Location d'une voiture à Andros :
- La voiture que j'ai eue (Golf) ne correspondait pas à la catégorie réservée (SUV type Nissan Qashqai). Le loueur m'a dit sans s'excuser que c'était le même prix et que s'il avait une disponibilité dans la semaine, il me rappellerait. Je n'ai pas eu d'appel.
- Voiture en mauvais état avec plusieurs indicateurs oranges au démarrage et un côté du siège conducteur avec un trou, sans doute à cause du déclenchement d'un airbag qui n'avait pas été remis en état.
- Voiture très sale extérieurement, visiblement rincée avec de l'eau boueuse, et sale intérieurement avec des traces sur les sièges
- Le moteur du liquide lave-glace ne fonctionnait pas
- J'ai été obligé de refaire la pression des pneus lors du séjour
- Personnel peu scrupuleux et peu professionnel avec un contact désagréable
- J'ai été obligé de réclamer la rédaction d'un état des lieux du véhicule avant de partir car un des deux collaborateurs ne voulait pas le faire disant "c'est une bonne voiture, OK OK, enjoy !"
Au global, nous ne sommes pas satisfaits de ce loueur, ni sur le plan des personnes qui nous ont reçues, ni en termes de sécurité et du confort du véhicule, d'autant plus que le prix de location n'est pas vraiment moins cher que d'autres loueurs.

Excellent customer service from the Thessaloniki Team
Excellent customer service from the Team at the central Thessaloniki branch. I was staying in Thessaloniki and had a last minute decision to hire a car for a few days. In a street full of car hire places, I went to AVANCE first as I had a great experience with the company last year when in Athens. At first the guys were struggling and said they could only offer a 7-seater which was not any use as there were only 2 of us. The guys spent 20 mins, moving things about and eventually managed to come up with a VW Polo manual for a 2 day hire, good price and I also took the extra insurance for piece of mind. On the day of collection, I asked if I could make it 3 days and again, they managed to accommodate my request. The handover of the car was smooth, there were lots of small scratches and marks (well it is GREECE after all 😂) but these were all noted and photographed. return was again smooth, quick inspection, check the fuel level and away I went. Very happy with the branch and also Avance. Would definitely recommend.

Suite à une experience atroce avec une autre compagnie de location Grecque, nous sommes allé chez Avance. Nous n’avons pas été déçus. Aimable, serviable, la voiture était très bien. Je recommande sans hésiter.

This is a good car rental and very fair.
Amazing car rental and very fair.
I read the comments before I booked with this company. The good comments had a variety and I could understand the constructive feedback but the negative comments are a joke. They all have the common theme of extra charge and not being told from the beginning. That’s a big lie or misunderstanding or misleading people on purpose.
Form the moment we went to Paros rental office we were told very explicitly that we need to return the car in the same fuel position and you take a picture as well. Secondly and most importantly if you dirty the car in the inside you need to pay. If you choose to go for a swim and with the water and swimming costume go in the car all the sea salt will leave a stain in the car seats. It’s your choice if you don’t care and then you need to pay 60 euros indoor cleaning. They inform you for everything and you sign. I don’t understand how people blame others for their ignorance and luck of understanding. The guys in the office were very informative of the island, the area and always able to contact them! The boys in the transfer amazing and very kind! We paid relative cheaper price comparing with other rentals and the cars were all after 2021 and very very good and cheap to run! Definitely I will choose advance again!

Scorretti giocano con il carburante abbiamo preso 2 auto una con 1/4 di serbatoio e l'altra a metà alla riconsegna hanno fatto storie. Molto sgarbati e per nulla gentili e comprensivi con i clienti.

Évitez car véhicules mal entretenus
Évitez cette compagnie. Leurs véhicules ne sont pas fiables ni suffisamment entretenus. Le signal indiquant un défaut moteur est apparu le premier jour et nous avons appelé l’assistance qui n’a pas voulu faire de changement.
Le moteur s’est arrêté le jour de notre départ et nous avons failli rater l’avion, car avance refusait de nous rembourser un taxi pour attraper notre vol.

Desconfien
Alquilamos un coche para nuestra estancia en Tinos este verano (agosto 2024). Todo fue bien pero cuando devolvimos el coche, nos dimos cuenta que otro coche la noche anterior nos había rallado el parachoques posterior. Rallado pero de forma muy ligera. NOs cobraron 230€, diciendo que se atendrían a la ley internacional de estos casos. El mismo parachoques tenía previamente dos golpes, regularmente notificados a la hora del alquiler. Dos coches visiblemente más grandes. Por lo tanto: 1, consideramos que no arreglarán el desperfecto, 2, aprovecharon para cobrarnos un precio exagerado por la ralladita nueva, visto que posiblemente ya cobraron lo mismo o más para los otros choques. No alquiléis con ellos.

During your delivery on 27/7/2024 you received a Peugeot 301, where it was checked in your presence with the employee. On your return, damage was found to the vehicle that did not exist before, where you were directly informed accordingly locally. It is not possible for our company to bear any damage that occurs in the rental of each customer, whether it is small or large. All our vehicles are repaired in case of damages. Also, we would like to inform you that under no circumstances would the station arbitrarily charge for any damage, but neither do we take advantage of our customers. The station has the globally recognized DAT system, where by registering the damage, it automatically issues the cost list according to the official price lists of the respective company.
Consequently, we do not understand your exhortation to other customers not to choose our company.

