We inspire and supports a community of talented fiber artists, while encouraging the less expert among us to discover and enjoy the pleasures of textures and colors. Fūnem Studio is founded in 2015 by fashion designer Jantine van Peski to share her love for textiles, craftsmanship and her passion for weaving. Many years of creating textile objects provided her with in-depth knowledge of different materials and crafting supplies which resulted in a high quality collection of tools, yarns and wool. We make weaving accessible to everyone, while providing community experts with a consistent variety of the highest quality materials and kits to allow them to continue to grow. Offering you modern compositions and designs while encouraging the practice of an ancestral technique is our daily challenge. Le cadre est bien, mais pas de mode d'emploi ni de peigne fournit, ce qui donne une impression de matériel incomplet, surtout pour le novice.

Malheureusement même si j’aime beaucoup dce qu’ils font. Mauvaise expérience pour moi.
1/ la commande n’arrivant pas j’ai du envoyer un mail. Réponse le lendemain la commande est partie ce jour…
2/ je reçois la commande il manque 300g de fil
3/ pas de tutoriel dans le mail, j’envoie une demande. Je reçois un tutoriel en anglais
4/ service après vente m’envoie une réponse et me propose de m’envoyer 500G ça c’est cool. Par contre pas de retour pour le tutoriel en français pour le moment

Nous n'avons pas pu vous envoyer les 300g de fil car nous n'avions pas de stock disponible. Ne vous inquiétez pas, nous vous avons déjà envoyé une commande pour une autre couleur qui devrait vous parvenir dans les prochains jours.
Enfin, le tutoriel n'est disponible qu'en anglais (c'est indiqué sur la Q/A du produit), c'est pourquoi nous n'avons pas pu vous l'envoyer en français.
Nous nous excusons pour la gêne occasionnée et espérons que votre nouvelle commande arrivera bientôt et que vous pourrez en profiter.

Der Webrahmen hat mich überzeugt. Sehr schön verarbeitet und schnell im Aufbau. Das Garn gefällt mir und die Anleitungen sind gut. Größere Fotos wären schön, wenn man in Zweifel ist, ob alles richtig ist. Einziger Mangel ist die Info von der belgischen Post. Das führt zu Irritationen.

This loom is a quality product and I would purchase from this company again.
I received my loom, and the clamps that I ordered at a later date, in a remarkably short period of time. They were both well-packaged. I am impressed with the quality of this cleverly designed loom and am eager to begin my first tapestry with it.

Shipping was fast
Shipping was fast. Faster than I expected. The loom is well made. But after putting in the brace bars, I do not think that it will be easy or practical to take apart and store in the bag. Also the wing nuts are a bit in the way and yarn tends to catch on them while I am working.

Tutorial Problem
The English description of the tutorial kits did not say they were only designed for Large or X-Large looms. I have a Medium.

We are very sorry for the inconvenience. We specify the following in the product description: "The final size of a Large placemat is 25,5cm x 35,5cm / 10” x 14” and of an XL placemat is 31cm x 43cm / 12.25” x 17”."
and then, if you choose the loom option, you can only choose between the large or xl size. We apologize and thank you for your comment.
Ordering, shipping and product review...
Ordering your available products online was seamless and good. The quality of the products, upon receipt of my order, was excellent. However, when the box arrived it was mangled and therefore a miracle that all of my ordered weaving items were intact without damage. The box clearly was damaged and partially opened on one end. If Funem Studio were to use sturdier packaging for international shipping, I would gladly order again in the near future and recommend your business, because I love the quality of your products.
