I've had an absolutely horrific experience with this company. I have astygmatism so I can't wear coloured lenses, I need specific toric lenses. I came across Desio Lens online, saw the reviews and thought it would be a good shout to try their coloured toric lenses. I ordered the Precious Grey lenses, which, on the model who supposedly has 'brown eyes', they look completely fine on. On me? I looked like a ghost. The colour was too ashy, ghostlike and just not what they displayed on their website.

I contacted them and spoke to a customer service agent who, after a lot of back and forth, offered me a replacement (they had sent me a complimentary lens, ONE, not a pair, but ONE eye, contact lense of two other colours which I tried and liked the brown one). I told them I'll take the honey brown. They informed me I had to return the precious grey first, they provided me with the details on how to do this etc. I did this in early december. It has been 7 weeks and my parcel is sitting with customs in Italy. I did exactly as they asked, but for some reason customs won't release the parcel to them. I have proof of this. I sent them the proof, they didn't reply to my emails anymore. I followed up, and after three emails, they finally replied and gave me the same response 'we need to receive the lenses before we send you a new pair', at this point, I don't even want a new pair. I just want my refund. This parcel has been in their country, in their customs, for weeks and weeks now. How is that my problem? First, you advertise an inaccurate colour. If your model really had dark brown eyes, those lenses SHOULD have suited my eyes just fine. Then, you don't reply to my emails. THEN you make me pay for a return from LONDON to ITALY, and THEN you just ghost me. Wow.

What an unprofessional, inadequate company. A waste of money. An absolute waste of money. I would NEVER recommend this company to ANYONE.

Beautiful 3 tones
The charming green and tender hazel from the 3 tone collection are beautiful and realistic looking. Tender hazel is the most unique color and I get the most compliments from this lens. I just wish both these colors had a darker limbal ring. Shipping to the USA was 3 days.

Fantastic products and even better customer service! I’ve been buying Desio contacts for several years and I have loved the variety of colours that is offered here. I always get compliments on whatever colour that I wear and I love how comfortable they are…. I wear prescription contacts and I will never wear anything else! Very Pari are a very beautiful violet blue that reminds me of Elizabeth Taylor's eye color...I had to have them!

The best thing I've found with Desio contact lens is they have so many colors for those of us that are farsighted (hyperopia) prescription!
All FDA approved as well!

Very disappointing experience.
I purchased Desio contacts and genuinely tried to make them work, but they caused severe light sensitivity, redness, and eye discharge. It became so noticeable that people regularly asked why my eyes were red, and I had to wear sunglasses just to tolerate light. I have documented proof of eye irritation and doctor visits, yet Desio still made the refund process unnecessarily difficult.
Requiring inspection or return of used contact lenses that caused medical symptoms is unreasonable and unhygienic. On top of that, the lens color did not match what was advertised.
For a company selling products that go directly into the eyes, the lack of accountability and concern for customer safety is unacceptable. I will not be purchasing again and strongly advise others to proceed with caution.

I am absolutely disappointed with the huge decrease in quality and service within Desio.
I have been a loyal customer for more than 10 years.This year, Desio got purchased by another company and all my recent orders have been a disaster. Not only the lenses are being received ripped or getting ripped in a week, but they have become so thin, and also, I received the wrong ones more than once. Contacting their Support was very difficult and challenging and all they could say in the end was to return the wrong lenses at my expenses. Besides, I have worn these contacts for so many years, I perfectly know how to stock them and suddenly, my eyes started being itchy and red and painful. I immediately tried another brand and did not have the same problem.
Desio have definitely lost me but I'm writing this comment to warn people not to wast their money.

Purtroppo la mia esperienza con le lenti Desio è stata pessima. Le lenti si seccano sull’occhio dopo pochissimo tempo, provocando bruciore e sensazione di corpo estraneo. Impossibile tenerle più di 20–30 minuti. Ho provato più volte, cambiando soluzione e facendo attenzione all’applicazione, ma il problema si ripete sempre.
Inoltre, nonostante siano nuove, il materiale sembra rigido e poco traspirante. Una delusione totale, soprattutto considerando il prezzo. Non le ricomprerei e non le consiglierei, soprattutto a chi ha occhi sensibili.

