I ordered a pair of shoes in October
I ordered a pair of shoes in October, didn’t receive them (they were left outside in my front garden) and Yards Store are saying they won’t send a replacement or refund me as they were “safely delivered”. UPDATE: I never instructed Royal Mail at any point to leave in a safe place and Yards Store as of yet haven’t been able to demonstrate any evidence of me doing so. Customers beware of this when ordering through Yards Store.

Sandqvist Sacoche
Ordered a bargain Sandqvist Sacoche on Tuesday and it arrived Thursday. I was a bit dubious as it's pretty much half-price but it's a new, sealed item and is exactly as described.
I'll definitely be checking Yard Store before buying elsewhere in the future.

Sheffield store refused to give a refund
Sheffield store flatly refused to give a refund, only a replacement, even though they did not have a replacement. Apparently it is the company policy not to give refunds, ever. I could have bought it cheaper on the Internet, but wanted to support a local store. I wish I hadn’t, as I would have at least got a refund from an Internet store.

Very happy with the service and my purchase. I ordered a bag online and it arrived by Royal Mail within the timescale promised. No issues.
(They wanted me to do a review using their link to somewhere unknown, but I like to do my reviews on Trustpilot, not where suppliers tell me to do my reviews!)

Ordered a grey paul smith cap was charged £3.95 delivery they sent a green cap so returned item was charged £4.95 for the return , £8 out of pocket for there mistake wont be using again

Appalling service - A complete waste of time, "Yards still to go to improve" !! !
Placed an order on the Yards Store website on Friday at 12:00 for an item that was showing in stock, the order deadline was 14:00, paid the £7.95 for the next day delivery which would have been Saturday - No communication whatsoever received, phoned the store on Saturday, "customer services" were closed (what a surprise).
Phoned the store, was told they "don't have the ability to contact the warehouse" & "Don't deal directly with customer placed orders" - what a joke !
Saturday came & went, no delivery received, emailed customer services, no response - called them & eventually got through to someone who clearly did not care, was then informed that the item was out of stock - so all in all, a complete waste of time.
No communications, awful customer services, no delivery = no sale !
No wonder the high-street is dying out with "service" like this - I wouldn't even bother with this, clearly "Yards still to go to improve" !!

We're really so sorry this has been your experience with us.
Firstly, to clarify - our Next Day service on the website does clearly state Next Working Day so this would have arrived Monday, not Saturday. There is an option to select Saturday delivery if this is specifically needed.
Our store staff deal with customers face to face in the shops and do not have access to our website customers - it's just treated as a separate department, we hope you understand this is necessary and quite normal as in any business. The store were not being unhelpful, they just were unable to contact the office at that time.
We are truly sorry that the item you ordered was unavailable. Our warehouse had been looking for the item and were leaving no stone unturned - when you called first thing on Monday morning, it was before our CS team had been notified and confirmation given that this item could not be located. Had it been an hour later, we would have contacted you regarding the situation.
We're sorry you have been left with a poor impression and fully understand your frustration. We do take on board feedback and shall endeavour to speed up the notification process and also avoid the unavailability of stock at all times.

extremely rude and unhelpful customer service and price errors
I have never experienced such rude customer service. This has put me off ever shopping here again and have now warned many others against this. I hope someone could follow up with Amy to discuss her tone of voice with customers and how she comes across as it affecting your brand image. Please be warned that this brand hike up their prices ahead of sales - the product I received was labelled as £45 less than advertised online. I recommend shopping their brands elsewhere!

We received an opening email from you accusing us of falsley increasing our prices, as you have also done in this review. This is a totally false statement.
You bought a Sunspel perfume, correctly priced on our website as £125 for 100ml. We discounted this in our sale at 20% and you purchased it for a correctly discounted price of £100. We sent you a link to the Sunspel website to verify this price.
The perfume that we shipped was unfortunately incorrectly labelled as £80. As explained (politely), this was incorrectly labelled (human error) as £80 is the correct price for the 50ml perfume, not the 100ml perfume. This can also be verified on the Sunspel website.
At no point did you see the price of £80 prior to purchase for a 100ml perfume.
We did reassure you several times that you had not been overcharged - you in fact bought this at a 20% discounted price, as you thought you were when you placed your order.
We also pointed out that you could of course return the order for full refund.
The purpose of your emails was to get a further discount off an already generously discounted item - you were requesting what worked out to be a 49% discount off the correct RRP, which unfortunately we were unable to do.
After your 5th email we reaffirmed that you had not been misled or overcharged in any way.
The offer to return for refund stood, but you chose not to return the product.
