We stayed at Parade View apartment during May half term. All the communications with the company were clear, friendly and efficient. The apartment was great: spacious, clean and well equipped. The beds were extremely comfortable. We had to have the windows open as it was very warm and there was noise from the road but we all got a good nights sleep. The location was perfect for early morning dog walks on the beach and for exploring Whitby. We really enjoyed our mini break! Thank you!

Very well located, lots of amenities nearby, place was clean,very well equipped and lots of lovely little extras such as crisps, biscuits and chocolates.

We had the best of times May 2026. I went with my daughter and 4 grandchildren during a mini heatwave. 3 other family members joined us for 1 day to enjoy the pool and BBQ. The kids loved the pool ( ages 13, 14, 16 & 17). The property could do with some modifications. Sockets near mirrors for us ladies and a bit of upkeep. But it was very homely and charming and we felt totally relaxed and not uneasy as you would if it was very high end.
Beds were super comfy as were the pillows and towels were of a good quality.
Overall very pleased and had a wonderful time.
We may be back ??

Lovely place in a great position but lost a couple of stars for a few reasons.
There was a distinct dog smell when we arrived. It took air fresheners and scented candles to get rid.
No locks on bathroom doors.
Stripped the beds on leaving and found one had no mattress protector and another had a very stained one. This must have been obvious when the beds were made up.
We didn’t really cook there but the pans were in a very bad state.
Not enough glasses and teaspoons.
It was a pity because the house is great with the advantage of it’s own parking spot and so convenient for the town.

Lovely roomy 2 floor apartment with a great outdoor terrace. Beautifully furnished and well equipped. We didn’t actually do any cooking as the location is great for dining out and getting takeaways!

Gorgeous views, gorgeous lodge, and also gorgeous weather.

We had a lovely stay at Hunton Court and the rooms at the flat were spacious, light and sunny. The bedrooms would benefit from black out curtains. A couple of missing items such as shaving mirror in bathroom, dressing table and mirror in the bedroom. Plus a fan for the hot weather. The flat is near to all amenities with a short 10/15 minute slow walk into Whitby centre and over the swing bridge. It also benefits from parking onsite and a lift to the second floor which is a bonus.

Very good communication from the hosts. Good location in Canterbury. On 3 floors, lots of space, good facilities

The cottage was delightful, although the stairs were tricky, but on keeping with the style. The grandchildren 11 & 13 loved it it was so quaint, very clean. The beds very comfortable and the shower was hot and powerful, just what you need after a day at sanded! . We would definitely recommend and probably use it again.

Excellent accommodation, wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

A lovely, cosy cottage in a good location in beautiful Staithes. There was of plenty of space for our family of five to spread out. It was clean and well equipped for a short stay.
The hosts was easily reachable and quick to respond.
The only negative was the shower, it went from very hot to very cold and back again in a blink of an eye. The bath suited our children much better.

Apartment was well presented and clean with a great location in the centre of the city. Didn’t need to use the car whilst there. No so easy to find after parking in the basement car park where the instructions could be clearer. Cooker hob cut out on it own the second morning so could not do hot breakfast until I contact the help no later in the day who were helpful with the reset procedure. This must happen frequently so handy instructions pinned nearby would help. Otherwise a very good stay.

My friend (her miniature dashuund) and I stayed at the property for May bank holiday weekend. We had a great stay there. There is a butcher's shop just 2 mins down the road where you can buy food, it's 10/20 min walk to Runswick bay where we started our hike. The house was clean and had everything we needed, we had breakfast and a glass of wine before dinner in the back garden. I would stay there again.

The Host and Stay team where very quick to respond to my queries. The property was immaculate and in an excellent location. Can definitely recommend.

The house has at least 3 rooms that have digital locks on preventing access . This is not in the listing .You expect when you rent the whole property for all areas to be available.

There is a lounge that is locked , which has windows to the front and glass doors to the rear area looking straight into the kitchen. This hinders your privacy . The neighbours opposite look straight through the lounge into the kitchen , which affects your privacy . If this room is locked preventing access then the blinds should have been closed in this room to guarantee privacy from the neighbours.

The light above the kitchen sink works intermittently , flashing on and off and at other times not switching on.

Instructions for all the appliances should be at hand , we had to establish how things worked before use.

And yes of course the garden furniture was not usable due to being broken and not assembled correctly and being all loose, which made them unsafe to use. This was annoying given the weather experienced this week we were unable to sit outside to eat at mealtimes.

Well-appointed house with good range of crockery, pans, cooking utensils and dishes. Clean and well-decorated in restful colours. Delightful communal spaces.
Great location for exploring Alnwick and the area.

Fabulous holiday home, plenty of room and space. Lovely comfortable beds, the top Attic rooms do get warm and the last few steps are a killer but generally very lovely house with a 10 minute walk down into the town. Great week away

Fantastic apartment in a great location close to the centre of Whitby. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed for a really enjoyable stay.

Host and Stay were very good to deal with. Lots of information given about the house we were renting before we arrived. We were kept updated throughout the stay. The property was accurately described and was spotless on arrival. I can definitely recommend Host and Stay! Thank you

Great staff and location. Stayed here before and always enjoyed our stay. Happy WiFi is more available and bigger TV's in rooms.
