The Adkad program was not designed for tree service but has worked very well for me. I do not like the feature that wants to put in the zip code for you. I have used the program for about 20 years and recommend it.

Hellow James, thanks for the review. We added the autofill feature for the City, State, and Zip as a way to speed up the data entry process for the user. This works especially well when you are entering all of your customers for the first time, or if all of your customers are in the same Zip Code. Just enter your customers in Zip Code Order. It will prefill with the same data that was used from the previous entry. Just select no when the software prompts you, and it will leave those fields blank ready for data entry. I will present your request to the programmers to add a way to totally disable this feature.

Hi, Vaughn thanks for taking the time to write us. I see from your record you have been using GroundsKeeper Pro since 2007. If you have an exorbitant amount of data you can see degradation in the performance of the software. Older machines will also not process the data as quickly as a newer machine. There is a feature in the Database Maintenance screen to clean up older billing records that are no longer relevant. Also, try the Database Repair Button.

I was a little skeptical about switching over data to the cloud, however I decided to make the switch..the transition was smooth, customer service was terrific and I recommend this product to any potential customers.

A review of the payroll part of Groundskeeper should be given attention. When going to get a loan it was not accepted. I had to buy another payroll program.

Hi, Patricia. To keep the cost of our software low and or eliminate monthly fees, our Payroll screen is for payroll record keeping only. Most of our customers use either a payroll service or accounting service to manage their payroll. We don't want to add a level of cost to the software that only a small percentage would use. Plus doing your own payroll only adds another chore the business owner has to do. Our thinking here is, why charge our customers for feature to do something they don't want to do in the first place, at the same price or lower they could get elsewhere.

These guys are great!
These guys are great! I have used their Grounds Keeper Pro crm software and also their invoicing envelopes and pre printed invoices for at least close to 10 years now. I think it is the best I could find then and still is. You can not beat the price either. You can buy it as a download with a one time charge, not a monthly charge forever. They upgrade the software maybe at least once a year to keep it as good as possible and add new features. They have cloud options, multiple user and integrated credit card processing too. I have called the office and talked to Dave and Karen many times over the years and I could not ask for better, knowledgeable customer service. Thank you Adkad, Grounds Keeper Pro!

Hey, George. Unlike my kids, computers really don't lose things. Your logo image is a separate file stored wherever you put it last. You then point the software to where the image file is. If you move or delete the file the software won't be able to find it. If you get a new computer or uninstalled an older version you may need to repoint to where the file is. Hope this helped. There is also a topic in our Knowledge-Base on Logos.

It would be GREAT if the cloud service was free to use. Unfortunately, the company that houses and buys the web servers, the licenses purchased through Microsoft, and the company that makes the magic to put it all together, aren't free. Believe it or not, our cut or, (a piece of the pie as it were), is only $ 6.25 per month. This is not a typo. We offer this service to our customers to give them another alternative. The $75 annual profit, (wait for it), goes to fund our support services. That's right, you get our Silver Support Subscription from the profit made from the cloud service. This means the profit goes back to the customer. That subscription can be used for any support issue. Our Dollar Match Program works the same way when you buy invoice forms or envelopes. How's that for customer service?
