Clean and spacious gym. Enjoyed my day pass and definitely plan on coming back. Took part in a hot yoga class which was at a good level for a beginner. Teacher was very helpful and clear in her direction. All round positive experience :)

Fantastic gym best in Eastbourne

Every encounter I've had with the staff at GL has been a positive experience. The staff are short friendly, helpful, and supportive.

George and Josh at the Crawley location are great. They are professional, have a welcoming demeanor, and create a positive atmosphere for all.

Absolutely appalling treatment from this gym over ONE missed payment of £36.99 after being a loyal paying member. I froze my membership for a month during an incredibly difficult time following a family bereavement and other distressing life events, and despite explaining my situation and responding to them, they still chose to send aggressive messages threatening “collections”, extra fees, and even county court action over such a small amount.

What’s most shocking is the complete lack of compassion or basic human understanding. Instead of speaking to me respectfully or offering support, they repeatedly pressured me with intimidating emails and texts, making an already difficult period even more stressful. I even replied confirming a payment date and this was outright refused. They then continued with threatening language as if I were deliberately avoiding payment.

For a company that claims to care about its members, their behaviour was cold, unprofessional, and frankly disgusting. Loyal customers should not be treated like criminals over a single missed payment, especially during a personal crisis.

There are plenty of gyms out there — save yourself the stress and go somewhere that values people over profits. I would never recommend this company to anyone. 1 star is generous.

Gym equipment is decent but the service is bottom of the barrel. Never anybody working in the gym and god forbid your a day late paying, or want to cancel they will harass you with aggressive communication and fake CCJ claims that they clearly have no idea how to even trigger. They have no legal knowledge or training and refuse to engage to resolve it. The company management is a good joke which is a shame for what could be a good gym experience.

Terrible customer service, only focused on taking money. The gym is self needs updating, cramped changing rooms. Equipment was poorly maintained. For the price there are way more btter gyms in the same area.

Love being a member of the Watford gym. The gym is so huge, that even at peak times there is enough equipment to go around. Staff are friendly and helpful too.

Founder member since the gym opened on 01.11.2024, so this is based on long-term experience rather than a one-off issue.

The gym itself is well-equipped and you can get good sessions in.

However, a recent change moved parking away from the gym to a further location.

In reality, this noticeably reduces convenience and affects how practical it is to train consistently, especially around work or in the evenings.

What really changed my view was how this was handled.

Despite being a long-standing member who has always paid on time, my concerns were met with a completely rigid, policy-driven response, with no willingness to apply any flexibility or find a reasonable resolution.

The situation was treated very transactionally rather than with any consideration for member loyalty.

To make matters worse, a £20 late fee was applied while the issue was still being actively discussed, which felt unnecessary and disproportionate given the circumstances.

I understand businesses have operational challenges, but how members are treated when problems arise is what defines the experience — and this fell well short.

Unfortunately, this is what led me to leave.

Worth considering if you’re choosing a gym in Crawley and value both convenience and how you’re treated as a member.

Gym Location Watford is a disappointment.

Gym Location have asked Trustpilot for more details to better understand my experience. It is a shame that they can message Trustpilot but can't reply to my 3 emails already sent. Another email with full details has been sent to Gym Location as of 04/05/26.

A fully detailed review is to follow once I have received a response to the issues I have raised with the company.

Gym Location Crawley is a great gym. Is the perfect place for a hybrid athlete. Has loads of machines both pin and plate loaded, and also has a brilliant cardio section on the 2nd floor. Gym Crawley offers classes too, so it caters for everyone in their fitness journey. Would highly recommend!

Joined a few months back and this is hands down the best gym I’ve been to. Plenty of equipment for any workout, staff are friendly and helpful and they keep everything spick and span. Couldn’t recommend enough
