I agree with all the negative reviews. No point in writing all the issues with my experience. When everyone on here has the same issues. Ad after ad before you can see your cameras . Not worth buying cameras for the low price ! Don’t do it!!!!

Kami vision aka yiiot Dishonest/Greedy company. Their vision is to rob innocent people blind and they t good at it! Total garbage camera quality only good for a year with many performance issues. Infested with temu advertisements.
This company moved from California to India now so they can rob people freely and can't be sued!
I would ask everyone do not give your business to these scammers!

I have quite a lot of these bought over the years, I chose them as you didn’t need a subscription and could use SD cards. Now absolutely useless due to the forced ads trying to get you to take an expensive subscription. It’s impossible to do anything without endless ads blocking the screen and forced clicking of links taking you to a subscription page. Absolute scam now.

JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE IF I COULD GIVE A -5 REVIEW I WOULD. I HAVE TRIED CONSISTANTLY TO CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION BUT THEY JUST KEEP GIVING ME EXCUSES. I AM GOING TO HAVE TO CANCEL MY CARD WHICH IS SUCH AN INCONVENIENCE.

I hope a law firm takes up a class action lawsuit regarding this company. The original product was marketed for easy access and now it is about unusable due to forced adds that can't be closed as a means of forcing a paid subscription. A discount on this subscription is their newest ploy. Do not buy this product!

Garbage apps for their products. Kami Vision Yiiot security camera app is the biggest piece of crap ever with popup adds polluting the screen and blocking use as they pop up one after another. Stay away from anything Kami Vision makes!!!

This is the worst company and if you ever paid for a subscription the refuse let you cancel. We have cancelled for last 7 months and they keep charging us. We have had to report fraud on our account

Worst Company in History now they are limiting your free time on a camera you bought and paid for not to mention the non stop ads. Please God send these creeps into bankruptcy.

This company sells a product that’s not usable. Instead they put advertisements in front of the controls to the camera. No way to reach the camera to even make it usable. This company should turn off the lights close the door lock it and get out of business.

Upon trying to cancel they ignored the request.
Screenshots were taken of auto renew which should not have happened.
They kept requesting the confirmation number, when I didn't confirm in the 1st place.
Never got any renewal notice.
Thankfully I paid through PayPal who once I informed of all was more than happy to assist me with the refund.
Especially when I told them and they checked that Kamis link within was inoperable?!?
How appropriate for them...

After talking with PayPal I received yet another notice from Kami asking again for subscription approval number.

I informed them;

No need!

I've received the credit through PayPal.

Thankfully I used them as you only wish to avoid when you had all the information.

I work in accounting so I know....

Unsure why I would ever again, you were NO HELP at ALL!!!!!!!

I literally hate this company so much its a scam and I want my company to ditch this camera so bad. Amazon needs to stop selling their products period point blank.

It would be a zero but I can't do it I've had my cameras for years they've always been ok up to now

Garbage product. Purchased my cameras many years ago due to the advertising for no need for a subscription. I was happy. I could watch the cameras, there was video playback with alerts and I could open the app and then open the camera I wanted to view. I could switch cameras.

Its utterly ridiculous. I spend anywhere from 1-3 minutes watching ads to try and check my cameras.

I contacted support and was told too bad so sad that's just how it is if you want all of the functions you had for years you need to have an active subscription. Was offered a 30% discount on a month of the subscription.

I won't pay a penny for a subscription.

To whoever starts the class action lawsuit get me in on that.

This App used to be a good app, but now if i could give it NEGATTIVE 5 STARS I would do so! There are now so many ads you can barely watch your cameras, sometimes you have to close and re-open the app because you cannot get out of an ad!.... AND NOW they are limiting your LIVE VIEW to only one minute. They are trying to force you onto one of their paid Cloud Storage programs. After years of investing in Yi Cameras, I am now looking for a new company and software.

Used to be a very good camera system, but since the last year they are dreadful, absolutely annoying ads that are pushed on you before you can access the camera views, now giving you a timer of 90 secs free viewing then they ask you to subscribe, otherwise ads after ads.
I will be throwing mine in the bin and getting better ones without ads.
Sooooo annoying! Shame.

I have had this camera for 9 years with no problems, this week, there is a 90 second limitation to view unless I subscribe to premium for £129.99 !! I have challenged this and all I received is the same message how they are sorry but I can watch uninterrupted with premium ... I have always used SD card with no problem. Also the notice stating 90 seconds watch live is across my viewing so cannot even see some of my camera scope ! If I could give 0 on review I would

Absolute WASTE of money ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE to get to the camera because they will not let you out of the scam ads along with their own push for their Cloud ADD ON. When I get to the house I am going to throw them out and buy Amcrest cameras.. I hate Yi and Kami cameras

Boycot both YI and Kami!!! They are both Chinese companies and obviously don’t care one bit about selling fraudulently then providing totally non existent customer service. Buy American, these companies are a total scam/fraud.

Camera keeps going offline although the Blue light indicates WiFi connected. Constantly bombarded with adverts to force you to go ad free and pay a subscription. Non existent customer support. DONT BUY!!!

DO NOT BUY! Wouldn't have even given 1 star. Had this YI LOT/KAMIVISION camera for years with no problems, until a recent update, they've filled it with constant adverts that fill the whole page and arnt able to click off them unless you subscribe to their overpriced subscription. They now only allow something like 90 seconds viewing for free (even if you have your own SD card) but it's actually more like 10 seconds which is useless. This camera was never sold as a subscription only camera, it's an absolute scam and is now going in the bin.
