Poor after sales service
I purchased a child's bike from Bobbin in January 2025 and it was gifted as present in February 2025. It was first ridden in March 2025 and one of the pedal kept falling off. The bike had been put together correctly by a knowledgeable and qualified bike mechanic. I first contacted Bobbin at the beginning of May as it was now a recurring problem. I was told to go and buy a replacement crank. In my opinion the bearing on the pedal was sub standard and jamming and consequently causing the pedal to fall off and an issue which should have been covered by the warranty as a manufacturing fault. The bike had also had minimal use. There were further email exchanges where I was told it was not covered under the warranty and it wasn't a manufacturing fault and I was again informed I should go and buy a replacement crank. These are expensive bikes and I would have expected a much better response to what I received and I wouldn't buy from them again. In addition they are slow to respond to emails. Interestingly I see there is feedback from other customers on here and on google complaining about the same issue regarding the pedals. The least they should do is actually refund customers the cost of getting the replacement crank and pedal (s) from another supplier - the fact that Bobbins don't stock them is not a satisfactory response either.

Poor quality bike, awful customer service
Our daughter rode her new bike for no more than 2 hours when we discovered a faulty pedal that just kept falling off. We contacted Bobbin only to be told the issue wasn’t covered with the warranty due to ‘wear and tear’. It was ridden for a matter of hours and still well within the warranty. After sending pictures and videos, 10email exchanges we are being told to go buy the part ourselves. The customer service has been awful and now i’ve read the reviews I can see many other customers in the exact same position as us. Bobbin are not learning from there customers feedbacks or reviews nor do they care. Poor quality bike and poor customer care. I’d understand if the bike was cheap but it wasn’t.

Cheap bikes imported in parts from China that, when inevitably go wrong, are not covered by the ‘warrantee’ as they will do anything to avoid responsibility, see the google reviews, this company is a joke, barley operating above the mortality of an out and out scam
