We have been through 3 or 4 pairs so far all of them the zipper broke...they had a very good sale going on I thought I'd give them one more chance. I placed an order but when I got my confirmation email it had the wrong size so I emailed them immediately within 5 min of placing the order 4 days later I get a reply "sorry we are down to 3 people in customer service" and to use the returns portal if I needed. The returns portal says they are ineligible for returns so I emailed again now they just don't even reply at all absolutely terrible company basically robbery not sure how they're still in business. If your reading this save yourself the money and look for other options we ordered from FRIENDLY SHOE COMPANY and so far they have been awesome! But we did JUST get them So time will tell but the quality seems much better.

I ordered two pairs of shoes. I only received one pair.

Worst Customer Service I returnd my shoes and have written to them 4 emails and they DO NOT even bother to reply.there is No customer service and THE CHAT does not even work

This company is an absolute nightmare when it comes to returns. I have reached out to them multiple times over the past few weeks looking for my $200 refund for shoes that did not fit my granddaughter who wears afos. I understand that sometimes companies get too busy but two weeks of non-returned emails and no one answering the chat room is unacceptable. The shoes themselves seemed quite nice the company and its return policy are absolutely horrific. There is no way to reach anybody to get help, and my fear is that my money is gone. Now I have to save up again to order my granddaughter shoes from elsewhere, as would never dare to order from this company again for fear of not being refunded or even acknowledged. I would suggest anybody looking for adaptive shoes go through another company when ordering Billy shoes, directly ordering from them is a crapshoot for sure. Shame on them.

I MADE A PURCHASE OF 6 PAIRS OF SHOES. AND I NEVER RECEIVED ANYTHING. THEY DON'T HAVE A PHONE. DO NOT BUY WITH BILLY FOOTWEAR. AMAZON IS THE BEST THERE IS NEVER A PROBLEM

Trash. Purchased these shoes directly from the company. Spent almost $75 on two pairs of shoes, and then found out they were in target for half the price. I called to return them, and received a shipping label… They didn’t mention that they were going to refund me less the shipping amount, and that I was really paying for shipping! What a joke! Have they heard of Amazon? My refunded amount from PayPal said that it included tax and shipping… Well, that’s weird.

Good luck trying to get anybody on the phone! I sent about five emails, left voicemails, and tried to do their online chat to speak with somebody. Finally, when a representative called me from the company… she was the most disrespectful I have ever encountered. Telling me that I needed to be professional, and saying in the most ghetto tone: “If you read the email” 😂 ✌🏻

Not to mention the zipper broke after TWO WEEKS! Light your money on fire and it will save you the headache of dealing with them.

I have bought quite a few pairs of these shoes. With the first pair, the Zipper broke within a couple of months and I ordered 2 more pairs so I could have a spare, hoping the first zipper issue was a one-time thing. The 2 new pairs........both Zippers broke in less than 3 months. Because we had 2 pairs the shoes were not worn every day, we switched back and forth between the 2 pairs. So actual wear and tear would be about a month and a half.
I have been sent one free pair as a replacement. But that took months. Without shoes that fit the SMO's the child cannot wear them at all. It will take customer support over a week to answer each email and the process of getting a replacement entails many emails back and forth. they want photos, and measurements and will try to tell you that you have bought the wrong size even when physical therapists say they are the correct size for the child's foot.
I wish there were more options for extra wide shoes that fit SMO's because this is very frustrating.
For the price of these shoes, Billy Footwear should have faster customer service and they should last more than 2-3 months.

I saw that the shoe that was being sent was the wrong one. I have sent 5 emails, and tried to use the chat feature and have not been contacted one single time! There is no customer service phone number. Ridiculous!

Easy to use site, wonderful customer service and the shoes are of excellent quality and I love them!!!!

This was the worst shopping experience ever! I will never shop Billy Shoes again, nor do I recommend them. I am very petite. 43 kg. 5'3" in height. I wear a knee ankle foot orthotic (KAFO) due to a spinal cord tumor. Billy shoes advertise that their shoes fit AFO's. I ordered 2 pairs. Neither of them come anywhere near to getting my foot in. I sent them back for a refund only to get a reply that they can't
be refunded because of a mark down in original price and that I will be getting a store credit. What am I suppose to do with a store credit in a store where their shoes don't fit me??? Horrible!

The shoes look cool. My kid liked them and they fit his wide feet. He wore them for two months and the shoes fell apart. The rubber peeled off halfway on one shoe and the zipper hardware broke off the other shoe.
I contacted customer support and as they were past the 90 day period they will not refund or stand by their product.
I live in Canada and payed $116 with shipping.
Would not recommend purchasing as you will have to purchase different shoes in a couple months.

Bought these for my daughter with AFO’s. Thought they were brilliant so bought 4 pairs total.

Her pair that we used for school have been worn to school a total of 38 days. There is no front rubber left to them, the pattern has worn off one, the inside of one has become threadbare.

I am really and truly disappointed, i cant afford to pay for another pair for school if they don't even last past a half term.

Hoping i can get use out the others as they are worn less and alternated.
I feel back to square one with school shoes.

Son wears one splint. Thought these were fantastic when we got them but after less than 12 weeks the zip broke off meaning they can’t be done up easily, and don’t stay done up.

Returned shoes to UK supplier sensorysmart.co.uk but was told it was excessive wear and tear and so they wouldn’t do anything at all. Excessive wear and tear on a shoe of a child that uses a wheelchair most of the time?!

Zippers break constantly.
Souls wear out within 3 months.
Unfortunately not many options for a young child with afos. High price to pay for shoes that need to be replaced every 2-3 months!
The company has been zero help in resolving issues because I'm Canadian and have to use Canadian retailers.

Billy footware not fit for purpose have purchase two pairs of boots both times the zip broke in the same place rendering the boots unwearable cheaply made

We were desperately searching for a pair of sneakers for my son who wears a new larger brace on one foot. We would try on shoes to fit the braced foot, but then the other was too big for the unbraced foot. It was frustrating and difficult but then we found Billy Footwear online. We ordered the differently sized pair of shoes and waited nervously to see if finally we could have a good pair of fitted shoes. Voila! The sneakers arrived within a week and FIT PERFECTLY!!! And we get emails from Billy Footwear with helpful suggestions to zip the shoe, clean them, etc. I can envision young adults with disabilities who struggle with shoe tying ordering these. The zipper is not visible, and it looks just like a tied sneaker but the laces are not really functional. We will always order from Billy Footwear!
