You Can Do Probate has saved me thousands of pounds. The system is incredibly easy to use. You do need to do your research so that you can answer the questions honestly and accurately, but everything you need is either included in the guidance in the system itself or readily available on the gov.uk website. The system also does a "sanity check" before you commit to paying for the license, to check that the system is suitable for your specific needs. So, you know before you commit whether the system is suitable for your specific circumstances. I submitted the forms prepared for me by You Can Do Probate and received my grant of probate 7 weeks later. Very happy.

I HIGHLY recommend the platform for anyone wanting to save solicitors fees and who wants to apply themselves. £325 gives you an easy to use platform that asks questions that are easy to understand. It is intuitive to use and red flags you if there is anything missing. Support is 1st class, sent an email question on a Sunday afternoon and had a reply 2 hours later! YCDP cuts out large parts of the probate forms that do not apply to your own application....My application was straightforward and the actual time i took on the YCDP platform was probably 30 mins. Quotes from solicitors were £2k to £3k JUST to fill out the forms, bear in mind that you have to provide the solicitors with all the details.

I have Absolutely no legal experience and had never done probate before and I found this was a brilliant tool to get the job done. I was going to be charged over £7,000 by a solicitor and the irony is that all the data that you would need to send the solicitor is exactly the same data you need to complete the probate application yourself. Loved this software and saved an absolute fortune!!!!!

i had talked to a solicitor to do the probate, he wanted 1 to 5 % of the value of the house approx £4,000 to £20,000 pounds then i found youcandoprobate.co.uk online, for £325 so instead of telling the high cost solicitor all the details he needed to know, i just wrote them same details on the online forms, and any questions i had were only a phone call away and each question was answered.
as you go through the online forms every thing is worked out for you and you print the forms off at the end and send them off. this as an excellent service and have no hesitation in recommending them, they are brilliant

When I first registered with YouCanDoProbate I was dubious: as it was an on-line format and I am incredibly poor with anything electronic, but I need not have worried. As soon as I sent a pleas for help my emails were answered and followed up with a phone call from Tom or Adam on the same day, and often within an hour ! They both had lots of patience and understood my concerns (which were really minor issues !) I was never felt to feel foolish and always treated with respect and professionalism.

I had recently helped my brother to obtain probate when his wife passed away, and he paid thousands of pounds to a Solicitor for much less than I have had to do with my case.

I only hope my application is accepted, and I now have substantial records to refer to regarding the estate due to this process.

The process from start to finish was so easy and the site actually walks you through everything you need to do, it only brings up the forms that are relevant to your probate claim and even self populates them for you, all this and at a fraction of the cost of employing the services of a solicitor.
I would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone.

My experience of using the YouCanDoProbate programme has been good and certainly it is a well put together one.
Firstly it specified the information which would be required by the Probate Office so that I could save time when using the programme.
It then went on with what is basically a copy of the Government sheets so that the information could be added.
Adding the information required was not as easy as it would seem.This was not a fault of the programme, but rather the way the person who had designed the sheets for the Government had expressed their requirements.
On several occasions I was a bit stuck and and sent a message to YCDP requesting assistance.
I found that they could not have been more helpful and I would like to thank both Adam and Tom for their assistance. They both answered my queries and made it clear that they would spent as much time as was necessary in doing so, very much a PLUS point in this day and age where many companies cannot get away fast enough.
They would contact me either by phone or email, whichever I preferred.
Another thing that I particularly liked was that the programme would not allow me to tick the box as finished in error, until each section it was complete.
By doing so it meant that the Probate office should not have to return it as incomplete.
The current programme is designed to cater for a maximum nett figure of £325,000 before Inheritance tax is payable. There are circumstances where there is only one son or daughter who will inherit and the Government will allow up to a nett figure of £500,000 before Inheritance Tax is due, and I was informed that they are working on an amendment to the programme to allow for this.
I can fully recommend this programme which is considerably cheaper than putting it in the hands of a Probate Specialist.

Throughout the process, every time we were unsure of something a representative (Tom) of Youcando Probate was at the end of the phone and could not have been more helpful. The whole process was easy and quick to complete.

YCDP really took the stress (as well as quite a lot of admin) out of the Probate application process. Very simple to follow, with clear instructions, and easy-to-follow User Guide. Thorough prompting ensures that you complete everything necessary at each stage before being allowed to print the final Probate application form. I only had to call for support once and my question was dealt with quickly and efficiently.

This makes probate relatively easy. It is important to take time to read the introductory notes. Also,make certain you have all necessary information ready to hand before commencing if you wish to achieve the time frame promised in the introduction. I found the ability to speak to a live person very easy and helpful.

Mine wasn’t a straight forward case. Following a very friendly informative chat with Tom, I felt confident to try and complete the process for myself. I had to ring and ask for a call back a couple of times, which they did very promptly. Luckily for me, I spoke to Tom on both occasions. He talked me through my issues, and helped me to complete the form the same day. I will be posting my documents tomorrow, and will hopefully do an update once I have received my grant of probate. I couldn’t find fault with any of the service, and would thoroughly recommend it. Thank you Tom.
