when I ordered my pre printed invoices…
when I ordered my pre printed invoices they were fine except on the bottom where it said tear along bottom line it was NOT Prefferated so i had to use scissors. that was another step in my billing I did not expect to do. this is the first time in 9 years that i have to do this I am not happy about this

Thanks for the review Robert, We have had a few reports from the last truckload of forms that we received, that the perforation was lighter than normal. The perforation is there, and if you fold the paper on the line you will see that it follows the perforation. Once it is folded, it tears off easily. But we want you to be happy, so we will send you another ream free of charge. It should get to you by the 7th or 8th. I'm not sure why you needed scissors to fold the invoices though. It's your customer that tears off the bottom stub to return with their payment.

Hi Scott, If you mean more modern to be a lot better. Adkad Technologies has been serving the Green Industry since 1997. We have intentionally kept the same look of the software so that there is not a huge learning curve when we release new updates. Our thinking is you would rather be out working, rather than learning new software. The last facelift we did to give the software a modern look was in 2007, and we got a lot of complaints about the new look. People just don't like change. Our intention is to keep our old and current customers happy. Isn't that what a software company should do. We have added some navigation improvements in our new series 8 software soon to be released. We would love to hear your ideas on any future improvements. Give us a call.

Hi Richard, thanks for the review. I am going to be totally transparent here and give away our secret.
It would be GREAT if the mobile app was free to use. Unfortunately, the company that houses and buys the web servers, the licenses purchased through Microsoft, and the company that makes the magic to put it all together, aren't free. Believe it or not, our cut or, (a piece of the pie as it were), is only $ 6.25 per month. This is not a typo. We offer this service to our customers to give them another alternative. The $75 annual profit, (wait for it), goes to fund our support services. That's right, you get our Silver Support Subscription from the profit made from the cloud service. This means the profit goes back to the customer. That subscription can be used for any support issue. Our Dollar Match Program works the same way when you buy invoice forms or envelopes. How's that for customer service?

Really great program
Really great program. Just costly on customers side. Usually companies have their own server and apps that go along with their programs. I don't want to spend thousands of dollars just to have a place on a server. Maybe a few dollars a year but monthly is too much.

Hey Derek, thanks for the 4 Stars. According to one internet article; Amazon doesn't even own its own servers. They lease from other companies. I personally know of no specialty software developer that could take on the expense and magnitude of creating data centers for their products. To have a safe and secure platform for running internet apps you need multiple, (in different states for redundancy), buildings that are both fire and earthquake-proof. A whole ton of other security-related equipment and software, plus round the clock monitoring and security personnel to ensure the safety and security of everyone's data. If you ever hear of a software company offering a commercial-free web app for a few dollars a year, or a pay-one-price for a lifetime of use, be wary. I would be willing to bet my entire life's savings that this webserver is sitting in someone's garage. And when that server goes down, (which eventually will), or gets hacked, someone is fleeing to Bali. Paying a monthly fee for the convenience of being mobile isn't for everybody, and like anything else has it's pros and cons. To the best of my knowledge, Adkad Technologies will be the only Lawn Care Business Software developer left by the end of next year, still offering both Desktop and Cloud-based Software. At least you have a choice, and will continue to for the life of Adkad Technologies.

I've used ADKAD for several years and have saved hundreds of dollars over other programs to help me with invoicing, scheduling and keeping track of my customers. Would highly recommend to any landscape management company.

We started a new Contract, Letter, and Pesticide Report generator for the next version of GroundsKeeper Pro but yanked it back out because it was going to be way too complicated for the average user. The code is there but will be unavailable until we can come up with some better ideas. Kinda like a ghost in the machine. We haven't given up on it, and you will probably see it in a version somewhere down the road.
Changing to a save on close instead of a save button, (which programmatically is easier), is something that we're not sure the bulk of our customers are ready for. Some screens have the feature, but it can be a dangerous thing if you're all thumbs. But it is something we are considering.
You will like the new Quick Launch buttons in the soon to be released series 8 GroundsKeeper Pro. You will be able to bounce between screens with the focus on the last customer selected.

There are things that I wish this would do. And having to pay money to just change my address or phone number is ridiculous. I wish I could bulk email many bills at once to one person instead of several separate emails to that one person.

Not quite sure why a person would get more than 1 invoice for a billing period, but you obviously have some special needs here. Give us a call to discuss it, maybe we can find some kind of workaround.
Here's the reason for the address and or phone change. I hope it clarifies the process and changes your mind.
Our registration process allows the software to be used on multiple computers without having to purchase multiple copies for new or additional computers, being that it is registered to a person, and not to a computer, as is many other software products. This process not only protects our company from software piracy but also protects the end-user from theft of their company data from their employees. About 15% of the address change requests that are processed turn out to be fraudulent due mainly to a partnership breakup, or from a former employee who has decided to start their own business. In this scenario, the person making the request poses as the registered user to be able to change the company info to their own. We can only verify that the person making the request is the actual registered user by requiring supporting documentation as proof. The overwhelming majority of end-users prefer this type of registration to protect their data and to avoid having to pay for the same software product multiple times. The $25 fee we charge, recovers only a portion of the actual labor and material costs associated with issuing a new registration number, IE. Printing, mailing, postage, and correspondence.

Poor set up of entering for the month
Really helped me organize and send everything nicely with billing. In my opinion, the way you enter in the dates is terrible. You have to individually type in every date instead of being able to do every cut for the entire month at once. There is a wizard part, but you never do every yard every week on the same day, so it’s not a benefit at all. I have asked about it and they disagree and say the program isn’t set up for that. I strongly disagree.

Hi Greg, Not quite sure what it is that you are trying to do. Also not understanding why or how you would enter all of your cuts for an entire month at once. You're correct there is a Wizzard to automate posting let's say an entire day's work with one click. Why wouldn't that work for you? Give us a call so that we can figure this out.

I would like it be be easier to use the schedule and routing screens it is very time consuming to set up schedules and routing is also not an easy task possibly a wizard would help also I would like to be able to run a missed application report off the schedule screen. some screens are never used maybe they could be replaced by more useful information on other screen and maybe some other reports that are improved like the chemical reporting screen it is way to hard to use it should be connected to the schedule and repeated for all customers in 1 easy step to report the most used chemicals like a universal crabgrass control treatment duplicated for all customers or a grub control for all customers.
