Your meals are the best

My husband and I were initially very happy with the meals and also with the deliveries we had received as the 2 different couriers rang our entry phone or gained access and came up to our flat and rang our own bell. I left instructions on the couriers app to leave on my doormat ONLY if Im out. However, with the most recent order last Friday DPD chose to just gain entry and dump the box on the ground floor next to the lift where many people pass by so not safe at all and it's a narrow area. I messaged Field Dr and no doubt it was a A1 waffling reply. I was told someone would get back to me. I sent a follow up email but they still ignored me. Nobody has bothered at all. Hence me doing this review. Out of courtesy a real person could have got back to me. Obviously we will no longer be ordering as will not risk the box being left downstairs or where they decide they want to leave it and not bothering ringing our bell or getting in lift to go up tobour flat. We understand they have no control over the couriers but as a customer expecting a frozen food delivery we are not taking any chances in the future. If we had been out I dread to think what could have happened. We would not want to be out and see the photo of it outside the lift on the ground floor.

Disappointing food and equally bad customer service. The meals with rice are about 80% rice…and look nothing like the pictures on the website. The mac and cheese is woeful. And if you raise issues they just tell you to choose different dishes rather than listening to the feedback. What I’ll do is choose a different meal provider, thanks!

I was so looking forward to these meals being gluten & lactose intolerant. I ordered 7 meals of which I have tried the chicken & potatoes & the salmon.
The chicken meal when cooked resembled my dogs dinner with rock hard potatoes on top having fully cooked it in the oven for the recommended time. A plate of mush was how I would describe it.
The salmon wasn’t any better with hardly any salmon pieces & the remainder of the dish once again resembling mush.
The remaining 5 meals have been thrown away.
Sorry to post this review but was so disappointed.

Enjoyable healthy meals - this is the 3rd meal prep range I've tried and I'm enjoying it. It's clear they're pitching to a slightly different audience. For me, I would say the frozen option works better than fresh as I don't have the panic towards the end of the week if haven't got through my fresh meals and they are about to go past their best. They are safely in the freezer staying fresh for a very long time, so there is less waste. They taste considerably healthier than the other Fresh meal preps I've tried. They feel and taste more balanced in terms of protein/carb/veg mix where as the others I've tried have been protein heavy(deliberately) and often highly seasoned and don't have the same free from UPFs promise.
These taste 'cleaner' but sometimes I do have to add salt, as they are veering on bland for my taste without it.
From an online point of view I MUCH prefer the experience with Field Doctor and the editing /cancelling/skipping a week is much easier and more intuitive. The dates make sense and they give you plenty of warning when you're about to go past your cut off. The customer support is better too, and I prefer the packaging. It looks and feels better to me, from a design and recycling point of view.

I used to end up dreading the mounting fresh meals in the fridge, now I don't have this at a all.

The flip side is I'm getting less protein overall from these meals which was one of my objectives, but I am enjoying the way the meals make me feel and they are slightly less calorific over all which is a bonus.

Customer service was exceptional. I as the customer made a mistake with my order and field doctor-Beth in particular was very helpful . The company were accommodating of my mistake and generous in the way they dealt with it.

Field Doctor meals have been great for me. I’m gluten and dairy intolerant with a mild soya allergy so it’s difficult to find ready meals anyway. But these ones are healthy and are helping me to save my precious energy as someone suffering from moderate/severe ME/CFS and POTS. It’s such a comfort to know I’ve got a stash of healthy ready meals in my freezer so I can still eat well and healthily. They are easy to order, I still get plenty of choice and they are delivered reliably once a week for me. Perfect.

First off the food is really nice, you can tell it’s healthy and I feel better eating it. Deliveries have been great and always well informed.

I had to contact customer services once and they replied in under five minutes and corrected the small issue I had straight away.

Really good food, with a great variety! Delivery is reliable, and easy to adjust to suit your requirements. Field Doctor has made it possible for me to have tasty nutritious meals, even after a long day at work.

Great service and tasty meals

A good range of high quality, tasty meals, in decent sized portions, delivered ready frozen so they go straight into the freezer, and are cooked in the microwave in just 8 minutes.
I find these a lifesaver when I get home very tired, or just need a meal in a hurry.
And best of all, they are heathy and good for you!

Always been happy with my orders and have liked the meals I have ordered. Communication is good and my order was well packed

I am so glad I did the one off order and not the subscription. I have been in hospital and have only tried 2 so far. The chicken tagine and the chicken paella. Neither looked appealing to someone who has been ill, tasted similar and bland with tiny bits of tough chicken. When it arrived I wasnt completely sure it was still frozen. The porridge was alright but why wouldnt it be it is just porridge. I tried to give the rest away but after seeing my face there were no takers. I think you need better chefs and better chicken.

I ordered a Field Doctor delivery for my elderly parents after my mum had had a small stroke and neither of them were eating properly. I ordered dishes from the cardiovascular plan and they love them! It’s so convenient and I’ve just placed a second order for them. Thank you.

I was so happy to find vegan, low fodmap ready meals! I’ve been going through a really difficult time recently and so haven’t been eating well, and these meals have been a real game changer for me 😊

Full time working parent going through menopause and dealing with the inevitable weight gain. Finding time for meal preparation is really difficult but Field Doctor solves that. The meals are delicious! I cannot recommend highly enough!

The food is delicious and very convenient. There hasn’t been a meal that l have not enjoyed.
