Explained everything clearly. Guided one to do everything in order. You can save what you have inputted, and come back when you have further information. You can't proceed until you have given all the correct information. Expensive but foolproof.

This was my 1st time having to apply for probate and it looked pretty daunting. I found YCDP platform online and it made the task easy to follow. Saved me a lot of money not using solicitors. The courts received the application on the 15 April and I received the Grant of Probate 3 weeks later. Fantastic service which I would highly recommend this company.

Brilliant website, made the probate process for my dad’s estate very easy, and simple to follow. Forms populated at the end with no bother at all, and downloaded easily. I only needed one question answered which I got with online chat immediately. Highly recommend. So much better than paying £££ for law firm to do it. Thank you!

When completing the forms, any query I had as soon as I emailed them they got back to me straight away.
Also it would not let you finish the section until you had filled out all that was needed. Helpful that you could save and go back in when you had the answer you needed.

Really nice to use software that wrapped over the top of the Gov UK forms. Found it much simpler to use and collected all the required information. Would recommend to others, especially if doing for the first time.

I found this website incredibly helpful and it saved me a huge amount of money and time. I had been quoted £5-7k for a solicitor to do my mum’s probate, so I thought I would give YouCanDoProbate a try. It was very easy - the website guides you through. When I did have a query, I sent through the question and it was answered really quickly. Also, it was handy that it saved what I had done and I was able to leave it and come back to it again, so you don’t have to do it all at once. I would very much recommend.

Excellent and easy way to do probate yourself for a fraction of the cost.

I’m always sceptical about sites that show a blaze of 5 Star Reviews so I write this as a suggestion/warning based on my experience. I have given 3 Stars because I can’t actually tell you if it’s good or bad as I stopped my Father-in-Law using it. Unfortunately by that time, he’d already paid £325 and there’s no way to get it back. It’s in the T&C’s. There’s no allowance for vulnerable customers it seems.
So my suggestion is, it might well be cheaper than a solicitor but it’s very easy to do this yourself. You still will need to pay the GOV fees on top of their fees. They ask you exactly the same questions as the GOV pages. It may even take them longer.

Start direct with the GOV site, get help if you’re not sure but only use a company like this at the last resort is my suggestion. Just because it’s verified by trustpilot, this type of business is not regulated so you have nobody to complain to other then the company themselves.

Very easy to use and as they say you can contact any number of occasions as I did twice for advice. When you think I was quoted three times as much, therefore I would say they were value for money.
If only the probate service was as quick.

Looked carefully at online support for undertaking probate and decided to use this company due to the consistently high Trustpilot feedback. It did not disappoint. The process is easy to follow, excellent support documentation and I made use of the Support telephone service once - which was prompt and helpful.

This was a god send to me, made it all so simple and the support you receive if you have any questions or get stuck is amazing.

Questions were easy to read - specified what information was required. Showed what forms needed to be completed re inheritance tax and how to calculate it etc. Am dealing with a simple estate but was worth the cost for peace of mind - especially when I've read people pay solicitors thousands of pounds for the same service
