Awful, terrible, horrible service. Low quality product and then they bombard you with adverts so you can’t actually access your cameras to view what is going on.

absolute rubbish you get a while to use cameras then bang they insist that you pay a ridiculous fee to use your cameras why ? DISGUSTING DONT BUY

DO NOT use this company or YI cameras, unless you want to spend an age looking at inane moronic adverts for games before getting to see your security cameras! All 9 of my YI cameras are now being binned and replaced by far better Tapo cameras without any ads.

Customer service is rubbish.
Recently tried reaching out to enquire about an auto renewal for their services( which are poor) when they charged over 70.00 for renewal, lve been into the account page and there’s no option for cancelling any payments, they are taking money without providing notice to the customer,l refuse to sit in the house all day waiting to talk to an agent ( ld suggest there’s not many or nobody on the phones) so tried sending mails to the customer service operation, not even an automated reply. Not a way to treat customers, and they are taking hard earned money for a sub standard service.

Took out a free trial membership and it charged me the full amount straight away. When I cancelled it and messaged them, they responded saying that they hadnt charged me because I had cancelled it. Under their FAQ on the app it includes things like "what to do if you've been charged twice". I suspect this is how they make money. Half the features didn't work properly. It's 2025.

Only one camera is in function out of two. Totally impossible to go through the cancellation inquiry via the app on the iphone, "select reason for cancellation", no options shows when clicking on "select closest option". On the website, no options avaliable to turn off "autorenewal". Following the link from the email transaction and trying to cancel it constantly says "failed" upon evry try to cancel subscription. Wrote to support address the same day I ordered the subscription 14 days ago and still no answer whatsoever from KAMI YI IOT. This is the absolutely worst company I have ever done business with, and one star is one to many. Recommend to stay as far away as you can from them.

Kami shoves so much advertising at you that you have trouble getting to see the actual camera video. Used to be able to replay videos. Not anymore. Now you have to pay extra. I am buying a replacement this week and deleting this crap app off my phone.

Over the past 18 months, the quality of service has significantly declined. As a customer since 2021, I've observed a deterioration from previous standards. Customer service responsiveness has diminished, with complaints being closed without customer consultation. Playback functionality is unreliable, often initiating content far earlier than requested. Furthermore, the application on my secondary device displays persistent advertisements despite my subscription to a paid, ad-free plan. In conclusion, the current operational practices appear to prioritize profit over customer satisfaction. THIEVES!! AVOID THIS SCAMMERS!

I have discontinued the subscription already twice, and received a confirmation by email. Still they charged my credit card USD 140 once again. When I protested, they asked if I want to cancel my subscription… intentional robbery in my opinion!

I had to give them one star because they don’t allow negative numbers. The cameras are virtually useless as they are inundated in advertising. I’m not talking about one annoying ad here and there, I’m talking every few seconds and it covers the camera view. If you get an alert, by the time you get through the ads, whatever it was is gone. They do this to get you subscribe ad free. That’s after you PAID for a camera. DO NOT BUY THESE. THEY ARE USELESS AND A COMPLETE WASTE IF MONEY.

Until you purchase cloud service, the app will not function due to non stop advertising, local police tried to retrieve video for evidence and could not overcome advertising.

Purchased 3 YI home cameras.
IInitially all was OK. Then, gradually they reduce the service to try to sell me web storage service.... Went from 2 weeks storage to 2 days and now to... 0!!!
Contacted the customer service and after 2 weeks, I am still waiting for a response.
Appalling service.

It takes too long to view the cameras. There is constant interruptions from advertisements. If there is an emergency, it is completely unreliable. When Cove had complete ownership of the cameras you could view Videos anytime. Now that Kami took over, you have to pay extra for video footage. I am completely unhappy with this change and service.

Well for one, they can learn to use the phone in the rare case where that is necessary instead of saying over and over we don't do customr service over the phone. The email answers I've received to my questions are less than useful. very frustration.
