Dont waste your money and time
I've put 15000 kms on my car since installing autoshack garbage struts. One of which had a problem from the beginning and had to be changed again..Both upper mounts are shot. The sound when I turn the wheel makes me wonder when it's gonna let go. I contacted autoshack and they said its out of the warranty window. They only last till the warranty is out. The only response ive received from autoshack was oh well thanks for your money. They keep saying they understand my frustration but do nothing to help. Bad parts Bad service .

Ordered front and rear rotors for my truck. The rear rotors are incorrect and this sorry company won't just switch for the correct ones but are asking me to return the full order. 1st and last time I'll buy anything from there. Took them 3 weeks just to tell me that.

Sent me brake pads that had been…
Sent me brake pads that had been previously returned by someone else, most likely as defective. Package was torn open & a mess. Pads did not fit application, had to slightly modify backing plate to fit. This company refuses to give even the smallest compensation, they want me to take brake system back apart & send photos. Or, take off, return & send a restocking fee. This company is a sham, especially if they send you a product that was returned as defective previously. READ TGE REVIEWS, I'm not the only one treated this way, more negative than positive. BUY SOMEWHERE ELSE.

I filled my cart, went to check out and entered my card info. The website said "problem processing payment, please try again" So I did. Then it said "technical error" please contact us. I checked my bank account and they took my money! I received no confirmation email and no record that I paid. They said "we were updating our website" So sketchy and shady. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. I'm now waiting for a refund. Let's see how long this takes.

What a nightmare
I ordered a wheel hub and got an email that they received my order. I called after several days and they said could not find my order. I had an order number and proof it was charged to my credit card. They said they would investigate and call me back but it never happened. I waited a day and called back, lady told me all the same things the last lady did and said she would need to investigate. She called back and said I had to order again and pay again that she would refund the first one. I am now with no vehicle for 6 days and it’s another 5 to 7 days for shipment. I asked if they could cover the $11 express shipping to help and they said no. I have copies of all the emails and number that I called and I thought asking for $11 was a fair thing to ask but she said it was against their policies for any help with situation. Very stressful and although a good price I would rather have paid the extra and not been without a vehicle so long.

ordered a front set of drilled/slotted…
ordered a front set of drilled/slotted rotors for a customer's 2011 CTS at around noon on a friday and expected delivery in 5-6 days which was ok-the next day (saturday) at noon i tried to cancel the order (amazon)-at 2:30 i got a message from amazon it could not be cancelled since it was shipped (weird, and fast, huh?)-so i just waited...2 days later ONE rotor was delivered by FedEx...the driver said maybe the other was coming later, so i did not refuse it...the next day the other rotor showed up-and it is exactly the same as the one sent the previous day. these are drilled/SLOTTED rotors and are therefore directional-the slots should be opposite each other to work properly. after much todo back and forth, Auto Shack refunded the full amount and said there was no need to send them back (which would have cost a lot, these weigh easily 50 lbs total). i thought it was strange that they would send these seperately, and still think that instead of cancelling the order they shipped ONE when they got my request to cancel so that the order could not be cancelled. bad business practice IMO, if they had handled this honestly they would not have to lose out on this sale and i would have a happy customer. now i have two perfectly good RIGHT SIDE FRONT drilled/slotted rotors to dispose of...which is a waste. buyer beware.

Lifetime warranty is a scam!!!
Cheap parts that will fail quickly and not last guaranteed. If you get the lifetime warranty and try to get a replacement only to find out that they no longer carry that part and now that warranty is useless. No help at all. I think someone should start a class action lawsuit against autoshack.

The parts in question have nothing to do with the policy. I had contacted them about not being able to find the parts online anymore and was told they dont carry them anymore. It was parts purchased with a lifetime warranty...not a lifetime warranty if parts available.... i was going to sell them but wanted to see how much i paid for them.... (purchased them for another person that never picked them up) you can spin you responses all you want. I will never purchase another part from autoshack again. Based on the reviews looks as though a lot of others have learnt also not to buy from autoshack. Worst and cheapest quality parts available.

If a warranted part is no longer carried, a refund is issued as the final resolution. This approach is standard across the industry and ensures that customers still receive value even when inventory changes.
In this case, the purchase was made in July 2024, and the request involved returning an unused part well beyond our return window. AutoShack allows returns within 45 days from the date of shipment (for online purchases) or 45 days from the date of purchase (for in-store purchases), provided the item has not been installed or modified. Although a “warranty claim” was referenced, the actual request did not meet the criteria for a valid return or replacement under our extended warranty policy.
Our policies are clearly stated and consistently applied. The feedback from this case has been reviewed internally to ensure continued clarity and effectiveness in customer interactions.

Be careful if you choose to buy anything from this company when I ordered my brake rotors for the rear of my Impala as I was watching screen and got my confirmation the price was there and it was right but then two times the price changed right in front of me and I couldn't figure out why first thing I did was looked at the quantity and it said one so I was confused on what was going on and I looked farther and went into my estimated delivery date and they had switched me to three sets of rotors keep in mind the quantity box still showed only one so I immediately hit cancel order and then the next day I receive an email from them saying that my order was on its way and eBay sent me a message saying that they said that they were unable to cancel my order so be careful they're Shady

Very bad customer service
I ordered wheel hub for my van over the phone on Monday 24th of February 2025. I've dealt with them before and usually takes 2 or 3 days for the part to arrive from Ottawa to London. Not this time. I called on Friday to see what's going on and why the delay. Talked with supervisor and a manager to no avail. On Monday the manager called me back to inform me they're canceling my order and returning the money. No explanation as to what's happened or anything. Just like talking to a wall. Very unprofessional. Ordered the part from rock auto instead. Cheaper and supposed to arrive Thursday.
