They kept my money for 30 days then cancelled order.

Do not purchase from this store. FRAUD! I ordered 4 magazines on 12-06-2023. They charged my CC on 12-07-2023. As of today 01-12-2024, I still haven’t received my order.

Purchased a gun, they charged my CC for it and 30 days later they told me they couldn't fulfill the order.
Isnt taking your money getting you an allocation?
Nice business model. Cash flow for them interest free.

I ordered a gun on 11/13/2023. I patiently waited the 30 days. On 12/15/2023, after not hearing anything, I contacted them, about my order. I was advised that my order could not be filled for at least another two weeks, or more. They told me, if I didn't like that time frame, I could cancel my order, which I did. They refunded my money on 12/18/2023.
What I don't like, is that they take your money , keep it for a month, earning interest, with the possibility, that your order, can not be filled !! I truly believe , they are just a store front, and have no inventory themselves, they work with several wholesalers. They depend on those wholesalers, on any product you purchase, from them. So, you are purchasing an item, on their site, that may in all likelihood, not be available.
I will say, for anyone wanting , or thinking about purchasing, something from Dack Outdoors, to not be caught up, in the low price game. It is not worth the money you think you are saving, just to find out , you can not get your item, because it is not available.

They bait you with a low price, then after sitting on your payment for a month, they tell you they can’t fill the order:
“Unfortunately your order was not able to be filled due to a price or listing error.
We are truly sorry for any inconvenience that this may have caused for you.”

I have zero confidence that this is anything but a scammy website that occasionally sells stuff and delivers it…

Like many other respondents they take your money and don't deliver. I waited the thirty days and emailed them on the October 13, 2023 and they said my product would ship within the prescribed time.

Today, October 16, no shipment notification and no advise that my product would ship. I placed my transaction in dispute with my bank.

I am amazed that the credit card companies allow them to continue to have a credit card facility.

I placed my order on 4/29/23,
order was supposedly processed on 5/30/23, and a package was received on 6/26/23. That in itself is ridiculous..!!
Now if that wasn't enough to deal with, but when I go to pick up my package, I see that it appeared to be open. It was actually not opened, but had been opened and taped back shut.
But to totally fuel my anger and disgust, all that was in the package was an opened and empty magazine package..!! I've demanded a refund and will follow up with another review pending the outcome. I would not recommend this company to anyone..!!

I ordered a firearm that was listed as in stock, it's been a few weeks and decided to ask for an update on shipping status...no reply, I wish I would have researched this store, they take your money and sweat you. The scripture quotes and blessings are mere window dressing, they're going to go the way of Big Daddy Unlimited...
Avoid the headaches and go with a reputable seller. I'll hold my breath and hope they ship it. If I don't have a tracking number by 31 days from my order date I'm reporting them to my credit card company.

Read the fine print! They basically take your money, hold it for 30 days and then cover themselves for not being able to complete the order with various fine print. 5% order cancellation fee and it seems they will attempt to go after you for any fees incurred by them if you dispute via your credit card company. In a nut shell its a scam but since they tell you up front its a scam its your fault for not reading the fine print.

Sadly, like other reviews, I believe I have been scammed.
Typical, there is a way on the vendors to review the status of your order. Not so with Dack Outdoors
Also if you note the only 5 star review is from the same person, that was submitted 3 times.

Avoid at all costs - After reading many reviews I figured could they really be this bad? I looked into them and saw they recently opened a storefront, so I figured maybe they had gotten their act together.
I was wrong!!! These folks are the worst and I regret giving them a chance at redemption. They come across nice and say all the right things (including blessings) but they like to play hardball and hide behind policies that are not known or easily found on the site. The net net was that after cancelling the order they refused to issue a refund because I had contacted my credit card company and then they added I have to work with the credit card company, and it can take 5 months. News flash - the credit was posted on my account minutes after raising the dispute. I repeat, they confirmed order cancellation but refused a refund. Why they would choose to do this on a purchase under $40 is beyond me - it should have been simple, issue the credit memo and enjoy the rest of your day and possibly get a review over 1 star. They have made their choice and can now deal with the repercussions.

You can't take money, not deliver the product, and then hide behind some policy that was not known or agreed upon prior to the sale. Who in their right mind would ever agree to something like this?

Here is a quote from one of their reps = "As you stated, you contacted your CC company. We will not proceed with the order nor the refund, it will be in their hands to get that completed which can take up to 5 months. Please contact them if you have any further issues. I am sorry if you feel we've been deceptive, we are clear on our shipping timeline and that information is provided via the website banner. God Bless!"

Is this the sort of response a customer should expect? A one-time customer for sure. Not for nothing but their prices are not that great and if by chance you see some deal that is too good to be true, it probably isn't true.

You have been warned.

They bait you with low prices, then tell you that there'll be a 30 day wait. If you cancel order, even immediately, they won't refund $s, but issue a store credit instead. If you question them, they'll point you to fine print in their terms. It's basically a legal scam. Don't fall for it.

Dackoutdoors have the best prices and customer service I have ever experienced. I've made two major purchases at two different times and both times they fulfilled the purchases in a very timely manner and absolutely no problems. I recommend them unequivocally!

For an in stock item—5 more days it will be a month. No shipping info yet. They do respond to emails. when the 30 days are up I will report it as fraud to my bank if not received. They seem to be financing the business with opm. If received I will update as to this item being drop shipped from another vendor. More reputable vendors had my item in stock but I fell for the 15 dollar savings on a verified in stock item with DACK. I doubt the reasons for shipping delays are due to the “great deals” and backlogged orders. Tucson Az former DACK customer! UPDATE— Out for delivery today, 10-26-2022, exactly 30 days from order date. Item was drop shipped from Texas retailer—so Dack did not have this item in stock at time of purchase as they confirmed. It was my hope that since it was “in stock” I would have received the item sooner. They do respond to emails, I’ll give them that. However, if you think the in stock item you ordered will get to you sooner—good luck. They do however give you fair warning on up to 30 days to ship regardless of in stock, drop shipped or sourced from another vendor. Bottom-line, if you want it yesterday find it somewhere else. If you want to save 5 to 10% try DACK and be patient. Update 2, Ok, Dack actually ordered this from a Texas wholesaler/retailer on October 21st, 2022. My Dack order was placed on September 26th, 2022, So Dack is charging your card right up front, holding your money and waiting 3 weeks to a month then they order your item from one of their vendors to be drop shipped. inappropriate business model? I upped it to three stars earlier because I did finally get the item Dack ordered for me from Texas.

I purchased two magazines from Dack Outdoors that they described as blued metal. After a lengthy wait, they delivered plastic magazines instead of metal ones. When I complained about the switch to the much lower value product, they offered me $5 if I would keep them. I needed magazines for the firearm and was stuck with the bait and switch.

They are a mom and pop shop that may or may not be legit. I ordered a conversion kit with them while I was in a rush one day and didnt read the disclaimers. Apparently there were notices about the order taking up to 30 days to ship I didnt notice. I didnt receive the product after two weeks and noticed the disclaimer. My mistake and I can't blame them for that. So I cancelled my unshipped product by email. They took two days to respond. They would not issue a refund, only store credit. Why would i want store credit at a backlogged store? I got mad and called the support lady a name in my email back for not giving me my money back. Turns out that she was the owners mom, and he got mad enough to give me a call and complain about it. He gave me a speech about all the reasons it was ok for them not to give me my money back. He didn't ask once what would make it right. I wish he was as responsive to customers before he got mad. Give people their money back for any return or cancelation you bunch of weasels.
