Gym Location Crawley is a great gym. Is the perfect place for a hybrid athlete. Has loads of machines both pin and plate loaded, and also has a brilliant cardio section on the 2nd floor. Gym Crawley offers classes too, so it caters for everyone in their fitness journey. Would highly recommend!

Joined a few months back and this is hands down the best gym I’ve been to. Plenty of equipment for any workout, staff are friendly and helpful and they keep everything spick and span. Couldn’t recommend enough

Gym Location.. what a place to go! Great community of people, supportive staff and unrivalled facilities & kit. Glad I found this place, has become my second home ☺️

Avoid joining this gym me and my son Freddie joined this gym I then left aftet a few months due to watching a young girl physically assaulted by another female member in the gym (which I have a crime reference number for)also cleanliness and the lack of proper maintenance to the gym the mens toilets always stunk of urine at night cupboards and lockers in the changing room were regularly broken due to cheap equipment The management are obsessed with trying to fine members and are regularly taking unauthorised money out of peoples accounts there are also posters put up in the gym encouraging members to inform on other members so they can fine them for not putting equipment away I have since joined any time fitness that are clean have a much better management team much better equipment and a network of gyms all over London that can be used for your monthly fee avoid this gym and check other local gyms that are a lot better value for money in the area
The gym will reply with with a untrue excuse I left this gym of my own accord due to the bad management ment and joined anytime fitness Sutton which I am currently a member of be warned letting this gym have your debit card details

Since my original review, the owner has continued to contact me with abusive and unprofessional messages rather than addressing my concerns. This aggressive response to criticism confirms my original view of the management. I would advise anyone considering this gym to look at how the owner interacts with members who raise issues."

I signed up via a £5 rest of the month deal , two days after I signed up my 13 year old went into Diabetic ketoacidosis he was in hospital for over two weeks on his death bed. I had completely forgotten I signed for the gym and had all intentions of paying future months etc however I was still in the hospital when I received 11 messages demanding the gym membership fee for February. As a result of the additional needs my son already has ( autism and is non verbal ) he needs 24 hour care because of his condition now and his school cannot look after him anymore I have had to give up my job, I begged pleaded for them to cancel the gym membership I have never stepped foot in the gym and won’t be able to now. They said the only reason you can ever leave without paying for the whole year is if you move where there is no other location . I explained these things don’t happen every day and because I have never been before could they please make exception . They said they couldn’t. I am now without a job a child with a life threating condition no way I can attend the gym even if I want to . They have placed a county court on me straight away even though I provided evidence of how much this has impacted my mental health. I could not help my son got ill I cannot help I had to give up my job. As result of them filling a county court I will have to register as homeless as my landlord will not allow me to renew my contract. Doesn’t matter how much I have pleaded and begged it has got me no where. Yes I signed the contract stupidly not thinking this would happen but be careful ever signing as you will be affected straight away . The most vile company and no regard for peoples health . I once again beg you reconsider please have some compassion don’t screw up my children’s entire future.

UPDATE: THEY ARE NOW THREATENING TO SUE ME FOR DEFAMATION FOR LEAVING A BAD REVIEW. INTIMIDATION TACTICS. AVOID THESE LOWLIFE SCUM!!!

Good facilities, but the customer service is awful and extremely predatory. They make up extra fees that are not mentioned anywhere in the terms and conditions in order to rip you off for cancelling your membership, and are not capable of admitting or discussing their mistakes in an intelligent way.

Will be standing my ground against them out of principle. Shame because the gym itself is good, just run by scumbags.

Eastbourne gym looks great in the pictures and when you initially walk in. But the machines are cheap and rattly. I don’t feel comfortable on the heavy leg press, especially when I’m pushing big weights. The staff used to be friendly but seem to have new management who are not so interactive. My pal got fined for accidentally forgetting to put his weights away, instead of someone coming down from the office upstairs and talking with him, politely asking to not forget to clear up after yourself he was issued a fine and the money was taken straight from his bank account. Great initially but not for me. I didn’t have the best experience there. Parking fines resulted in me paying £60 when they introduced parking restrictions then changed their mind and did away with them. The main thing is the management. Very rude and unprofessional, lots of staring and whispering. I’ve worked in plenty of gyms and I’m a level 2 fitness instructor, I have kettlebells level 2 instruction also. Shame really because it looks great and the layout is perfect. Staff let it down unfortunately.

Your friend left 270kg on a barbell and then left the gym. As you can imagine, this is extremely frustrating for other members.
We do make it very clear that a £5 fine will be charged for leaving weights out.

You made it clear that the multiple gyms you used while in prison were were much better. We agree they are probably better suited for you.

We also had to cancel your membership due to aggressive and threatening behaviour towards staff. We do not tolerate that kind of attitude here but wish you the best of luck finding a more suited facility.

In response to this guy, Dan ☝🏽 the owner - “the man, the myth, the legend” the same guy who calls everyone when they leave his gym. I’ve used his first name, as he’s used mine but his full name is on my google review as they have different policies on posting reviews.

He rang my phone on Saturday morning (1st November) and started quizzing me as to why I left his facility. Telling me that his equipment was the best and that it was supposed to break when it first gets set up, which is why one of the hack squat machines was out of service for weeks. When I told him I didn’t want to discuss it further, he called me a MUG. This is great business etiquette and makes for a very professional service! Perhaps he can put his ego aside for a moment and take some constructive criticism about the cheap machinery he’s using. The gym looks great from a distance but scratch below the surface and the cracks are starting to show.

Also FYI it was 140 kilos. Slightly less dramatic than you appear to have described, but still a reasonable amount of weight nonetheless.

And you didn’t cancel my membership. I cancelled it, which is why you called me in the first place, because your massive ego got the better of you yet again. Anyone reading this review should look a bit deeper into these google reviews and trust pilot. This guy loves to argue publicly at members who leave his gym. The only person who was threatening on the phone was you, all because I cancelled my membership….

Honestly the best gym I’ve been to. The place is always clean, the equipment works great, and there’s never a bad vibe. The staff are super friendly and actually make you feel comfortable, which makes a huge difference.

I like that there’s a mix of everything—weights, cardio, classes—so it never gets boring. People here are chill too, no ego or judgment, just everyone trying to get better.

If you’re looking for a place that feels welcoming but still pushes you to do your best, this is it. Highly recommend!
