This company is a huge frigging S.C.A.M. I placed 3 orders between Sept 1-2. It's been over a MONTH and they still haven't shipped yet. I paid for tracking and insurance. Reaching out to customer service is a joke. I've emailed them at least 20 times in the past month asking where my orders are, and they only replied once asking for the order number that was in the form!! Don't waste your money here, I am an unfortunate victim to this kawaii scam. Thankfully I was able to dispute the charges, as these were all fairly large orders and most were gifts.

Mixed quality products. Some ok some absolute rubbish. The most appalling customer service!! The worst I’ve ever experienced. Some Products arrived broken and I contacted customer service 4 times was told someone in management would get back to me and they never did despite repeatedly chasing this up! Would never buy from here again!! They effectively stole my money as I paid for items that were broken and unusable and couldn’t get any help or refund!!

Pay extra express delivery (3 days) - ordered on 11th Aug but received on 20 Aug. When item received, 1 item was wrong and it was a cheaper item than what I ordered. I reached out to the shop through their contact email and there was no reply..The Sanrio case bought was loose. Overpriced items.

After seeing their ads over and over again on Instagram, I recently bought some Sanrio items from Kawaiipenshop and received them a month after ordering. Really sad to report that they were all bootleg items that were extremely poorly done. For example, a small cosmetic bag was poorly stitched and seams uneven. It also had a poorly scanned copy of the shop tags included. So disappointed!

Seller charges German sales tax, even though the seller is registered in the US. The markers I ordered had very little ink flow, unusable trash.

I tried to place an order to receive a free item as advertised. However, no matter how much I added to my cart, the promo code wouldn't work—it kept saying my items didn’t qualify, despite meeting the requirements. I even looked for alternative places to enter the code, but accidentally completed the order in the process.

I contacted Kawaii Pen Shop within the hour to explain the issue and asked if they could either add the free item manually or issue a refund.

After three days with no response, I followed up. Two days later, they finally replied, saying my order didn’t meet the minimum amount for the promotion. They completely ignored the part where I explained that I had added more items and the code still didn’t work. I responded again to request a refund.

Three more days passed before I was told that my order had already been dispatched—yet I never received any shipping confirmation or tracking information.

This used to be a reliable website with easy-to-use promotions, but sadly, that no longer seems to be the case.

I've always been really happy with my purchases. However, one item in my recent purchase was so bad I left a 1 star review (this was based on quality for the price). It didn't appear on the website, and when I left a 4 star review for another item it appeared right away. Also, the 1 star review wouldn't let me include videos or photos, it just jumped back to the website as soon as I hit 'next'. Moral of the story, the reviews on the site mean nothing. In light of the other reviews on this page, I can say that I did receive the promised freebie pack and my order arrived promptly. The freebie pack was excellent. I'd order again, but I'd never trust their notebooks again. Happy to amend this review if my website review appears on their page.

Kawaii Pen Shop - so cute but low quality merch probably not authorized. Took forever to receive, then they sent me duplicates of one sticker pack instead of two different ones.
Emailed to explain. Three days later they asked me to send a photo of what was sent. Three days after that, responded that they've "escalated" to the manager who will get back to me within 48 hours. Two weeks later, I again wrote saying it's been a while... three days after that got a message saying be patient they have so many emails. Two weeks later I wrote again and three days later again received email saying be patient. They then sent an email asking for reviews. I was honest in them all and of course they'll never be posted. Everything on their site is five star reviews. The merch is poor quality. My snoopy tote bag was printed only on one side and is not the size advertised. The stickers can't easily be peeled off and are printed only matte paper
- not even usable. I am smarter than this - don't know why I got sucked in.

The quality was absolute garbage. I also am missing an item, and one was two of the same sticker pack when it was supposed to be one of each variety. $5 for a sticky note pad that is so small it can't even be written on and only 30 pages. Definitely could have gotten that from a dollar store. Looks like it ships from US, but actually ships from Hong Kong. Also, says it will deliver in 18 days but took a month. Will not order again. I have reached out to them about my missing item and the mixup in the stickers and will update with a better review if this is fixed.

i like it, it slays

Very disappointed with this company. I love the products and have ordered a few times in the past, but I'm very unhappy with my current order. I placed it on January 27th. It was not shipped until February 3rd, a week later. When I click on the tracking information, it is extremely vague and not useful. There is no estimated delivery date. The website says 7 to 18 days for delivery to the U.S., but the customer service representative who emailed me said three to four weeks. This was supposed to be a birthday gift and was needed by this Friday, but it doesn't sound like I'll get it anytime soon. Will not be ordering from this company ever again.

I recently placed a small order and fully expected to be joining the reviews that others gave indicating that this retailer isn’t trustworthy.

I was pleasantly surprised to receive my order - which did ship from Hong Kong - in a reasonably quick time period, and including all the items I had ordered.

The items aren’t the highest-ever quality, but I know from past experience that this is an online version of the type of store that sells okay-quality, extremely cute items, so that was fine with me and fully expected.

Shipping was slightly expensive, but it was reasonable considering the package came from the other side of the world. I always pay about this much to ship items from Asia.

I contacted customer service once, to ensure my items had all shipped, and they did take a few days to reply but they confirmed everything shipped correctly - and when I received my package, that turned out to be correct. I had applied a coupon code for a gift with purchase, and I did receive it. The gift was actually better than I had expected!

Overall my experience was quite positive, and I will most likely order from this shop again.

It took awhile for the company to respond to my order questions. The orders take 3-4 weeks to arrive and I didn’t realize that.

My husband and I have both bought from this company with no problems, but that ended on Sunday.

Somehow the shipping address got changed in my husband's account. He did not change it and only saw the problem after the transaction completed. We live in Canada and his order is shipping to Tennessee.

He immediately got in contact with them and they say they can't do anything about it! Efforts to cancel on Shopify were not fruitful either.

The order hasn't shipped yet, so why can't they fix this? I will spread this all over the internet if I have to. Do you honestly think the David Johnson in Tennessee is going to return it? We're out over $120 unless this company fixes this.

This company is shady and sketchy. They use a residential address in Wyoming as their "business" address but shipments all come from Hong Kong. Customer Service is almost non-existent. I placed an order because I wanted to use a promo code. The promo code did not work upon checking out. But I stupidly still placed my order and then emailed them right after so they could apply the promo code. Took them 5 days to respond to me about my order. By the time they responded, my order had shipped and could not be altered but had they replied to my email when I sent it and not 5 days later, they would have been able to help me. Customer service could not have cared any less. They already had my money. They also inflate their social media numbers. They have like 380,000 followers but only get like 20 likes per post. It's clear they have purchased all those followers since it doesn't match their engagement ratio. BUYER BEWARE.

Such a fun shop. Great products, perfect to soothe my itch for nostalgic Sanrio items as well as some adorable and practical office supplies. I have made multiple orders now and plan on continuing shopping with Kawaii Pen Shop!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. You’ve been warned!!! I wish I read the reviews prior to ordering. I ordered from them over a month ago and I have not received my order. I reached out to customer service and they are not responsive.

I wish I read theses reviews before I bought anything from them, spent 70 dollars for subpar products. Soo expensive and over priced, their marketing for free stuff is a scam, tge coupon they provide does not work and if you complain all they say is it's already been shipped and they cannt do anything, they will not refund or work with you, really bad customer service. You're better off buying from Daiso or Amazon. The shipment took 2 weeks and the package wa open, missing items and just flimsy sh!tty quality. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE
