Delivery was made quicker than…
Delivery was made quicker than advertised. Product is beautiful and well made. Easy to assemble although the instructions could have been better. Perhaps a step by step video would benefit customers. Daughters birthday today so will get her reaction after school. Would happily use again.

I bought the 40 cm Bobbin Brownie with…
I bought the 40 cm Bobbin Brownie with 7 gears. I have been riding for 1 week. I like it very much. Only problem is the assembling manual is not so kind. The black and white pictures are not clear at all. It's very dark. My husband managed to complete, but If I had to do on my own, it is not possible. We were taking why they don't produce easy guide videos for customers. Their customers seem to be women and kids. It is not always the case that there is someone who is strong in machines.

Update your instruction manuals.
The bike is lovely but the instructions included are completely useless! Grainy black and white photos of an adult bike is no help at all in building a completely different model of a child’s bike. This is the third bike we’ve had and we’ve had to wing it when its come to building them everytime.

Hidden 10% refund fee-then lied to!
Buyers be warned!! Their refund policy does not inform you that you will be charged a 10% ‘restocking fee’ even for helmets!! I can understand them doing this for bikes, but their policy makes no mention of the fee for other items. When I asked about this they lied to me, and said that their refund page warns people. It doesn’t. Even the fee for bikes is hidden under a drop down menu that you have to seek out, no mention of this applying to smaller items. You also have to pay return postage. So for things like helmets where you need to try it on to be certain, this is really poor customer service. Clothing companies don’t charge a ‘restocking’ fee.. If I send the helmet back to them, with all the postage and fee combined, I’ll have spent more than £10 simply to try something on. A stitch up. I was okay about paying return postage, but this fee on top, it’s too much. I will not recommend to anyone. They seem like a good company but their customer service isn’t good.

Order didn’t show up, tracking didn’t work
I ordered a bungee cord for a cycle trip, the order was confirmed with a link to a courier. I clicked the tracking link but there was no tracking info. The order didn’t show up, I messaged Bobbin a week later. I received a mail saying Bobbin “hadn’t received any updates since it was collected” and the item was now out of stock, so they would issue a refund but this might take 14 days. The lack of communication meant I wasn’t able to get a replacement/ alternative for my trip -so it was a hassle.

Gingersnap
The gingersnap bike is absolutely beautiful. The colours and styling are absolutely on point for a vintage look and feel, and it seems infinitely sturdier than the bikes we tried our daughter on in Halfords.
If I had to find fault I would say the pedals seem a bit tacky in comparison to the quality of rest of the bike, but they serve their purpose and the stabiliser wheels are loud but hopefully won’t be on for long…
Delivery was free and next working day 👍🏻
Overall both daughter and parents are very happy and confident it will last long enough to be passed on once she has outgrown it
