I had a problem with the billing from FOX rental car. Chris helped me get it straightened out (and a refund) in a timely and professional manner.

Very quick and efficient service, helpful staff who were also polite made things easy... I picked my car up at airport and after a long flight was dreading the fact it was busy and thought I would be waiting a long time for paperwork etc to be completed but I was wrong.. All sorted in a matter of minutes.. Thank you😁

Although your service was fine. It would be useful to know all the extras or where to find them, associated with car hire, had we taken these 'extras' out would have doubled the cost. The car we booked was smaller than the car we got which meant that it cost more. The car did not have a spare tyre only the sealant which when used wrecks the tyre so again costing more money. Whilst I appreciate as a 3rd party booking site you have no control on these points, I feel they need highlighting when looking to book a car as it can make a huge difference to the cost of hiring.

I used this site to book a week of car rental in July 2022 for Costa Rica. Paid for full car rental to their partner site (Thrifty car rental). Once arrived i was told they don't have that car that has been fully paid for 6 weeks ahead of time. After long arguments they finally gave me an old van with few mechanical issues. The counter person even told me about the issues to begin with. Since we were in a foreign country with little help, we had to take the rental. Autorental was of no help and could not care less about the issue. No one to talk to and email complaints are ignored. This site is a SCAM do not use it if you want peace of mind.

Example #2. Tried to book a car here in Reno, NV for 4 days. Rates shown on the site is under $21/Day, however, once you go to to pay, total is $320!!! How do you go from the initial quote to four times that? See my screen shot and you see what I mean.I had no intention of using this site again but when searching on Kayak, you are automatically sent here! DO NOT USE THIS SITE.

Renter beware! Read the fine print. I reserved a Hertz rental through autorentals.com. I have rented many times thru this website. All of my previous reservations were held without a charge on my credit card. I reserved the Hertz rental car expecting to pay at the desk when picking up the car. My credit card was immediately charged. Never had this happen before. Their policy is if you can cancel with 2 day of booking you receive a full refund. After that they charge $100,00 to cancel. I called autorental.com but they said I had to cancel directly through Hertz. I will never use Hertz again or autorental.com. Aotoslash.com guarantees no cancelation fees. I reserved a similar car thru them over $200.00 cheaper. I took the $100.00 loss by canceling Hertz but saved $100.00 by renting thru autoslash.com.

My car was ready when I got to the airport; no waiting at all. I returned the car a few hours late due to flight delay; I was not charged anything extra. I was very thankful.

On arrival in Vancouver at the start of a 5 week car hire rental we were told that our AIG 'Insurance4carhire' was not recognised by by Ace Rental, our car hire company. We were therefore obliged to take their insurance wihich was a significant amount as the hire was over 5 weeks. So we contacted Autorentals some time later and asked for clarification so that we could take up the matter with AIG when returning to England. Chris at Autorentals took up and resolved the issue which resulted with us being issued a full refund Thank you and well done Autorentals.

When I picked up the car. I was given the wrong key. As I was exiting; the attendant said I had the wrong car. So I returned to the car rental booth. I informed them that I was given the wrong car/ key. They gave me the key to a like vehicle(Toyota Camry). I asked if they could just change the contract. Since I already loaded all my bags into the car. I was told no?

Recently, there was an issue with Easirent, a company that AutoRentals booked for me. When I informed them of some extraneous charges, Chris, a dedicated customer service agent, went to work, dealing with Easirent for me! I am currently expecting a refund, thanks to AutoRentals, who stood behind their customer service promise. It’s not often that I find such a company - I recommend them to one and all!!!

While friendly staff and easy pick up from lisbon, have had a bad experience dropping car off due to miscommunication and with extra costs. I decided to book via AutoRentals after finding a good price for a rental one way from Lisbon to Porto. Price seemed much better than nearest competition, so expected some other costs upon arrival in Lisbon. The extra charges included security deposit, and paid for extra cover to reduce this, and for a device to go through tolls. Total cost came to about the same as competitors for about the same deal, so was happy enough. At the time, everything seemed OK, staff at Lisbon office helped answer questions about drop off at Porto airport, and were quite specific of the time I could drop the car off there.

However, on arrival at the Porto office, I was told that there was an extra charge of 140EUR for one way drop off. This was not mentioned at all on pick up. They explained the problem had arisen because the booking from autorentals had been from Lisbon-Lisbon (despite my email and receipt stating Lis-Porto). My contract I signed on closer examination did state lisbon-lisbon, so perhaps I should've mentioned something on pick up in Lisbon before signing, but the fact that I had had a frank discussion about my plans at the time, and was giving explicit verbal information about the drop off at Porto meant that I did not forsee any issues.

I was told to pay the extra charge and a new contract with the additional 140EUR was made up (stating one way fee and Lisb-Porto). I was advised to discuss with AutoRentals about the error. At this point I was obviously upset, as not only did this seem like a hidden charge, but if I was told this upfront, I almost certainly would have gone for an alternative, likely cheaper service, and that choice was taken from me by the service I was provided and the communication.

Autorentals have now come back and stated that there is nothing they will do, stating that in the additional info at the bottom of SurPrice's terms, a one way fee may be included due in pick up. Well, maybe it should have been, but certainly shouldn't be added at the end, and made untransparant. My advice is if booking, book directly via SurPrice, and maybe over the phone, and check the contract closely.

great , fast smooth on return they even helped me get a baggage cart... while I looked they locjed the car to keep my stuff safe........... great ANC staff... best price too of all agencies

AutoRentals provided a PERFECT experience for me and my family. The agent Myron at SEATAC offered us an upgrade that was surprisingly affordable. We received a perfect mini van that made travel for my grandson (6) my two sisters and my mother (89) a comfortable travel on our visit to Washington state. I am hooked to AutoRental for any future car/ minivan rental needs. If you try them you will be hooked too! Affordable, Seamlessly easy, Conveniently located and Personable Staff. "A bit nervous going through a third party as you quoted such low prices compared to the actual company rates, but it was the best thing we did. when we arrived to pick up our SUV we were told to pick which ever model we wanted. It was hassle free and instant confirmation. Would definitely use Autorentals everytime.

My flight was delayed by 2+ hours. When I arrived at the airport, I found that there were no more shuttles because the car rental company was closed. I called autorentals.com, but there was no answer. Ended up taking a taxi to the hotel.

The next morning, the car rental company told me my reservation was canceled and they didn't have a car for me. They assured me that autorentals.com would grant me a refund under the circumstances.

I contacted autorentals.com. They initially refused a refund and would not help me. I ended up booking a car through another company.

About two weeks later AutoRentals.com called me and refunded my deposit. So they eventually made things right, and they are still an option for me in the future for my car rental needs.
