Instructions are awful, putting one meal in the microwave for 3 minutes led to the 800w microwave blowing up & having to purchase a new one. Quality of the meat is poor lumps of fat in the steak so... Vis mer

I am really enjoying the variety of meals in my box and the quality. So far there has only been one meal that I didn't like, all the rest have scored 10/10. Thank you Jane Plan for making dieting so simple.
The food preparation is questionable. Beware of the rice… on opening a chicken korma I found that the rice was mouldy! The offer by Customer Services to replace it seemed absurd to me considering that several other meals did not taste ‘right’ - and my stomach did not thank me for eating them regardless. So it has put me off big time. Their reasoning was that it sometimes happens as preservatives are not needed because of the ‘unique way’ in which the meals are prepared and that ‘maybe the packaging was damaged and air got inside’… but the packaging was not damaged. The pre-cooked meals have a best by date of over a year and are to be kept in a cupboard, so that should be a red flag from the outset especially for those with a sensitive stomach. My attempt to cancel was met with absolute refusal unless I paid £150 which was the amount of discount I received for my first (and last) month’s discount. So all in all not a good experience and certainly not worth nearly £300 per month, especially if they end up in the bin.
I am delighted with this diet plan. The food is enjoyable and real with lots of variety.
I had to change my payment date and I sent an email to see if this could be arranged. Less than two hours later I received an email from Lulu stating that it had been changed to the date I needed. Very quick service and one thing less I have to worry about.
Jane Plan have a really excellent customer service (Lulu today!). They respond quickly to emails and are very helpful and friendly.
I have had a wonderful time choosing the different meals been quite exciting and also by losing 2lb a week so far
Very disappointed with customer service.
Originally signed up for injections to help with weight loss, after submitting photo’s I then became anxious about possible side effects and emailed to request switching to the meal plan choice. 4 days elapsed with no contact from them and I then discovered yesterday that my payment had been refunded but no explanation given. What a way to treat new customers.
I felt pressured into buying more when I told you I didn't want anymore than 28 days plan. And also for paying more money to opt out of a plan that I didn't join in the 1st place.

I started Jane Plan a week ago, i signed up for 8 months as i have 5 stone to lose, i was nervous about the food after some reviews but i like it, im veggie and there is loads of options for me, in one week i have lost 8lbs and i also used to take loads of paracetomol as i get lots of headaches, i have not had one headache all week, my diet was pretty poor before starting Jane Plan and 8 months seems a big commitment but not really if my overall health improves.

I started Jane plan in March.
I managed to lose 5 pounds in one month. I found most of the meals appetising. some of my favourites were beef lasagne, honey & Soy Chicken, Vanilla porridge and the tasty snacks. Easy to make, saving time as microwavable
When meals were damaged I emailed and received replacements. Marnie was very efficient in dealing with my queries.
I decided to end my subscription after 2 months as I believe I now have the tools to eat healthy, understand about portion control and staying active. Marnie clearly explained my options. I emailed her to advise which option I would be taking and this was followed up. Will continue with the meals I have and hope to continue losing the weight
Marnie was very understanding and gave excellent Customer Service

I am writing this as a warning to anyone considering Jane Plan. This service has been a total nightmare from a customer service and value perspective.
The Issues:
Subpar Food Quality: The main reason I signed up was for a premium meal service, but the food is nowhere near the standard I expected for the price. It is poor quality, and frankly, I feel the contract was essentially broken because the product delivered didn't match what was promised.
Shocking Customer Service: Trying to cancel is an uphill battle. I’ve been met with nothing but resistance and "shocking" service.
Contradictory Information: When I requested to cancel, I was given two completely different figures for the "difference" I had to pay to settle the account. They can’t even give me a straight answer on what I owe.
The "Exit Fee" Trap: Because the quality was so low, I wanted out. Now, I’m being forced to pay a penalty just to stop receiving food I don’t want for the next 8 months.

I have lost over a stone, and have two more to go! I am pleased with that. However, my latest box has been delivered to the wrong address so I'm now waiting on Jane plan replying to my email! I can't fetch the box, it's too heavy and I don't drive. I have paid for delivery and it's a few streets away from where I live!
