Many times using Japan Wireless. JR Pass, Pocket wifi, no issue throughout trip, from Osaka, Kyoto to Tokyo. Will definite use Japan-wireless again on our next trip.

The transaction starting from ordering online, pickup at haneda then drop off at post office box was seemless. The connection and
Signal were great and lastly J-wireless was the best bang for the buck. I’ll definitely be a return customer. Thanks again !!

My family of 5 toured Japan for two weeks and had great internet connections on all our devices with this pocket WiFi.

Highly recommend! Easy to use. Return is just as easy as pick up and connection. 3 devices all day. Entered into Osaka and exited Tokyo.

Loved that the WiFi worked everywhere I went. My only complaint is that the WiFi only held on charge for about 5 hours and the extra battery pack the next 5 hours so you got a little greater than about 10 hrs total for a day. Just with the WiFi could work the entire day. But otherwise it was a great alternative to use for internet and travel

This is my fourth time using Japan Wireless service. I've never had a bad experience. The pocket wifi is convenient and provided internet service during our stay in Japan. Picking up and dropping off at the airport is convenient. I will continue to use this service.

The pocket wifi was great. We traveled in Okinawa over most of the island as well as in the Kanagawa prefecture on the mainland. We had service for 95% of the time. It was great. It's small and the battery backup worked for both my phone and the router. It gave my phone about 30% more charge. I used the backup battery 1x for the router and 3x for my cell phone. Their cable was slow & overused so I used the one I brought. Having multiple people able to log into the router also came in handy.
The translator tool was useless. It was slow. Google Translate works so much better.

I ordered the premium pocket wifi 3 days prior to my Japan trip that lastet 2 weeks and let it be sent to my hotel. When I arrived at the hotel the staff gave me the envelope with it in it. It was super easy to connect and it was always working and also very fast. The durability of the battery was also great. On my last day I just put everything in the envelope provided and put it in the nearest mailbox. Everything went smoothly so I definitely recommend it.

Reliable coverage, did not let us down as we used navigation entirely throughout our trip. Would use this company again for our next trip

Picking up the pocket wifi was easy and so was returning it. WiFi worked perfectly all the time 5/5

This time I got 4G and was in my room at my hotel when I arrived. Used Tokyo and Yokohama for long days and only a handful of service down for a few minutes usually with train transport in 9 days. Provided all I needed and for posting back, easy drop off in terminal 3 international.

everything went well from pick up, user friendly device until return. all information and instructions were all included in the package. this is the 3rd time I used this company and will use them again if given a chance. keep up the good work.

Not sure if this is a Klook issue or a Japan Wireless issue. Received the hardware in time, which is great, and returning it was super easy. However, there was a problem with the device. It didn’t last more than one hour and always had bad reception and was really laggy on my mobile devices. The portable charger it came with also didn’t even work, so I had to use my own portable charger. In the end, I didn’t use this portable wifi because it just wasn’t working and just ended up buying e-Sims. Tried contacting Klook for support but had no luck. I just wasted time and money and effort on this. You’re better off getting e-Sims instead.

You need a hotspot if your cellular carrier doesn’t cover Japan, as the free WiFi disappears once you exit the train station etc. If you are using Google Maps to get around or Google Translate to read signs, WiFi is invaluable. However, the hotspot would routinely run out of power about 2 or 3 pm, and the power block Japan Wireless gave me did not work, so I would have to find a place to sit and plug it in to recharge it every afternoon. Second, the coverage was spotty, and especially in Toyama prefecture and in the Kii peninsula there were many places where the WiFi simply dropped off. I felt that it was better than nothing, but the service provided could be better.

First time using Japan Wireless pocket wifi and I was very satisfied with it. We used it mostly with two devices and had a good internet coverage through and between major cities, also while riding trains.

The wifi device's battery lasted a lot longer than I initially thought it would and we usually didn't have to charge it at all during the day. A power bank, a cable and an adapter (with two USB-A ports) and pouch were included, and we used the adapter a lot otherwise too.

Getting the device at Haneda and returning it via mail box again at Haneda was easy. It was also great that the rental time covered the whole day (and actually latest until noon next day).

Easy pickup at Narita airport post counter and simple drop off at the Narita post box prior to departure. We traveled through Tokyo, Hakone, Kyoto and Osaka as a party of x2 adults and x2 children all connecting simultaneously with no speed or drop out issues. We traveled through the countryside and underground tubes and only lost coverage in a very few areas but only for a minute or so.
Great product and would certainly be using Japan Wireless again on our next visit.

Pick up and drop off are very easy. It would be even better for the paperwork to say that there is a post box in Haneda airport!

The WiFi box died all the time unless it was plugged into its external battery all day. We also had to reset the device at least once a day if not more. I used this company in 2019 and 2023 but I feel like the devices got worse. I likely will not use this company again when I travel sadly.
