I rang up because the price I had been given seemed rather high compared to other quotes. The person I spoke to was very helpful and explained that over the years the rebuilding costs had been increased by the RPI which meant that their quote was based on a rebuilding cost that was far far higher than those in comparative price quotes.
The quote was readjusted to represent a more realistic rebuilding price.
