failed, then they want an IBAN number because they can't transfer with normal sort code and account number.
Probably the worst customer experience I have ever had with an online retailer.
I wish I had never ordered from them.

I received my lights but they are nothing like the ones on the website! I am so disappointed they cost a lot of money. I have sent numerous emails with no answer just totally ignored, don’t know what else I can do? There is no telephone number

Awful company. My lights didn’t arrive. I’ve sent numerous emails to which they have stopped replying. I’m now seeking legal advice to get the money back. Honestly don’t buy from this company

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! Took ages to arrive, came from China and cannot be fitted as it's not safe for the UK. I am still awaiting a refund. Shocking service.

Sadly I didn’t read the reviews before I bought the light. Waited weeks for it to arrive. Tracking reference shows it was sent from China. The light arrived today. Not deemed fit for purpose. Cheap looking and definitely not how it was portrayed on the website. Very disappointing and a complete waste of money.
