Been traveling with EF for two years in a row now. They’re reliable in their transportation and planning. The guides always have extra places to offer to you go when there is free time. It’s nice to be able to travel with others. I never had any issues with other travelers, and there’s usually around 30-35 people, so there’s lots of room and space to make friends and mingle with everyone. Love EF!

I’ve never traveled abroad, and I had my first experience with EF. Leading up to the trip, I felt comfortable because of the amount of information they gave me. I felt adequately prepared and that’s exactly how you want to feel when you’re going into a new experience! The actual trip was incredible too! My tour director was awesome and made me feel so comfortable with the travel. She provided so many added experiences to our trip that really enhanced the overall trip. From the second day of my trip, I was already planning my next one! Highly recommend taking a trip with EF, it is so nice to travel with a company where you don’t have to worry about the little things.

This was my second trip with EF, and they again did not disappoint! I did miss the Welcome Dinner for the second time as well due to cancelled/delayed flights, but that was not their fault and my guide was keeping in touch whenever possible. I embarked on the "Rome, the Amalfi Coast & Greece: Plus" adventure this time, and was amazed at how guided yet freeing this experience was. Despite missing out on the tour of the Colosseum the first day, I got to go on my own at night, which was amazing.

If you are a solo traveler, but don't like to plan your own trips, aren't sure where to start, want to make new friends, or just see the world, EF is a great place to start!

This was my first trip with EF. I have traveled with other companies in the past, but EF is by far the most well organized and thoughtful about their trip planning. All of the in between like buses, taxis, and other logistics was made easy by EF. I never felt stressed about getting anywhere and felt that I could really enjoy each spot that we traveled to. Sometimes I felt like we could spend more time in each place, but we made great use of the time that we did have. Even though the weather wasn’t great, our tour director, Andreas planned alternative activities and made sure we didn’t miss out on anything. EF clearly picks the best tour directors and I hope that my future trips will be just as great. Shout out one more time to Andreas for making my Greece trip the best ever! I will be booking again soon!

EF was my first trip outside of the country and I loved everything about it. Being able to split the payments and book everything together made it very easy. All I had to do was show up and enjoy myself. Yorgos was an amazing tour guide. Always there if you needed him. Had a lot of knowledge and suggestions of places to see at each spot. I am not sure how my trip to the greek islands can be topped.

The main drawback of this trip was the group size—over 40 travelers—which felt excessive. The group dynamic suffered as a result; most people stuck to the friends or family they came with, and there was a noticeable lack of cohesion or camaraderie. A smaller group would have likely created a more connected and enjoyable experience. Our tour guide, Saki, was fantastic. She offered excellent suggestions and was helpful throughout the trip. That said, I strongly urge EF to stick to the published itinerary. On the final leg of our journey, we were originally scheduled to leave Kyoto for Osaka in the morning and visit Osaka Castle at 10 AM. Based on this schedule, we purchased tickets for Universal Studios accordingly. However, just a day before departure, EF informed us that the group would not leave Kyoto until 10 AM—making it impossible to keep our Universal reservation. As a result, two of us had to navigate three different train transfers during peak commute hours just to make it on time. It was stressful and disappointing. Additionally, the tour description mentioned a cruise on Lake Ashi, which sounded like a highlight—but in reality, it turned out to be just a brief 7-minute boat ride. These kinds of small but important details are not clearly communicated, and it felt misleading. I’ve traveled with other companies that limit group sizes to 15–20 people, and the experiences were far superior. Unfortunately, this trip with EF did not meet those standards. This will be my first and last trip with EF.

This was my first trip with EF and it did not disappoint! What attracted me was the ability to pay monthly and the group setting. I really enjoyed how everything was structured. We were able to come together but also had the freedom to venture off on our own. Our tour guide was great, you can tell he really enjoys this job. The hostels weren't the most comfortable but other than that I had a wonderful time. Would recommend this to anyone and everyone! 10/10 experience!

Our tour guide Roxie was great, the local lodging accommodations were much nicer than I had originally anticipated, the tours and scheduled activities were phenomenal, and the free time was spent making lifelong connections! I would kill to do this trip again!

I just got back from my 4th trip with the company, EF ultimate break. Each trip has been very unique and rewarding in its own way. However, Spanish road trip is my absolute favorite itinerary with them and is my #1 destination. I only have great things to say about this travel company. They really go above and beyond in making all of our experiences top notch. You will definitely feel safe and will be in good hands.

Recently went on Italy Ultimate Break and all I can say is wow! What an unforgettable experience! Every moment of this trip was nothing short of amazing. Our tour director made it such a breeze and was very knowledgeable. I can't wait for my next trip with EF!

This was my second trip with EF, and they do not disappoint! Our tour guide Dario was fabulous, the group was wonderful, the price was great, and I didn’t have to plan anything except how many souvenirs I was going to be able to fit in my luggage! I would highly recommend traveling with EF Ultimate Break!

EF is an amazing way to travel, particularly if you are a solo traveler who is a little hesitant to do things completely alone. The tour director of our trip was incredible, the people on the trip were lovely, and the whole experience was unmatched. I would have never been able to take such an expansive trip without EF. Highly recommend!

I had really good time definitely worth it if anyone’s on the fence just do it. I had a wonderful group a really good tour director no issues it was really magical and exceeded my expectations .

The company does a great job at taking on all the logistics of the trip and makes you pay a simple one amount fee! My trip to Thailand was one I’ll never forget! Definitely recommend them as I have 3 different trips booked this year!

I've taken two trips with EF and have one scheduled in a few months. I've truly had a great time on each trip! It's really easy to make friends and it's so nice to be on a trip with other adventurous people who also love experiencing diverse cultures. I love traveling but hate planning, EF plans out everything and makes the trips, transport, and activities easy!

Communications with the team before the trip were great and prompt. Our tour guide Georgios was the ABSOLUTE BEST!!! He was super knowledgeable, friendly, welcoming, and approachable. All of the excursions were an absolute blast and Georgios always went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. I met a ton of great people and would love to do another trip with EF Ultimate Break.

Every time I go on an EF trip, I come home and immediately book my next one!

I have done two trips now with EF Ultimate Break, and I have two more booked for 2025. I LOVE this company, and I wish I had found it sooner, as I'm "aging out" at almost 35 years old! The company plans everything for you, and you can read reviews beforehand to really get an idea of what the experience will be like. They give you a "know before you go" pamphlet, and it's literally the equivalent of the company taking the mental load of planning and considerations and giving you all the info you need. The tour guides are so professional, the customer service is fantastic, and the travel insurance is wonderful too (I've used once on each of my trips for different reasons, and a EF Ultimate break representative was there with me every step of the way). You also can't beat the prices, even if you were to plan a similar trip, it would cost the same if not more. Also, the people on these trips are great. Everyone is open to making new friendships, and I love that. Highly recommend traveling with EF!

Went on my first EF trip with one of my best friends this summer to the Greek Islands. When they say stress free planning they really mean it. I really got to sit back, relax, and be totally present on this trip. I did not have to worry about a single scheduling thing and it was worth every penny. Next time I think I would spurge on there “plus” trips for a little more luxury. But I will definitely be looking into trips with EF in the future.