Worst experience ever in my life in Kassiopi, I went to rent a car and frrom the start the lady was very rude she answered her phone and speaking to her friend and let me wait, also she was very rude and short answers not helpful at all , I asked her about the prices she said there they are like we was some dogs , I asked for the insurance if is fully covered and she said no you pay if any accidents happen and been cleaver like she study a low and no such insurance is fully come even in uk she tried to make us look stupid even we come from uk and have fully come Insurence she saying that we was wrong, very rude from the start , I asked her why she is so rude and angry with us we only try to rent a car and wanted to ask some questions about the car and we are costumers and trying to give her a business, she still not listening to us and not helping answering any of our questions, we felt like we was told off for asking all this questions to her , I got my deposit and left , visited on 8pm on the 1-8-2024

You had made a reservation for Kassiopi station, upon your arrival at the station the employee informed you about the additional insurance (FDW) and that it does not cover the lower part of the vehicle, including the tires. You disagreed with this information and expressed your displeasure with an indecent behavior cursing the employee, but also Greece. In the end, it was not possible for the station to provide you with a vehicle and you were refunded the deposit you had paid. The station has tried to serve you in the best possible way and to provide you with all the necessary information, so that you are aware of what is covered and what is not, to avoid any confusion.

I prezzi sono molto concorrenziali. Il customer service è eccezionale, risponde in tempi brevissimi ed è sempre esaustivo. I contratti sono chiari e ben scritti. Il personale al desk è preparato e molto gentile.

Worst company ever. Don’t rent a car in Paros with Avance. They didn’t explain us anything and it was a total scam. The fuel was in the same level as when we picked up the car and they charged us 40 euros. Never more. If you can, choose another company.

We would like to assure you that under no circumstances could the respective employee charge you for any damage or fuel difference, as during the delivery of the vehicle the vehicle is checked in your presence and it is noted by the respective employee in the respective document, where it is signed from you. When the vehicle is returned, the vehicle is checked again and if any pending issue arises from the customer, the customer is informed according to the document he signed upon delivery of the vehicle.

Take in account that They charge you for everything, even it is a little bit dirty with sand or sea salt marks. The worst thing is that they don’t tell you that when you rent it.

We understand that each customer can visit our country for holidays and in case there are e.g. a little trash inside the vehicle, a little dust, the customer is not charged anything, but in case the car is returned and needs biological cleaning, there is no possibility to avoid the corresponding charge. You are referring to salt marks, let us inform you that on all vehicles whether private or rented, such marks need special cleaning. The contract you received states that you must return the vehicle in the same condition as you received it.

EPIC FAIL AVANCE
The car I rented was nothing like the car I booked online. It felt unsafe to drive. It had done 161,000 klms on the dial. It stunk like a well-used ashtray. And the car was so old, it didn't even have a USB port to charge my phone for Google Maps. EPIC FAIL AVANCE.
And BTW Avance - when booking, and you say "or similar car" - what you really mean is that it will be the same size, have four wheels and an engine. A VW Polo - over 12 years old - is NOT SIMILAR AT ALL.

Nevertheless, let us inform you that all our vehicles undergo a thorough inspection before each delivery to a customer, but also upon the return of the vehicle. The particular vehicle did not and does not face any functional or mechanical problem. Also, we would like to inform you that you are booking a vehicle category and not a specific model, as was stated on the website where you made your reservation. On 18/6/2024, you received an Opel Corsa from Mykonos station, choosing insurance with an excess of 150€+VAT, in accordance with your signed contract. On 25/6/2024 you returned the vehicle with damage to the rear door. The station informed you of the damage caused during your rental. Each damage is invoiced according to the global DAT system and not arbitrarily by our company. According to DAT, the cost of the damage amounted to 256,13€. Nevertheless, according to the insurance you had chosen, you paid for the damage 150€+VAT (186€). We would like to inform you that it is not possible for our company to bear any damages incurred by each customer during their lease. Although your unforeseen unfortunate event left you unhappy, we hope to serve you again in the future.

Best check in and return
Rented a car from Avance Athens Airport this week and found the team to be very professional, courteous and completed the paper quickly. We had rented another car from a company that had gone bankrupt, and they were able to supply us a car at the last minute. Returning the car the team dealt with an issue as we had been rear ended in a traffic jam. They dealt with it very professionally and reduced our stress levels - thank you.

bien conseillé et bon acceuil
Nous avons été bien conseillé. La conduite à Athène étant sportive, je vous conseille de prendre l'assurance. Je pensais pas avoir un accident, mais à un ''stop'', un habitant m'est rentré dans la voiture de location. J'étais contente d'avoir l'assurance. Je recommande fortement cette agence, agréable et professionnelle.

Nicht Erhalten was wir bestellt haben…
Wir haben in Naxos einen kleinen Wagen Citrön C3 oder ähnlich gemietet, weil wir unbedingt einen kleinen Wagen für die Insel wollten. Bekommen haben wir einen Fiat Doblo, in welchem problemlos 5 Personen mit Gepäck Platz gehabt hätten.
Dazu kam, dass die Motoren- und die Bremswarnlampe geleuchtet haben. Wir sollen uns keine Sorgen machen, da passiert schon nichts, war die Antwort des Vermieters… Auch die Kupplung und das Schaltgetriebe waren nicht in einem guten Zustand.
Auf Mykonos und Paros haben wir für weniger Geld bessere Autos von anderen Anbietern erhalten.
Leider können wir Avance nicht empfehlen.
