HomeCooks is built around one simple idea: you shouldn’t have to choose between food that tastes amazing and food that’s good for you.
That’s why we work with independent chefs and food businesses from across the UK to create a huge variety of meals inspired by authentic recipes, cultures and cuisines. It means flavour is never an afterthought, and neither is nutrition.
The result is healthy food you genuinely look forward to. High-protein, nutritionally balanced meals made with quality ingredients you’d recognise and ready in minutes.
With hundreds of dishes to choose from, eating well is easier, more varied and a lot more enjoyable.

Super easy ordering
I haven’t received or tried any of the food yet, but the ordering process was so simple and clear - looking forward to trying my first meals!

Some very lovely meals
Some very lovely meals. Even ones that aren't my thing are still well made and offer a balanced choice.

Totally delicious
The dishes are flavourful and absolutely delicious. Definitely worth the hype and I will be back for more. Also like the fact the foods are divides so not everything is mushed together. Just love, love, love it.

Super impressed: ridiculously tasty food, great portion sizes. Very happy!
This is my first time ordering with Home Cooks and I am so impressed! The food is ridiculously tasty and the portion sizes are really generous. I had the garlic schnitzel last night and courgette lasagne this evening. The ingredients are so good and I can really taste the quality. Really looking forward to upcoming meals.

Had first order delivered today
Had first order delivered today. Meals were all seeping out of their packaging and leaking into the surrounding foil. Food 'juice' everywhere. When looking to pack them into the fridge by date it transpired that they have to be eaten within 3 days if not frozen. Nowhere on their website does it state meals need to be frozen. With 6 meals I cannot eat them within 3 days. Immediately the delivery came I tried to contact the company for their comments etc and nothing received VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Hi Debbie,
Thanks for the feedback. Just to clarify a couple of points, the storage information is available on our website pre-purchase under the “How it works” page (home-cooks.co.uk/pages/how-it-works), including the fact that meals should be transferred to the freezer on arrival. On the response time side, a team member has already replied to you this morning. Our standard response window is within 24 hours.

Ordered expecting the same old meal…
Ordered expecting the same old meal prep that gets boring after half a week. Shocking surprise, the meals taste amazing and reheat really well. Just placed my 2nd order with more meals as there was nothing delivered that I wouldn't eat again so far.

First order
Placed my first order to try out the service, and was pleasantly surprised by the broad range of choices and the good quality of the meals. Everything comes with ice packs so it stays fresh on the journey.
I wish it was easier to filter out foods based on certain ingredients (preference, not allergy related) and better descriptors for spice levels.

Delish!
The very first meal I tried in my HomeCooks delivery and it was absolutely delicious! Everything was seasoned perfectly and the portion size was perfect. I like that the box has sections so the sides don't get mixed in with the main dish. Really delicious and looking forward to trying my other meals!
