If you're like me and need an honest, professional surveyor who you can trust to do a good survey and explain everything, Torus are the best.
Ive used them for 2 house surveys and 1 valuation this year.
We used Andrew for all surveys and valuations.
Torus are highly professional. Vicky sets you up with an online portal so you can see progress from quote through to report, so you know where you are.
Andrew the surveyor took the time to call and explain the survey results to us and take any questions we had.
The reports are detailed but clear, with pointers to remedial and legal items that may need attention.
I just wanted confidence that I was getting good surveys and valuations that I could talk through, and Torus cant be beat.

In between work trips abroad and in an attempt to gee up my conveyancers, not easy! I reached out to Torus to conduct a survey with a very tight deadline.
Vicky Perrett was super accommodating and a pleasure to deal with, the team managed to rejig a schedule and fitted me in within a few days much to my surprise. The survey report was concise and detailed with photography findings too.

We first came across Torus when one of their surveyors did a survey for the buyers of our house earlier this year. We were very impressed with how thorough he was and so when we started the process of buying our new property, we turned to them. They have been very helpful in scheduling the survey (bringing forward the date when they had a cancellation). The surveyor gave us a verbal report the same day of the survey and we received the full report a few days later. A very efficient, thorough and friendly service.

Terrific service . Easy to book a survey , total clarity on the survey we required , survey booked in good time with clear findings / results discussed over the phone the same day + full report emailed within 24 hours . Really nice people , professional and highly competent across the board

I have had a brilliant experience with Torus Surveyors from start to end. My original purchase fell through and Helena and Vicky were really helpful and held my money on account for my new purchase. They also were really helpful in providing me with an earlier survey slot when a cancellation came up which I was really grateful for. Stephen the surveyor called me on the day of the survey to highlight a few issues and provided me with the in depth report in less than 24 hours after the visit. Grate company with great employees.

The service was very tailored to my requirements, communication was efficient and prompt, and the advice received was comprehensible and enabled me to focus on key issues.
I was able to speak to and email Vicky and her team to ensure I had the correct survey level and valuation.
There were some key issues which I wished the surveyor to focus on and the process for informing Torus for doing so was very straightforward.
Feedback on key issues on the same day as the valuation was carried out enabled me to isolate the problems and solutions.
There were later disclosures which I was able to discuss with the surveyor.

I found the report very detailed and helpful. At each stage, proper email communication and updates starting from booking the date for the survey until the report completion. The report explained all the issues and the recommendations. Overall, I am happy with their service.

The team at Torus Surveyors have been more than helpful and communicative. It took a bit of time to confirm access from the seller of the property, but they updated us all the way. The phone call from Andrew on the day of the survey was fantastic. Would highly recommend!