Ich bin langjährige Kundin. Ich mag die Farben Angebote sehr. Allerdings find ich das die aktuellen shameless hazel mir extrem rote Augen machen. Als ich den Kundenservice anschrieb, wollten sie Fotos haben. Ich hab alles gesendet, aber es reichte nicht, später kam dann das Verlangen eines ärztlichen Attest usw. Ansonsten wurde unterteilt dass ich diese falsch benutzt habe. Ich trage seit 20 Jahre Kontaktlinsen. Ich war dann mit dem Kundenservice überfordert und habe aufgehört zu hoffen das man mir neue sendet oder mein Geld erstattet. Das find ich nicht gut.

The most comfortable and real looking color contact lenses i wore. I was wearing romantic blue, now precious grey and they are both beautiful and comfortable.

I’ve been wearing colored contact lenses since 2005 without any issues. Recently, after switching to Just4Kira and Urban Layer, I developed severe blepharitis with a chalazion. I have been using Desio Lenses since 2018, and I noticed a decline in quality. I used to be able to wear these contacts without any issues, but recently I can only wear them for 2 hours at the very most. They make my eyes incredibly dry, and make them burn. My vision starts to get a bit blurry and it even got to a point where I was seeing double vision but when I took them out and put my glasses on, it was perfectly fine. So, it wasn’t my eye sight that was causing the issue. I have spent so much money on these, and they have always been my favorite go-to contacts. I love the Cappuccino contacts, they give me the perfect “otherworldly” look but still natural that I die for. But the fact that I can only wear them for 2 hours… If even that. It’s not worth it. It makes me sad to say this about Desio because they truly were the most comfortable contacts I have ever worn but now they’re just not worth the money.

I ordered the toric lenses in caramel brown. My natural eye color is brown so I wanted something a bit lighter. As shown on the model on their website, it shows a beautiful caramel brown color. Well when I put them on (after waiting 6 weeks for them to arrive), it turned my eyes super bright and to more of a grey color. I contacted support and all they said was the lens color can differ depending on iris color. Mine are brown! How does a caramel brown lens turn my brown eyes to grey?! Company wouldn’t even give me a partial refund and instead gave me a coupon for “buy one get one free” - definitely not spending more money with them and definitely not recommending them to anyone! They only want to steal your money!!

Please ignore the negative reviews of those people stating that the quality has gone down or that the lenses tear easily. This is complete BS. I can only assume that these are competitors or customers of other contact lens companies trying to fault Desio and bring down their ratings.
I have been using these lenses for 6+ years consistently and I have never received a torn lens nor have I torn a lens because I know how to handle them. These people must be vigorously shaking the lens or wiping them down too hard, thus creating a tear.
Because of their inexperience and ignorance, they blame the Desio company. That makes me, a loyal customer, very angry.
Their lenses and customer service are of the highest quality.
My color of choice is tender Hazel, which is a three month quarterly lens. The color is unmatched in any other lens, in any other company. I’ve seen other contact lens company try and duplicate this color without success. It is the most amazing honey brown green all mixed together, creating the Hazel effect, that is absolutely amazing. I have never once been called out that it is a contact lens. In fact, I get so many compliments on this color. It is extremely realistic in person. The color will be different on everyone depending on your original eye color. Mine is a light to medium brown.
Desio does offer samples which are just one day single lenses but you must purchase a full price contact lens in order to receive these, but there is a seller on eBay offering some of the sample colors for sale so you can try them out before purchasing a full priced lens.

Desio has gone really downhill over the past 2 years on focusing on social media influencers and have complete disregard for standard customers, I was shopping with Desio since 2016 but the last 3 orders I've received the lenses have been hard, easily torn and very irritable I used to value their quality but it seems they have upped prices and lowered quality. I've been waiting for nearly a week for a response as I'm yet to receive my parcel and it's been stuck with FEDEX and they haven't responded just refunded my delivery with no email or explanation it's been 2 weeks since I ordered and they haven't had the decency to even respond to one of my 4 emails. Very disappointing and will absolutely now stop shopping with them which is very disappointing considering I've been shopping with them for 9 years spending at least £300 a year

The customer service and lenses are simply amazing. I have been a customer since 2018 and have never looked back. This is by far one of the best companies out there. I am so proud to be part of the Desio family and hope you continue to create new products and change lives.
